She is also so flexible & understanding - she helped us create a custom package and was flexible when we got all off track and scrapped our family photo shot list. (Also, a bonus - she helped me touch up my makeup multiple times with her little travel kit after I sobbed happy tears a bit too hard.) Her husband & second shooter, David, was also amazing. He had a mini fan he was using to keep us cool during our photos (it was high 90s) and my husband also kept saying how great David was during the groomsmen photos. Additionally, ALL of our family/bridal party/guests kept saying how amazing & kind Laura and David were!! We got our sneak peeks back while we were on our honeymoon (i think 4 days after the wedding?) and we are already OBSESSED!!! Her style is amazing and every shot was absolutely STUNNING. I am so so so excited to see the rest of our gallery and I swear I look at our photos at least 10 times a day!! I will 1000% be using Laura for any future photography needs and cannot recommend Lavender + Sage enough!!!!!

r day! During our first in person meeting at our engagement session it felt like we were with friends immediately, talking us through prompts, fixing my hair from the wind, and getting the shot! Our Engagement and wedding albums were delivered quickly and we were overwhelmed by the number of shots they were able to get! We are obsessed with our wedding day album, and have already printed and hung the memories all over our home. Looking forward to booking sessions with L+S in the future =)

o over details, and she was so flexible with the last minute difficulties and changes we needed to make. She even came to our rehearsal and helped to make sure everyone knew what to do. On the day of, she and her husband made everyone feel comfortable while also being structured enough to make sure we stuck to the timeline and got through our shot list. During the pre-ceremony groomsmen photo shoot, the guys stopped for street tacos, and we ended up with some really fun candids! They were willing to go the extra mile to make sure we didn’t just have really posed looking photos. They also set up a gorgeous flat lay of all our details to get beautiful shots of our invitations, rings, flowers, and my shoes. During the dancing, Laura noticed I was recording videos for some of my favorite songs and dances; she offered to do that for me with my phone while also taking the professional photos to make sure I had the chance to just enjoy the dancing. After the wedding, Laura sent me a sneak peak with some gorgeous photos of key moments (first kiss!) within a few days. That made it a lot easier to wait for the full gallery. Then, we got the full gallery only 3 weeks after the wedding, even though Thanksgiving was during that time. The photos are so beautiful, and they captured great pictures of every part of the wedding. We’ve received so many compliments on the pictures from all of our guests, and the website she uses makes it really easy to download all the photos in big batches. I’ve honestly changed my phone and computer backgrounds like 30 times in the last month because I just can’t pick which ones are my favorites! Overall, I am so so happy with the decision to go with Lavender + Sage, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat if I ever need more photography services!

They work so hard to make your moments special and care so much about what YOU want and what makes YOU comfortable. Laura looks out for every detail that not even you or your coordinator would think of. If my dress or hair was a little off she would run and fix it so the photo was perfect. My husband hates photos but even he felt extremely comfortable and enjoyed all the tips from Laura and Alex. We could not have asked for better photographers for our big day! We feel so so lucky to have had them and will always recommend them because they know what they are doing and truly care about every person in the room! No need to think twice about hiring them, you will be extremely happy with your photos, but also with the organization and passion Laura and Alex have!

Even after the proposal, she stood by me as I tried to compose myself and ALWAYS looks out for me so that our photos are free of flyaways or wardrobe malfunctions. She always goes above and beyond and does it with the most warming presence and smile. I cannot recommend her photography enough. We can't wait to look back on these photos after many many years of marriage when we've let ourselves go, and reminisce on the happiest days of our lives.
