Lavender + Sage Photography

ransparent on pricing and product, and were always on time if not early to meetings/events. They set expectations early and created a game plan for the wedding day giving us a sense of relief knowing that we wouldn’t have to worry about anything. Laura is amazing at capturing feeling in her photographs that makes you feel like you are still in that moment, and also knows which moments you want captured before you even know you want them. She also is so kind and helped decorate our arch the day before our wedding when she was just there to get a lay of the venue; I really appreciated her help on that.🫶🏻 We also got sneak peeks only 2 days after the wedding, and I can’t wait to see the rest of the photos; I know they will be amazing!!😊

sional, kind, and encouraging as we are a very camera shy couple. We decided to elope as we wanted an intimate ceremony and she captured just that. Her work speaks for itself. The photos radiate warmth, love, and an intimacy that only the best photographer could capture. I am forever thankful that I came across Lavender & Sage Photography and I am especially thankful to Laura for making my dreamy wedding shots come true! 💗

n’t wait! If you need a photographer book them you won’t regret it! She is our forever photographer moving forward! 🤍

sides capturing amazing photos, Laura helped make sure that the venue was set exactly how i had explained to her for the pictures. Finding a photographer that goes above and beyond is why I will forever recommend their amazing service!❤️

d she responded quickly and had a date available to take our engagement pictures. She sent me over any information I needed about the site and any permits that needed to be obtained. She made us feel comfortable especially my fiance who is camera shy. She does a great job of relaying instructions to make your photos look candid and not posed. She had the gallery delivered to us sooner than expected!! She is the absolute sweetest person ever and very funny!! I’m so excited for her to shoot my wedding.

he camera, but Laura makes you feel so comfortable - like that long time friend third wheeling your date and just snapping pics and making us laugh! Lol we absolutely loved our engagement session and we are so excited for our wedding photos. I highly recommend booking this photographer - thank me later! 🤩🥰🤍

to work with, personable, and simply amazing. I absolutely LOVE my engagement and wedding photos. She captured so much love and compassion between my husband and I. These photos will be cherished forever ❤️

he candids, to the perfectly edited pieces of beauty. I’ve booked Laura two times now, most recently… my wedding. We were flooded with so many quality photos that I still cannot pick a favorite. I highly recommend Laura to all of my friends. If you’re on the fence between photographers, CHOOSE LAURA! It’s a jaw-dropping experience & you will not regret it.

un, and I swear she kept me sane on my wedding day! She is also so flexible & understanding - she helped us create a custom package and was flexible when we got all off track and scrapped our family photo shot list. (Also, a bonus - she helped me touch up my makeup multiple times with her little travel kit after I sobbed happy tears a bit too hard.) Her husband & second shooter, David, was also amazing. He had a mini fan he was using to keep us cool during our photos (it was high 90s) and my husband also kept saying how great David was during the groomsmen photos. Additionally, ALL of our family/bridal party/guests kept saying how amazing & kind Laura and David were!! We got our sneak peeks back while we were on our honeymoon (i think 4 days after the wedding?) and we are already OBSESSED!!! Her style is amazing and every shot was absolutely STUNNING. I am so so so excited to see the rest of our gallery and I swear I look at our photos at least 10 times a day!! I will 1000% be using Laura for any future photography needs and cannot recommend Lavender + Sage enough!!!!!

oment we reached out to have them photograph our wedding and even after! They were thorough with their planning and perfectly captured the essence of our special day. While capturing our wedding day, they also made sure to check in with us throughout the day, easily got along with family and friends, offered words of encouragement, and maintained a warm presence. We are beyond pleased and grateful! We have no hesitation in working with them again in the future. We highly recommend them! Thank you, Laura and Alex!

hotography and the support you get in general on your big day, it's really special. I've gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos, from the shot itself to the overall vibe she creates for your whole wedding. It's just so beautiful. Also just a ton of fun to work with, I had never done any professional photoshoots before so to feel so comfortable immediately was a big deal.

ding photos. She created the most wonderful gallery of our special day and we are so thankful for all of the work she and her husband put in!

edication to exceeding expectations. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our photography and videography experience was seamless, from the initial consultation to receiving our photos. Working with this husband and wife duo was an absolute pleasure from start to finish! Their calming presence and infectious enthusiasm helped us relax and enjoy every moment of our special day, knowing that we were in the hands of a true professional. The photos turned out absolutely incredible and we are beyond happy that we went with Lavender and Sage!

ive from the initial emails. They were so sweet when we first met for our engagement pictures and made us feel so comfortable. They really cater to what each couple needs to be able to give them the best experience. I cannot say this enough BOOK WITH LAURA AND DAVID. They are truly incredible and I will always have these pictures and will constantly look at them because their work is just amazing.

the future!

calm my nerves and had a list of pictures ready to go to ensure we captured all of our special moments. I really feel like she went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and I can't be more grateful. Her husband, Alex, was also a second photographer and he was just as nice. I have nothing but good things to say about them. We were even surprised with a short wedding trailer/video that I appreciate so much. Our sneak-peak was sent over a couple days after the wedding and the pictures came out perfect. Our full gallery was AMAZING. We booked holiday family photos before we even received our full gallery! If you have the opportunity to book her DO NOT HESITATE!

art work, they are beyond what I was anticipating. We feel so lucky for finding Laura and David and could never thank them enough for how they showed up for our day. They are a no brainer.

we could have ever asked for!!!! Laura is absolutely amazing. She not only took her time with us, but she also walked us through ever pose and was so creative with every shot! Laura and Alex made us feel comfortable and are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. They are a dynamic duo that is not only professional and supportive, but they are also people that you will want to continue to know as friends! Not only are they knowledgeable about what makes beautiful pictures, but they are also experts on how to make a beautiful experience, and that is something I will never forget. I know that I will now be using Lavender + Sage for all of our milestone moments and can't wait to use them again! If you are looking for engagement and wedding photos, look no further! They are pure magic and took the most beautiful pictures that we will treasure forever.

ow my then fiancé & now husband. They've been apart of our journey & feel like family now. The way they capture a day & every moment within the day, is so impressive. If you're looking for photographers that will exceed every expectation you have, BOOK THEM! I promise you won't regret it!

r day! During our first in person meeting at our engagement session it felt like we were with friends immediately, talking us through prompts, fixing my hair from the wind, and getting the shot! Our Engagement and wedding albums were delivered quickly and we were overwhelmed by the number of shots they were able to get! We are obsessed with our wedding day album, and have already printed and hung the memories all over our home. Looking forward to booking sessions with L+S in the future =)

her!! Not only are the photos absolutely amazing but she is also incredibly easy to work with and goes above and beyond what is asked of her. We will definitely continue to use her and will highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a photographer!

o over details, and she was so flexible with the last minute difficulties and changes we needed to make. She even came to our rehearsal and helped to make sure everyone knew what to do. On the day of, she and her husband made everyone feel comfortable while also being structured enough to make sure we stuck to the timeline and got through our shot list. During the pre-ceremony groomsmen photo shoot, the guys stopped for street tacos, and we ended up with some really fun candids! They were willing to go the extra mile to make sure we didn’t just have really posed looking photos. They also set up a gorgeous flat lay of all our details to get beautiful shots of our invitations, rings, flowers, and my shoes. During the dancing, Laura noticed I was recording videos for some of my favorite songs and dances; she offered to do that for me with my phone while also taking the professional photos to make sure I had the chance to just enjoy the dancing. After the wedding, Laura sent me a sneak peak with some gorgeous photos of key moments (first kiss!) within a few days. That made it a lot easier to wait for the full gallery. Then, we got the full gallery only 3 weeks after the wedding, even though Thanksgiving was during that time. The photos are so beautiful, and they captured great pictures of every part of the wedding. We’ve received so many compliments on the pictures from all of our guests, and the website she uses makes it really easy to download all the photos in big batches. I’ve honestly changed my phone and computer backgrounds like 30 times in the last month because I just can’t pick which ones are my favorites! Overall, I am so so happy with the decision to go with Lavender + Sage, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat if I ever need more photography services!

t kind and caring human beings you will ever meet. They truly love what they do and are always giving 1000%. They work so hard to make your moments special and care so much about what YOU want and what makes YOU comfortable. Laura looks out for every detail that not even you or your coordinator would think of. If my dress or hair was a little off she would run and fix it so the photo was perfect. My husband hates photos but even he felt extremely comfortable and enjoyed all the tips from Laura and Alex. We could not have asked for better photographers for our big day! We feel so so lucky to have had them and will always recommend them because they know what they are doing and truly care about every person in the room! No need to think twice about hiring them, you will be extremely happy with your photos, but also with the organization and passion Laura and Alex have!

the best quality with her!

he does!

t only helped advise him about the logistics for the proposal, but completely staged the area complete with rose petals and a bottle of champagne on ice. Even after the proposal, she stood by me as I tried to compose myself and ALWAYS looks out for me so that our photos are free of flyaways or wardrobe malfunctions. She always goes above and beyond and does it with the most warming presence and smile. I cannot recommend her photography enough. We can't wait to look back on these photos after many many years of marriage when we've let ourselves go, and reminisce on the happiest days of our lives.

escribable way of capturing every raw emotion and I cannot express how thankful I am to have those amazing moments saved forever. My husband hired Laura and Alex for our surprise proposal and we haven't used any other photographers since. Laura immediately made me feel like we had known each other forever (she literally fixed my hair and makeup and put me back together while I was trying to process the whole proposal and she had known me for minutes). Since then, they've been by our sides through another engagement session, boudoir session & our wedding day and I would relive it all again if I could. She is incredibly endearing, positive, and uplifting - the BEST human to have around (not just during photography sessions, really just in general). I recommend Lavender + Sage to anyone and every one I get the chance to and I will continue to trust them with all of my future photography needs.

1 have became our number one supporters & the greatest friends. The work speaks for its self, and I can’t be any more grateful to be able to cherish & capture so many great memories with the best photographers & friends. We love you both so much! You are doing everything right 💗

s talented, professional, friendly, and fun to be around. She and her husband make a powerful team. They blew me away with the engagement photos and Laura made the boudoir session comfortable and fun. My wedding photos exceeded my expectations! They both were amazing to work with, especially on wedding day. I highly recommend them for any event but a must hire for your wedding.

by step and told us every pose to do and the photos came out amazing! I booked her for an engagement shoot and would do it again. They went above and beyond and captured it perfectly!

party shoot, she knew exactly what I was going for and totally accomplished the job! I can’t wait to use this team for more family shoots and events.

e for the whole planning process and offered support and advice for every step. Day of, she was ready to help out and got such amazing shots. She incorporated all the little details that meant so much to us in such magical ways. A great personality with a great eye for shots.

uidance in planning our wedding in the process. She was always professional, prepared, on time, and flexible with scheduling and location. She even came to our rehearsal the day before to scout out the best shots! She was always timely in rendering a finished photo collection as well. We were so impressed! I quote my best friend, “I wish she would have been my photographer!” Lavender & Sage has captured the most beautiful parts of our wedding experience that we will look back on forever. We could not have asked for better. Thank you, Laura! Christi & MJ Martinez
