color blue, I knew any florist that could incorporate that color palette was someone I wanted to work with. Sara and I spoke many times before the wedding, and she was so helpful in honing my vision on white with pops of blue into something really beautiful. Sara was so flexible and kind as we navigated postponing and downsizing my wedding. Our guests were blown away at how beautiful the reception space was, as well as the chuppah arrangement, where she was able to incorporate my husband's family's tallit. We had such a special day, and I would highly recommend Sara and Lavender and Leaf!

had a tight budget and Sara was creative in finding ways to re-purpose bouquets (our bridesmaids bouquets became centerpieces) and supplement the tables with rustic greenery. Our flowers looked STUNNING on the day of and everybody commented on them! They were exactly what we envisioned, and all the tables looked perfect. We cannot recommend Lavender & Leaf more!

They created gorgeous boutonnieres for the guys in our ceremony using feathers, unique flowers, bright colors, & incorporated unique sentimental charms into them. For the women, Sara made gorgeous floral bracelets. They also put gorgeous floral accents & finishing touches throughout our event space that tied it all together & made the setting simply incredible. Her artistic eye is unmatched. She was incredibly professional & did not require lots of direction. It was very clear that she kept me & my husband in mind in everything that she did. Her team was professional & incredibly sweet & creative. They arrived early to our event, set up everything perfectly, and surpassed any expectations that we could have had. She has everything you could ever need above and beyond flowers (i.e. candles, lanterns, tables runners, etc.), so no need to buy any of the things we wouldn't use again! What really made her stand out was the fact that she personally stayed through the ceremony to make sure that anything we were planning on repurposing from the ceremony ended up in the reception space exactly as she planned. Everything was absolutely gorgeous!

Sara was the first florist I spoke with and once I did, I knew in my gut she was perfect for us. Most importantly, the end result was spectacular. I cried tears of joy when I saw my bouquet for the first time which was whimsical, airy, and romantic, just as we had discussed. The table florals were also stunning, and I appreciated that Sara was willing to repurpose our ceremony florals into our reception tent to help us save money. She worked quickly during the cocktail hour to repurpose the florals and made them look perfect in just a short time. I also appreciated Sara’s willingness to consult on speciality taper candles that I was bringing in. She helped advise on the color of the candles, and even though I brought them in, she set them up and handled them on the day of. Would recommend Sara to anyone! d started looking into Sara’s work online and from other weddings, I knew I wanted her so badly and I am so lucky that she was available for our wedding date. I told our photographer that we booked Lavender & Leaf and she was so excited and knew the flowers would be absolutely gorgeous. Everyone in the Hudson Valley knows Sara is the best and Sara really is the best and a true artist! A lot of my inspiration photos that I gave to her came from her own website. My mother, who is also very detail oriented, worked a lot with Sara during the wedding planning process and we both couldn’t be happier. She is so easy to talk to and one of the nicest people you will ever meet. You can tell she puts her heart & soul into her arrangements. My husband couldn’t believe how beautiful all of the details were at our wedding and how our vision came to life on our wedding day. (He really loved his boutonniere too.) Also, I thought I might mention that I don’t know if I ever have been to a wedding where multiple guests are taking pictures of the flower arrangements, candles and place settings. Everyone loved all of the details! The details helped make our day just that much more magical for both of us and our guests, especially the ones that were lucky enough to go home with centerpieces! I had my wedding at the Links and Sara was there to pin the guys on arrival, set up for the ceremony, and move some ceremony pieces inside for centerpieces. Sara brought gorgeous bouquets to my hotel for all of the girls and they were just beautiful. For my something old, I had a lace sleeve from my mom's wedding dress and Sara was able to cut it and use it as a lace wrap around my bouquet. It was gorgeous and I received a lot of compliments on it. I do not have a single negative thing to say about my experience working with Sara!!

We talked over the phone about what we wanted (boutonnieres plus a few small arrangements for our home wedding, with a fall theme; hence the relatively low cost of our order) and I knew she understood my vision. I found a few tropical bird feathers among my recently deceased mother's things; they fit perfectly with our colors, so I asked Sara to add them to our boutonnieres. She totally "got" it and did a beautiful job. Her arrangements were stunning--and held in a variety of holders, like burlap-ribbon wrapped wine bottles, a wooden box, twine-wrapped apothecary jars. We didn't even ask for that, and she just KNEW. The arrangements fit perfectly with our decor but definitely made a special impact. I highly recommend Lavender and Leaf--Sara is amazing!

We did a fall theme and Sara incorporated every aspect of fall that I love and added a rustic touch to it. The result was stunning! Beautiful!
