Lavender and Locks Design and Flower Farm, LLC

ere perfect! She even did special touches like incorporating hops into my husband's boutonniere when she found out he enjoys craft brewing. I definitely recommend her for anyone's wedding; she's super personable and amazing!

de my vision of my wedding flowers come to life. I would highly recommend them!!

I could ever have asked for and cannot recommend them enough!

scent…everything! Naturally, L&L became my first choice for our florist as a result! However, after my initial meeting with Diane, I can tell you that they could have been named ANYTHING, and I would have still hired her! I felt truly listened to, and like Diane completely understood my vision for our wedding flowers. I know I keep saying it in every review, but like the rest of our vendors, she felt more like a family friend than a hired vendor for the day. In fact, dealing with flower stuff became one of my favorite parts of wedding planning, since Diane made it so easy (and dare I say, fun)! It was always like a nice little break for me, in the midst of the chaos. During our initial meeting, I expressed how much I love lavender… and maybe she does it for every bride, but the morning the flowers arrived, Diane had included a sachet of lavender for me. When I tell you started BAWLING~! The small gesture made me feel like she saw me as an actual person, and not just a customer. Not only that, but the flowers were absolutely GORGEOUS! I caught my bridesmaids sooo many times throughout the day just smelling or admiring their bouquets! Diane completely nailed the flowers, and they were even better than anything I could have envisioned. Even after the wedding, Diane continued to walk my Mom (who was driving 16+ hours back home to Kansas with our bouquets) through how to properly care for our bouquets and get them back home with minimal damage done to the blooms, so that I could preserve as much as possible! Diane and Lavender & Locks were absolutely wonderful to work with, and I would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much, Diane—I’m glad my first wedding tears were from you! :)

had liked. She was accommodating to our desired price range, and was able to bring our ideas to life. The arrangements and bouquets provided on the wedding day were even better than imagined. Her and Katie are a great team for getting your venue ready for your big day. Highly recommend!

em what we wanted, and they made it happen. As simple as that. The bridesmaid bouquets, groomsman boutonnieres, and table arrangements were stunning, and the exact color pallet we discussed. My bridal bouquet was a dream, and I still smile looking at it as it dries out. Everything at the wedding was set up perfectly....we literally can't say one critique. Thank you so much L&L!!!

ght us so many fun textures and colors for our wildflower theme. She even threw in some extra dried flowers! We went over what we wanted in the winter with her and she planted a flower patch just for us that spring. I loved knowing where my flowers came from and I appreciate the care and creativity that went into every flower for our wedding. Thanks Diane!

ined and the centerpieces were simple, yet added to our story with peacock and pheasant feathers.

ead about how I wanted it to look. THEY OUTDID THEMSELVES!!! It was perfect and we received many compliments on all of our florals. You can't go wrong with Lavender and Locks!

k with and were always responsive and answered any question I had. I would definitely recommend Lavender and Locks to friends and family!

ome of my favorite flowers (Peruvian lilies) into my bouquet! She also included some flowers specifically for our photographer to use and gave me a wide variety of flowers and greens to use in my hair. Everything was arranged so thoughtfully, including a loop in the ribbon of my bouquet to help hold more easily. She was also very flexible when COVID changed our original plans and we would definitely recommend choosing Lavender & Locks for all your floral needs!

ome to life. Flowers were an extremely meaningful element of my wedding, as they were a reflection of my grandmother and our shared love of gardening. Diane carefully captured this special relationship, and while my grandmother was not there in person, I felt her presence through my flowers. It was a beautiful way to remember and honor her on such an important day. I cannot say enough good things about Lavender and Locks, and I am so honored their design and creativity brought our wedding to life.

for. They were very responsive to my emails and made the entire process very simple! Thanks ladies!

possibilities and helping us to land on the right budget, she was truly a dream! Our flowers were so so beautiful and she perfectly mixed in the colors of the green bridesmaids dresses with my favorite color (purple) to create a romantic look! The ceremony space was spectacular and we had wine barrels behind our sweetheart table that she covered in greenery and no one could stop talking about how incredible it looked. So grateful for Diane and her team!!!

out with her team. Wanting to save my bouquet after the special day Diane was very knowledgeable about the best flowers to do so. Thank you L&L for a lovely day!

nspiration pictures and communications via email and phone, Diane blew me away with my wedding floral arrangements! I could not have asked for anyone to do a better job with a great eye for details. I had so many wedding guests commenting on the different arrangements from the bouquets to the large arrangements on our hexagon arbor. If I am ever in the need of a florist in the future, I would not hesitate reaching out to Diane.

ding. On occasion, she would send me some additional pictures to really make sure she knew what I was wanting. She made my floral dreams come true and the flowers were above and beyond what I could have anticipated.

y daughters got married I would want to hire L&L for their floral design skill, but also because I just loved Diane's personality both online and in person. When my daughter got engaged in February 2020, she was the first vendor I contacted, as my daughter loved her work too and let much of the planning up to me. When it was time to meet and start discussing the details, I knew for sure we had made the right choice. During our conversation we found that we are kindred spirits in more than a few ways. Diane is a great listener, wonderful at asking just the right questions, and took my scattered vision and inspiration photos and ran with them. Her ideas surpassed my own in creativity, and having noted a few descriptive words I must have repeatedly said, she designed tablescapes and an overall ambiance for our incredibly special day that surpassed my rather high expectations. The most special compliment I received that day was when a friend told me my daughter said, "It took my breath away" when she and her new husband entered the reception area to be introduced. The credit for the atmosphere in that room goes largely to Lavender and Locks, and I could not be more thrilled with what Diane and Katie created for us. The wedding coordinator also told us that it was one of the most fantastic set-ups they had ever seen at the venue, and that is high praise. I overheard a friend tell someone else that she first heard of L&L through me and that now they are her florist as well, even though her girls are not even nearly ready to be married. You will do yourself a favor by hiring L&L for your wedding floral design too (and whatever flower or design needs you may have). I highly recommend them on every level.

em the vision for my events and each time, they made all my floral dreams come true! They produce incredibly stunning designs and the quality of the blooms is evident. They are so easy to work with and many of their flowers are sourced from their own farm! I have contracted them to do florals for more than one event and I have always been delighted! I highly, highly recommend.

nd she immediately set up an appointment for me to meet her to talk about flowers possibilities. She was very helpful and helped me get into contact with Diane Corman. I did not know where to begin when it comes to flowers, but Diane helped me talk through the process, and was very helpful in helping me pick out my color schemes exactly to the style that I like. We communicated all through email and she was very patient and pleasant. Kate and Diane were willing to help with everything and was lovely to work with. I was on a tight budget and they were very understanding and helped me stay within that limit, but at the same time achieve my color scheme. I would 100 percent recommend!!! Message them and they will make your wedding less stressful. Trust me especially during COVID! N.M.

dors. Diane and her team are EXCEPTIONAL. Our wedding plans changed multiple times, even up to the final hour, and Diane was one of the most supportive and patient vendors that we worked with during this process. She went above and beyond to create an updated floral design that captured the beauty of our original vision while modifying it to fit with our final micro wedding. Her calm and professional demeanor couldn’t have been more appreciated amidst COVID-19 wedding planning mayhem. Her flowers and designs are STUNNING. My sister and I have both used her for our weddings and I wouldn’t consider working with anyone else. You can trust her implicitly and rest assured knowing that she will create and absolutely breathtaking design. Can not recommend her highly enough.

could not have happened without their help. When my husband and I decided to postpone our big wedding in favor of a small intimate backyard ceremony, Diane was flexible in helping us achieve our new vision. We opted for buckets of wildflowers to make our own center pieces with, and Diane arranged my bouquet, my husband’s corsage, and a huge flower piece to attached to our wedding arch. The buckets flowers wer huge, and we had more than enough to transform my backyard into a fairytale. I can’t stress enough how working with good people made all the difference in planning/ replanning a wedding during covid, and Diane is a great person to work with. She made my vision come to life, and I could recommend her more. I will be working with Diane again next for our big celebration.

stown. I wanted to support a small business florist local to this area. I reached out to Diane just a couple of weeks prior to our date and explained our situation. She was a true joy to work with and made a difficult time a lot less stressful. I sent her a few ideas and shared my vision and SHE. NAILED. IT! I love knowing that my flowers were locally sourced and designed by such a lovely, talented, creative individual. I would recommend Lavender and Locks to any bride, but especially to those who want to take the stress out of planning and trust the professional to do an outstanding job!

uquet & all other flowers for the ceremony/reception area. Everything was perfect and the flowers looked perfect with my colors.

absolute agreement. We planned our wedding remotely, so Diane worked with us via emails and phone calls. We only met in person after the wedding. Still every time, I hung up smiling! To start, I put together pictures, and Diane was able to give me feedback for what would be in season, locally grown, and pricing. Even throughout the planning process, I shared some frustrations about finding rentals and learned that she has additional decor items available to borrow. I have very little knowledge of flowers, but I'm glad I trusted Diane to work her magic! Can't wait for another opportunity to work with Lavender & Locks!

. I just sent her a lot of pictures and she made them come to life! I HIGHLY recommend Diane if you really want to be impressed and wowed. Side note: almost two weeks after my wedding and all my centerpiece flowers are still alive and beautiful!

ults were beautiful! And they were very gracious with us when we would change our order or needed something last minute. We felt very taken care of and can't recommend them highly enough!

om my bouquet to boutonnières to our centerpieces everything was just perfect! We LOVED being able to use some of their home grown Dalias and other flowers. Truly such an awesome perk. Thank you Diane and Katie for everything!

ting on, they were so flexible and answered all my questions very quickly! I even had to make a few changes within the last week before my wedding, and it wasn't a problem for them at all! I loved how our flowers turned out, and I highly recommend using them!!

an easy and joyful experience. She helped with giving suggestions which I appreciated so much and she listened to what we envisioned. Dianne and Katie were able to take my Pinterest ideas and transform them into creations that were even more beautiful and unique. I also loved that they use homegrown flowers in their creations. I am beyond happy that we picked Lavender and Locks to be apart of our special day! I highly recommend them! You will NOT be disappointed!

them, and made the most gorgeous flowers come to life! I received tons of compliments about my wedding flowers from my guests. Throughout the whole planning process, Diane was thoughtful, kind, dealt with my somewhat high-strung mother, and was just a pleasure to work with. I knew I wanted locally-grown flowers and the majority of my flowers were from her farm! The pictures speak for themselves, but Diane was so amazing and I would recommend her to anyone! I felt like she achieved so much while staying within my budget.

h their own special touches. Diane was extremely knowledgeable about the possibilities of flowers and greenery that could be used. She was easy-going, punctual, and professionally pleasant to work with. She has a true gift and I would recommend her over and over again to anyone searching for a floral designer.

communication was via e-mail. She checked in with me several times to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted. I sent her specific photos of what I had envisioned for our bouquets, boutonnieres and garland. EVERYTHING turned out even better than I could have ever imagined. She also had suggestions along the way about other vendors that she knew would help with our vision. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars -- she truly is a gem!

l vendor, having locally grown flowers was important because we wanted fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced flowers. Diane took a few conversations of our vision and surpassed all expectations. She was very organized and communicative. From boutonnieres to table runners to my incredible bouquet, every detail was excellent. The value of Lavender and Locks was incredible. It was almost half the price of other florists we looked at and our flower arrangements were gorgeous. At the end of our day, she also organized recycling of our flowers to repurpose at local nursing homes and a cancer center to continue to spread joy and brighten the day of others.

, were answered quickly. On the wedding day, I couldn't have asked for more perfect flowers. Lavendar and Locks was one of the best decisions I made on my wedding day and you won't regret choosing them.

I knew right away that she was the one for us! She took my vision and made it come alive. As soon as I saw the flowers that she had created I was in tears - overwhelmed with joy! She was so easy to work with and made planning the arrangements/bouquets fun and far from stressful. I sincerely appreciate all her help and expertise!

y bouquets and the greenery. Diane even made little flower collars for my dogs! She is the best!

reations and my own DIY table garlands. Diane is a great communicator and makes it easy to get in touch with her for any changes that occur pre-wedding. I have nothing but great things to say about her and her business and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great business and friendly people!!

ing we wanted within our budget. We met with her a few times before the wedding and shared pictures, preferences, etc. and she did the rest! Lots of communication via email and text which made things SO easy!! Diane made our centerpieces, memory table, and entire venue just look perfect (we were going for a very earthy, organic, romantic, soft feel). She even put together a flower arch which just made everything look perfect. She set everything up and tore everything down and we were able to take all of our beautiful flowers home with us the next day. We honestly could go on and on about how wonderful she is to work with and HIGHLY recommend her for anyone that is looking for the best florist ever!!!

ng I didn’t think I wanted to go big on the flowers, maybe just grow some wildflowers and place them in the jars on the day of. I am so glad my mom talked me out of that and that the comradery of Penn Stater’s led me to Diane. When I think about my wedding I still can’t get over how amazing the flowers looked and how much care Diane put in. So many people commented on how beautiful and natural all of the centerpieces and extra floral touches looked with the setting of my wedding. Diane made my vison of “perfectly imperfect” and my dream to use old milk glasses from my family’s dairy a reality. My bouquet was everything I could have asked for and more, when Diane brought it to me I sobbed and I get tears in my eyes thinking about it now. Every part of it was perfect, including a special piece of lace looped for me to hold a tissue as I walked down the aisle. The attention to detail and creativity of Lavender and Locks is what sets them apart from other florists; I assure you that you will be as amazed as I was. I only found out after the wedding how above and beyond Diane went to bring my dream day to life. The amount of extra driving around, and last minute things she did to make sure it would be perfect is an example of what an amazing person Diane is and how dedicated she is to her brides. Now that’s not even all of it! We also chose to use Lavender and Locks wedding coordinating services. I’m telling you right now—do it. It is worth every penny and I now recommend it to everyone planning a wedding, especially using L&L. Diane came to my wedding venue (which happened to be my home) and we talked over every detail of the rehearsal and day of. She was able to read me when I was stressed about decision overload, or there was something I didn’t like but was afraid to speak up about. She had great suggestions, and tons of experience with the situations and things I was worried about. We made a timeline and Diane coordinated with my other vendors, everything was planned and the day of she made sure I didn’t spend a second thinking about any of it. Not only was it a blessing to me, but to my mom and other loved ones who were able to enjoy the day without stressing out about what needed to happen next. When I look back on that day, having Diane and Lavender and Locks a part of it is definitely the best thing I did—apart from marrying my husband of course ;) Please take my advice and give L&L a call!

added the extra colors I was looking for. I highly recommend Lavender and Locks! They made everything look incredible, and the service was outstanding! Best decision I made!
