A mediterranean dream! Recommend 10/10. When I walked into my wedding venue and saw the amazing work of Marta at Lavender Fields, I began to cry at the sight of the beautiful flora...
l work. She created a space of pure romance with twinkling candles, soft blush roses and olive branches. Her work is so incredible and she helped me realize my vision in a way that only a true artist can do.
Overall, if you were to ask anyone to describe our wedding their first words would be flowers. We had flowers everywhere. So many flowers that the room smelled amazing. So many fl...
owers that after the event we rented a U-Haul to bring as many as we could home because I was in denial of giving them up. Ever since I was little, I knew that I wanted to have lots of real flowers at the wedding and luckily, we found an amazing florist, Marta, to bring this dream to life.
If you are looking for a florist for your wedding, look no further! Marta has a true gift for flowers. After just having two short meetings with Marta and showing her some of the flowers we like, she was able to transform them into something like a fairytale. She has a gift and passion for flowers and decorating. I would highly recommend her for your wedding (or any event). She is amazing to work with and is extremely helpful in not only offering suggestions about flowers, but also for the overall look and feel for the wedding. She was able to recommend places where we should use flowers or candles and where to watch our budget. I personally could not imagine working with anyone else and hope to work with her again.
To go into a little more detail, we had an outdoor ceremony and on the day our wedding, about 3 hours before our wedding it completely down poured. We were nervous and upset, but thankfully we chose Lavender Fields Flowers & Décor as our florist. Marta and her team were able to quickly react and able to still setup all the flowers for our ceremony outside and inside. Everything turned our even more beautiful than I was expecting. I will never forget that moment when my husband and I first walked into our venue at the Hyatt Lodge and saw how she transformed the Grand Oaks Pavilion. It was breathtaking, I could not stop smiling and could have just stayed in that room and never leave.
Oh, and we cannot forget about the arch. It looked not only beautiful, but smelled amazing and was extremely heavy. Marta is so marvelous that not only did her and her team setup this extraordinary arch at the ceremony they also moved it all the way up a hill and into the ballroom for behind our head table. To this day if anyone was to ask me what my favorite part of our wedding was it would be the flowers and Marta. If you were to ask anyone else about our wedding, I know they will say the same.
So, as we said at the beginning look no further and book Marta for your wedding or any other upcoming event.

I truly am not sure what more there is to be said about this amazing business. Marta is not a florist, she is an artist. She has such a passion that goes beyond her craft. I felt a...
n instant connection the moment we walked into her office for our first meeting. She was a blessing every step of the way for our wedding planning and worked with me to ensure my vision came to life down to the smallest detail. Lavender Fields assisted with my Bridal Shower decor as well as my Wedding decor and each time they knocked it out of the park. My wedding flowers were absolutely stunning. I sent her inspiration photos and placed 100% of my trust into her, and boy did it pay off. My flowers were the least of my worries because I knew I was in good hands. My reception space took my breathe away when we walked into the venue on the night of our wedding. Every feeling and emotion brought to life. I felt incredibly light and happy just being in the room alone. Marta is very experienced and has great connections with major vendors in the Chicagoland area. On more than one occasion she vouched for me in areas that surpassed just the flowers. I cannot recommend her enough and now have a new connection with a person I can truly call a friend more than anything. We will be using their services for all our event needs in the future because she simply leaves no room for competition. Do yourself a favor and look no further, she is the ONE! <3

Marta blew us away with the decor she provided for our wedding at the Armour House. First of all, she takes the time to get to know you and your style. I cannot state the importanc...
e of this more! Other florists seemed more detached and transactional while Marta truly becomes like a friend to you. In the planning process, she brings ideas to the table but also listens to what you imagine for your day and helps you understand what can be done within your budget. When we saw the flowers on the day of the wedding, we were amazed. She perfectly captured the look we wanted to create. We feel so lucky to have had her on our team. We cannot recommend her enough! She is such a hidden gem.

You completely exceeded my expectations! I still get goosebumps thinking about how I felt when I opened the doors and saw how beautiful our tables looked! Those bridges!!! Love love love. Thank you again!!!
If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. We met with multiple florists for our wedding and as soon as we met Marta, we knew she was the one. You could tell she instantly got ou...
r vision and was going to put all of her love into making our day special. Every time we mentioned an idea, she pulled up a picture and it was spot on. We even ended up changing around our floral vision at our last meeting before the wedding and she assured us it was no big deal and that she could make anything happen, and that she did.
I can’t put into words how I felt walking into our reception venue. I was speechless and I don’t think I’ve ever been speechless before in my life. It literally moved me to tears. It was beyond stunning. It was elegant and romantic. The flowers, the votives, the complimentary colors of the candles, the Halloween table, EVERYTHING. You went all out and every single detail was perfect and beyond anything I could have ever imagined. You made our day so beautiful ❤️
Marta exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
It was a pleasure to work with Lavender Fields for our wedding floral needs. Given Marta’s experience in the floral industry, it gave us assurance knowing that the final result wou...
ld be amazing. The attention to detail was incredible and every centerpiece was perfect. When we requested floral for our outdoor ceremony, she built a ceremony arch from scratch to fit our needs, which guests absolutely loved. As we didn’t have a wedding planner, Marta was amazing in coordinating with the venue and other vendors giving us piece of mind during the day of our wedding. We are very grateful for her service!
I wish I could fully articulate how special Marta was as a central part of the planning for my wedding. From our first meeting, I expressed that I wanted something different- class...
ic yet modern. Instead of offering up basic suggestions for our decor and florals, she took the time to talk things through with us. Marta would send me inspiration via Instagram over a year before our wedding as we were planning. We evolved from white floral round centerpieces to King's table tablescapes covered in floating candles and flexed white roses. I told her I wanted the whole room to glow and feel warm and romantic, and Marta delivered! She brought in over 700 vases for candles, hand made a special peace sign floral memorial wreath that has not been done before, and even gifted my husband with the most beautiful peony corsage that I originally didn't think I even wanted! Marta is honest and upfront. Her extensive experiences allows her to tell you what will work well, and what will not. She is prompt with responding to emails, goes above and beyond for her clients, and truly is an artist with her work. Marta is not a florist who has money as her main goal- the care and artistry she puts into each wedding is unmatched. I am a very thorough person and I did my research and met with many other florists. None in the Chicagoland area compared! I cannot recommend her enough. From my bridal bouquet, to the flowers on our cake, to the buds that we used for detail shots- everything was perfect. I would not have changed a thing. If you do not use this wonderful company, you are missing out! Marta is a gem and truly cares about her clients. I feel so lucky to have found to work as a team to create my gorgeous wedding!
Marta was recommended by our planner, and was willing to take us on as a VERY last-minute client after we parted ways with another very well-known Chicago florist who just wasn't w...
orking out (another story for another day).
Not only did she come through in a BIG way by not cutting any corners with only 3 weeks before our wedding, she absolutely blew my expectations out of the water!
I was having trouble pinpointing what I wanted, so I shared some examples and Marta was able to connect the dots and pick out the cohesive elements that I wanted. Additionally, she served as a true consultant and professional, asking me questions about the flowers in the inspiration photos -- e.g. was it important to me to have that exact flower, or would I be open to something similar but far more affordable?
Best of all, she didn't stray an inch over my budget-- and I felt like it went a long way for the insanely gorgeous flowers I received.
Marta is kind, creative, detail-oriented, and simply amazing at what she does. I received so many compliments on how unique and high-quality my flowers were from guests and vendors alike.
Marta, THANK YOU! You are a gem!
Marta was such a dream to work with. We liked her immediately when she was honest about where we should spend and where it wasn't worth it. She helped shape our vision and listened...
patiently while I emailed numerous times over the year panicking about silly things like whether the bridesmaids dresses would work with what we planned. A few weeks before our wedding I saw florals on her Instagram that I loved and she asked if I wanted to go darker. I said maybe halfway. I had no idea what to expect and when she dropped off our personal flowers I was floored with the beautiful bouquets she put together. I was once again stunned when we walked into our reception and saw how she turned the room into the romantic fall wedding we wanted but couldn't quite articulate ourselves.
Marta is just absolutely amazing at what she does! She takes your vision and brings it to life even bigger and better than you could ever imagine. You can completely trust her with...
her expertise and listen to her when she thinks or doesn’t think something will look good lol! I asked for all neutrals and specific flowers and she did just that, even through the pandemic when it was harder to get certain flowers! Because of Marta, my wedding was absolutely beautiful and I received so many compliments from every guest about the centerpieces, especially the sweetheart table that was covered in a large centerpiece and floating candles. Everything she did was absolutely breathtaking! I 100% recommend Lavender Fields for any event!
Look no further, Marta is EVERYTHING. She is pure and honest and doesn’t gauge you when it comes to pricing. She listens to your vision and budget and will give go above and beyond...
to make it happen. When I walked into my venue, I was in complete awe. It was literally the venue of my dreams and she was a huge reason why. I cannot wait to get my pictures to show off her work. Thank you Martha!

tely stunning, better than I ever could have imagined or dreamt of! We received compliments all night long regarding the breath-taking flowers.
Marta went above & beyond to help make our day picture perfect! The Lavender Fields Flower & Décor team were wonderful with last minute changes to my floor plan & some flower additions I decided to add days before the wedding! Marta found a way to make it all work & never once gave me a hard time or push back. Marta was always available for a quick question, phone call or text. The BEST compliment we received was from the wedding coordinator, “Marta is a breath of fresh air. She is so unbelievably humble & worked with our set-up team to make everything come together perfectly. The set-up team reported that Marta & her husband set up, did a room transition & tear down at the end of the night w/record speed, collaboration & attention to detail.”
We would highly suggest Marta & the Lavender Fields Flower & Décor team to everyone! We cannot wait to work w/Marta on future events! Thank you again Marta for everything! You are the best!!!!
Marta was AMAZING!! I had no direction what so ever. After meeting with her she helped pick out different elements that I loved. I couldn’t imagine what it was going to look like. ...
When I got my flowers and saw the venue I was BEYOND SHOCKED!! They were the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen in my life. The colors tied in everything in the wedding together. I almost didn’t recognize the venue room at all. It was amazing and creative and the perfect mix of texture with flowers. I don’t have enough words to say how much I recommend working with her!! You won’t regret it if you do
