A few weeks prior to the wedding, we filled out a questionnaire to inform Leigh of any special plans or pictures we wanted so she was aware of our expectations. We also were planning our wedding from 4 hours away from Pittsburgh and Leigh was so flexible about meeting with us, knowing that we were only in Pittsburgh for a limited time. She made my fiance and I feel so at ease the whole time...she has such a way of making her clients feel comfortable in front of the camera. ugh this could have ruined the shoot Leigh brought out clear umbrellas and made the shoot incredibly romantic and beautiful as she took pictures in the pouring rain! At our wedding Leigh went out of her way to do an amazing job. As expected, the brides team was behind schedule , so Leigh took it upon herself to change her schedule to ensure that all the desired photos were completed in whatever time remained. ancelled their Valentine's Day plans to do our engagement shoot with not just us, but our Rottweiler! We were in love with the pictures but more or less were so happy with how down to earth and professional both of them were. It was an easy decision to have Lavender Leigh as our photographer for our wedding. Leigh could not have been more perfect the day of our wedding. She certainly had her hands full with both bridal parties and none of the groomsmen wanting to cooperate haha! She remained professional, poise and so calm throughout the entire day as of course it was hectic! While shooting just us girls, I truly felt like she was one of us. She fit right in with me and my girls and knew exactly what we wanted. The images she captured are truly breathtaking. I must say, though, that Leigh stealing my husband and I away from the reception during the night to do some rooftop photographs was probably my absolute favorite part of the day/night when it came to photos. I would hands down recommend Leigh over and over again! She's a fun, sweet and professional woman who values her work and takes her job and clients very seriously. She made our engagement shoot and wedding so incredibly special and we couldn't thank her enough.

We were a bit worried about having enough time to fit them all in but not only did we get all the pictures we wanted we were even done with time to spare! This was great as it meant we were able to mingle with our guests more during the cocktail hour! Leigh and Barry also received so many great compliments from family and friends the day of! When we got our pictures, in exactly the amount of time Leigh told us it would take too, they were even more spectacular than we ever could have imagined! One of the most special parts of the album to us, though, was that they took the time to go around to every table and take a picture of all of our guests! They were so easy to get along with I never felt posed or stiff, our entire bridal party had a blast and everyone's personalities come out in our pictures. My boudoir session was my favorite day of my engagement, and I recommend her photography to anyone (boudoir, engagement, and wedding) who is looking for a photographer that really listens to your wants and requests.
