Lavish Drinks

Our wedding was 11/09/2024. We got this vender through the knot in hopes to having great services. We booked her months in advance so we didn’t really need to communicate much at first But as the days came closer we tried to express our wishes, some wishes that had changed and confirme some dates/times. She was awful at getting back to us. We would go weeks/months not hearing back which started getting concerning but I the bride wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. I should’ve listen to all the red flags like having to zelle her “mom” sorry kind of weird, then her business having multiple numbers to contact her? Weird, not only that but she said she could get us liquor/beer for cheap through a vender and we of course got lots of liquor and beer through her to save some money, we also requested meetings several times due to lack of communication and we started feeling off about her but we had already paid so we felt it was too late to cancel, so we wanted to pick up what we purchased we wanted to drive to her or meet half way but she always had an excuse or wouldn’t answer, furthermore our wedding coordinator asked us about all our venders and we expressed our concerns about her and she had told us to go ahead and have a back up plan because she seemed off but of course I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. We all contacted her and she didn’t answer for hrs then once we told her that we were going to file fraud to the bank if she didn’t answer she came at my husband and our coordinator disrespectfully and unprofessional “don’t be having people texting my phone and we don’t need no meetings” then we proceeded asking if we could pick up what we paid for since we did work our butts off to buy it, she then said to text her on Thursday 11/07/24 and she’d let us know if we could pick up what we bought then. My husband texted her 2 times hrs apart. Then my husband texted her Friday 11/08/24 after since she still didn’t answer, to then receive a “automated blocked” text message THE DAY BEFORE OUR WEDDING. We contacted the number she originally gave us, the number on her Facebook, and the number we zelled “her mom”. It was 3-4 of us because yeah we were stressed. Our calls wouldn’t go through the only person that answered once was her mom she explained her daughter wasn’t that person to not show that if we signed a contact it stands and she will be there that we are overreacting. News flash your daughter committed fraud and is disrespectful and unprofessional. I would like $2,500 back. We had to completely start over on all liquor/beer and we had to find last minute bartenders less than 12hrs before our wedding.
