About this vendor
At Lavish Photography, we believe wedding photography should do more than document a day—it should preserve how it felt.
We are a husband-and-wife team who approach weddings through emotion, intention, and story. Dave photographs with an editorial, cinematic eye, while Jee leads the experience behind the scenes—guiding planning, timelines, and communication so every couple feels supported from the very first conversation.
What sets us apart is how we guide.
Our work is intentionally directed, shaping movement, posture, light, and color to create refined, editorial-quality images—while allowing real emotion to lead. The result is imagery that feels elevated yet natural, polished yet deeply personal. Your photos never feel forced or performed, but they still look worthy of a magazine spread.
We don’t chase trends or over-style moments.
Instead, we focus on the energy of the day—the anticipation before a first look, the emotion in a quiet glance, the joy that unfolds when you’re fully present. Whether your celebration is intimate or grand, we approach every wedding with the same care: to frame your love story in a way that feels cinematic, timeless, and true to you.
From thoughtful planning to a calm, steady presence on your wedding day, our role is to take care of the details—so you can stay inside the meaning of the moment. We don’t just photograph weddings. We stand beside you as quiet witnesses, preserving not only how everything looked, but how your love lived in that chapter of your life.
If you value emotion, artistry, and an experience that feels intentional from start to finish, Lavish Photography may be the right fit for you.

Choosing Dave and his team was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process.
We first found them on Instagram and were immediately drawn to their photogra...
phy style. Living in the DC area, we loved how they showcased the beauty of local landmarks and historic monuments. After seeing their work, we knew they were exactly the type of photographers we wanted for our engagement session and wedding.
From the very beginning, the experience was exceptional. We had a planning meeting with Dave's wife, who helped coordinate everything and made sure we were the right fit for each other. Communication was excellent, timelines were organized, and we felt confident throughout the entire process.
Our engagement session in Washington, DC was incredible. Dave has a unique ability to make you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. It honestly felt like we were spending time with a longtime friend. Even in crowded public locations, he created an environment that felt private and relaxed, allowing us to be ourselves.
For our wedding in Southern Pennsylvania, Dave and his team traveled from the DMV area and arrived early, ready to work. Throughout the day, they were professional, organized, and flexible. They stayed later than expected to ensure important moments were captured and worked seamlessly alongside our videographer. In fact, Dave even helped connect us with a videographer beforehand, making the entire experience feel cohesive and stress-free.
What impressed us most was their ability to capture every aspect of the day. Not only did they photograph us beautifully, but they also documented our families, wedding party, and guests in a way that felt authentic and meaningful. Somehow, they instinctively knew which family relationships were most important and captured countless moments we'll treasure forever. I especially love the photos they took of my mom and other close family members.
When we received our gallery, it felt like watching our wedding day unfold all over again. The photos weren't just pictures, they told a complete story. We got to experience the wedding from our own perspective and through the eyes of our guests. Every emotion, reaction, detail, and special moment was preserved beautifully.
One of our favorite parts was that we were able to get photos with every guest at our wedding. Having those memories documented is something we'll cherish forever.
We have already recommended Dave and his team to numerous friends and family members, and we fully intend to work with them again for future milestones. If you're considering booking them, do it. Their talent, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to make you feel comfortable are second to none.
We couldn't be happier with our experience.
We used Lavish Photography for our Engagement photoshoot, and we had such a good experience! They were professional, skilled, and got our photos done ridiculously fast. The shoot i...
tself was very fun, with a team of 3 all capturing different angles and using a wide range of cameras and video cameras to capture our personalities as a couple. They listened to our preferences and brought our vision to life. We would highly recommend giving them a look for engagement photos and trusting them to match their artistic intentions to your vision. The only reason we haven't booked them for our wedding yet is because we don't have our date or venue yet!
