After changing venues a couple of times and locations, Christine was always so professional, flexible, and caring. Anything I wanted she went out of her way to make it happen. She even went out with us after the wedding for our after party. Christine not only became my “therapist” during my wedding planning but someone I will call my forever friend. I wish we could have a second wedding because Christine was so amazing!!!

Lavish exceeded our expectations! They listened to our wants, our vision and provided a listing of venues and restaurants for us to choose from which made things so easy being located in a different state. Unfortunately we had to reschedule our date three times due to COVID. However, each time we rescheduled, Christine was so understanding and would work with all our vendors to get everything rescheduled. I like to be well prepared and have everything organized and ready in advanced. Christine and team would jump on last minute phone calls leading up to the wedding or reply back immediately to all my emails. s worked in my reception venue before (Central Library whose staff is a pain in the rear to get a hold of). Her stellar reviews and her sophisticated but approachable vibe helped me in choosing her. Even though I booked her a year and a half before my wedding, she was very accommodating to all my questions. The vendor list she had was very helpful to me. I booked most of my vendors with that list, which I cross-referenced with reviews from various websites. She also gave me a budget spreadsheet and a timeline, which I also used while I planned my wedding. She was also accommodating to many things, like picking up food for wedding, picking up the equipment for my a capella group (additional cost for gas), and helping with executing my betta fish centerpiece idea come to life. Two months (I think) before my wedding, she met up with me and my husband to see where the planning is at. That's where I met my lead coordinator for the wedding, Nadia Pandes. Nadia was absolutely amazing. I had some family issues before the wedding so I felt super behind on wedding planning. She caught up with everything I need to do. She was on the ball. I thought I was super organized, but she is way on top of things than me. Before OCD that I am, I am happy that Nadia was my coordinator, and I felt more at ease afterwards. She even got Sherwood Hartwell to finally contact her so we could do a walk-through of our wedding reception (San Diego Central Library). She's amazing! On the day of the wedding, Christine and Nadia were on top of everything. There was a sudden change of emcee (my family friend backed out) so Christine tried to tell my friend (the new emcee) on what the reception timeline will be and what my friend's role will be. When I got to the ceremony (Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church), Nadia was there, and was in communication with the church staff. Even though my guests were late, she was able to pull off everything seamlessly. I didn't know how to seat the family in the church, but for some amazing reason, everybody was where they are supposed to be. I didn't know they did it. Then when we forgot to give the password to my computer to be used for music for cocktail hour, Nadia got a hold of our limo driver. There were a lot of elements in my wedding, and anything could go wrong. But she remained calm, which made me relaxed. I'm sure she's juggling a million things in her head, but she made me feel at ease that she got it. Things were running behind schedule, but she made everything work. She even helped me change into my dancing outfit because my bridesmaids were nowhere to be found. Christine was equally great. My gift card cage was easily accessible so she made sure that all my gift cards were given to my mom or sister right away. She even bought more vodka when we were running out of it. At the end of the night, I saw Nadia working with my caterer (Christie of Coast Catering) to make sure everything is packed up nicely. Either Nadia or Christine made sure that all my betta fishes found a home as well. I would highly, highly recommend them for any event planning needs. I'm super glad that I went with them. If I know anybody who will get married in San Diego, I will definitely say to go with them. They are AMAZING!

She is also such a sweet person! Once the month prior our wedding came around, Nadia, our lead coordinator took our wedding planning completely off our hands and OMG, NADIA IS THE BEST!!!! I cannot say enough good things about Nadia. I am the type of person where I need things done right away and am very detailed oriented and Nadia was the best person to work with this. She seriously was our arms, legs, head and everything else throughout the last month. She literally took everything off our hands and we did not feel stressed at all. My husband even said to me "Wow, I thought the last month would be very stressful but we are watching tv and relaxing everyday" and I 100% agreed with him. Nadia displayed the utmost professionalism throughout the entire process, was a friend to us whenever we needed any guidance or help, was SO on top of following up with all our vendors and SO on top of everything else (seriously, it's like she's always there when we needed her and had a question, i wonder if she ever takes a break), ALWAYS had the best attitude and was always smiling which showed us everything was under control. She is the type of person that can work with anyone and very easy to talk to and get along with. On the day of, we also had 2 assistant coordinators, Laurie and Margaret. Laurie was with us from the beginning of the day through the ceremony and she was wonderful! She worked with us to ensure we stayed on our schedule and when we weren't, she adjusted the schedule to make sure we went back on it. Laurie played a significant part for this part of the day. I didn't get a chance to work with Margaret that much as she was helping set up our reception with Nadia while Laurie was with us, but she always had a positive attitude when I saw her, and the reception turned out SO beautiful! I couldn't be more happy to have hired Lavish Weddings as our coordinator as everything was executed with perfection. Our big day couldn't have been perfect without Christine and her team. We chose Lavish Weddings full service. BEST DECISION EVER - almost as good as getting to say "I do." Christine helped us every step of the way. She created a design board for our wedding (similar to Pinterest) in which we could all add ideas & comments. Sometimes she'd surprise me because I'd add a picture in the middle of the night & within minutes I'd see comments from her, asking if I'd like to add this or that detail. To help create our dream wedding, Christine and her team were able to suggest vendors whose services were within our budget. This helped us immensely, since she was able to do the research for us & provide a list of vendors that met our criteria. never once did we feel pressured to go beyond budget, and honestly, after doing our research we realized that no matter which of the vendors listed we chose, none would be bad choices. (We loved each one we ended up choosing, btw.). Christine kept us organized and on time with a checklist, and by the time our wedding date came, there really wasn't much to stress about! In fact, so many friends and family were impressed at how unstressed we were!
