Lawn Club Fine Catering

When I walked into the ballroom at the Lawn Club and Christine described how the day would be for our wedding, I cried. This was the place! Christine and Karen were amazing from start to finish. Christine was very helpful through the whole process between giving you lists of preferred vendors, checking in, and as the day approached - calming frazzled nerves! (Which, every bride needs!) Our wedding at the Lawn Club was PERFECT. It's gorgeous, classic, and minimal additional decoration is needed to be added since the rooms speak for themselves. We used the venue for both our ceremony and our reception. During the cocktail hour, the guests go to the Formal Dining Room and the Ballroom is flipped for the reception. Much to my chagrin, it rained on our wedding day. Thankfully, 99% of the time we were inside the Lawn Club, but you do need to briefly go outside to enter into the ballroom for the ceremony. The whole week leading up to our wedding, I emailed Christine every day about the weather. She was amazing at calming my nerves, but the day of - downpour the whole day! The whole staff pitched in and with lots of umbrellas of all shapes and sizes (including giant patio table umbrellas) we all made it in for our grand entrance. So many beautiful spaces for photographs, that while I missed not being able to have outdoor shots, we couldn't have asked for a more picturesque indoor space. Food, drink, tables, chairs, dishes, table cloths, coat check, etc...all included in the pricing. This really helps limit the amount you have to worry about when planning and really, in my opinion, helps justify the pricing. Food was PHENOMENAL...chefs did an amazing job. A few months before your big day, the LC puts on a tasting where you can try all the different food choices you have. You almost had to roll me out of there that day - ha! Day of Staff (other than the AMAZING Christine!) : There is 1 server per table, so quick and efficient when putting out the courses. The general manager is discreet and very professional. He made rounds asking if everyone was enjoying their time and if he could do anything for them. I did not find out until the next day that there was an incident with one of our guests who had to be cut off at the bar! (being embarrassed about a person the day after is so much better than being embarrassed about someone the day of your wedding) There is a preferred vendor list, which also helps you hire quality people that will compliment your day at the Lawn Club. They are very careful when curating this list, but are happy to review any potential new vendors you may want. To sum up, the Lawn Club was my dream venue for our wedding, and Christine and all the staff at the LC made my dream a reality on 11-11-22! Thank you, a thousand times thank you!
