This a great "hidden gem" in Lawrence. We are not country club members but were treated like members. The price for the space was very reasonable and the cost for food and alcohol ...
was reasonable also. They changed event managers a month before we got married but that did not cause us hardly any problems. There were no hidden fees or extras that you learn of after the fact. Also we had to have several special meals due to allergies and there was no additional cost or hassle for them to make those meals. Many of our guests said how good the food was and how nice the staff was.

nator at LCC had to go on maternity leave prematurely the week before our wedding which is certainly no ones fault. However, the subsequent communication from the country club on arrival time, decorating, food pick up later and other details was a little difficult. We did not get the left over food, which is maybe more on us.
Overall, it was lovely. We are happy our reception was there.
