About this vendor
Lawrence Preserve at Horseleg Creek is a wedding venue in Rome, GA, within close proximity to the local town and other amenities. Boasting a range of activities open to the public year-round, the venue also welcomes couples and their loved ones to say ‘I do’. The sprawling tree-filled grounds can be used as the backdrop to memorable photographs and outdoor ceremonies for an authentic countryside feel.
This country club estate offers an array of outdoor areas for various wedding events from the ceremony to cocktail hour with views of the grounds. Expansive windows blur the boundaries between the indoor ballroom and the open skies, allowing natural light to flood the space. Guests can wander along the green hills, by the pond, or relax on the rustic rocking chairs conveniently along the porch. The main house is simple and minimally designed to complement the decor dreams of each couple. From a laid-back barbecue-style wedding to a luxury affair, couples can customize the space to their liking.
Walking in from the wraparound stone porch, couples and guests enter through double glass doors to a modern ballroom space. Polished wooden floors, golden chandeliers, and cream-colored walls create a blank canvas for a variety of decor ideas. A sandstone fireplace takes center stage, adding a touch of warmth to the venue while the bar space is characterized by deep carpet and lanterns. Wedding parties can relax in on-site suites before the ceremony to unwind on the embroidered couches and climate-controlled rooms before the festivities begin.
Lawrence Preserve at Horseleg Creek offers all-inclusive packages to couples planning their wedding day. From half-day to full-day rentals, the venue can assist with the planning process from the beginning. A designated coordinator is available to discuss the catering menu and bar services available for each event. The venue also provides the necessary linens and tableware for a hassle-free experience, along with professional staff to manage the events of the day. Management is happy to arrange every detail from the DJ to rental equipment and can even prepare transportation for guests to and from the estate.

This is a beautiful place for a wedding. The staff were easy to work with and answered any questions timely. You will not be disappointed with this beautiful spot.
This venue is gorgeous and surrounding area even more. As soon as I saw first few pictures, I knew that was the place I was looking for. Todd, property manager, is even more amazin...
g. We needed to organize our wedding remotely and in very short period of time and honestly, I have no idea how we would do it without him. Since our first contact through all of the process he was helping us on each and every step. He was available for video calls so i could see the venue and international calls to discuss the details and go through all of our questions. Also, ee recommended us other vendors, like catering companies, photographers, wedding cakes and not just that, he contacted some of them personally to let them know we will contact them and to let them know what we were looking for and check if they are available on our wedding day. And there are no words to describe how much he did for us on our wedding day: from organization part, dealing with other vendors, even helping me to put some decorations. During photo session he was driving us around the property in his truck so we could have wedding photos taken at different locations (property is huge and beautiful). My family could not attend the wedding, unfortunately, but they were on video call during the even and Todd was making sure that laptop is placed so they can see whats going on, even during the ceremony, he carried it around to make sure they don't miss anything. He's also a DJ, he did a perfect job in that segment and still had time to do all of the things described above. We would give this place and Todd a 100 stars (but 5 is maximum). Thank you for all of the assistance and making our day beyond amazing!!

Lawrence Plantation is a wonderful venue! We recently had our wedding and reception here on 10/10/2020. From the moment we booked this venue back in September 2019 we knew we made ...
the right decision. Todd went above and beyond to ensure that we had exactly what we wanted on our wedding day.
The venue is huge, has plenty of options for indoor and outdoor space, and is an excellent location for both wedding ceremony and reception. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and are so pleased with our venue choice!
We cannot recommend this place enough! My husband and I had our wedding here back in November of 2019. From the beginning, Todd, the manager, was very welcoming. He made the proces...
s so easy for us! He consistently kept me and my mother updated in the months prior to the wedding, and was so helpful in preparing us for the big day!
We decided to have our wedding outside. The day before our big day, it decided to rain. Todd was very understanding with us needing to put a tent up last minute. Even better, he was our DJ! He did a great job! Our special day turned out beautiful and everything was perfect! The scenery made our pictures beyond amazing! The plantation house has the ability to allow you to decorate however you choose and make it individualized and special to you. It is very spacious and comfortably fit all of our guests with still having a large dance floor!
Again, Todd was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. We met up with him several times leading up to our wedding and he was always able to answer all of our questions. We highly recommend this venue and are so thankful we had our wedding here! Everything was amazing, and it could not have happened without the help of our families and Todd!

IY wedding to have a place that was so supportive and accomodating. Any question we had, they had an answer and by the day of our wedding, there were new upgrades made for us to have a more decorative day. 11/10 stars!! We love Lawrence plantation!!
This venue is PERFECT for a reception. It has so much room and is an incredible value.

floor and lots of socializing. Todd Williams was so helpful with all of the details. They offer great options for catering, decorations, DJ Service, Bartending and photography. Thank you for making our daughter's dream come true!❤👰🤵❤
Our daughter had her wedding at Lawrence Plantation in October 2019, and we could not have been more pleased! It is a classic southern venue that is beautiful yet also very functio...
nal. When the groom's parents visited the venue several months before the wedding, they liked it so much they decided to host the rehearsal dinner there as well!
When we visited other local venues, we realized that LP has several advantages. First of all, it has a huge covered porch that is wonderful in case of inclement weather. For our rehearsal dinner, it easily accommodated 40 people seated at tables. Inside the venue is very roomy. The night of the wedding, we had 170 guests and never felt crowded (and that included a large dance floor)! There is an abundance of parking so your guests don't have to walk far. The drive to the venue down Horseleg Creek Road is lovely; the out-of-town guests thoroughly enjoyed the scenery.
We opted to have the ceremony outdoors, so the guests were looking over what was once a golf course. The view was absolutely gorgeous! If we had had bad weather, we could have easily moved the ceremony indoors in front of the huge stone fireplace.
The manager of the venue, Todd, was very polite and professional throughout the months leading up to the wedding. He was always quick to respond to our many questions and requests. The day of the wedding when we had a little emergency involving the wedding arch and a floral piece, Todd dropped his other duties to help take care of the situation.
Lawrence Plantation is a wonderful venue in many different ways. It was the perfect choice for our daughter's wedding and helped create a memorable day!
