Layah's Bridal Boutique

Amazing.

This was such a FANTASTIC experience, We went here with my maid of honor, bridesmaid and mother of the groom and had such a great experience. This was the first place we went, the first dress I picked and it was THE DRESS - it was even named after me (Summer by an Australian designer). Tamara was so patient and we were all laughing and taking pictures the whole time, even FaceTiming my Mom who couldn’t make it. I had 2 other bridal salon appointments that day and after trying on dozens of dresses that could not compare, plus being overwhelmed and stressed at larger salons I called Tamara, went back the same day and said yes to the dress! Tamara was so sweet, incredibly helpful and I feel excited to support a local family owned business that she named after her daughter

Here's how I would describe my search for a wedding dress-- magical, stress free, uncomplicated, supportive, and, above all, personal. And I completely owe that experience to Layah's Bridal Boutique and the amazing ladies who work there! Future brides, do yourself a favor, and make sure you check out this lovely store. For us, it was the only stop we needed. Let me share with you just some of the things that make this boutique so special. 1. The Ladies As soon as I entered the shop Tamara gave me, my friends, and my future mom her undivided attention- and both her and Mimi continued to do so for the next two hours. Tamara was so attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. She completely respects the decisions of the bride and I never once felt like I was being pushed into anything. She maintained such a casual, stress-free, supportive attitude and all my worries melted away when I talked with her. She's confident and knowledgeable and just so great at what she does- I knew that if my dress was in that shop she'd make sure I was in it. She's also so sincere, open, and fun. I felt so comfortable talking with her, asking her about her own experiences, and I probably asked her way too many questions! But she seemed so willing and happy to answer everything I asked about--from how the entire process worked to her own personal taste in dresses. We had a two hour appointment, and let me tell you, it felt like Tamara and Mimi honestly cared, and wanted me to find something I loved. I'm not the only ones who loved them. My entire group felt so taken care of while talking with these girls the whole two hours. They were seriously willing to take a ridiculous amount of pictures for us. We laughed with them, we cried with them, we picked their beautiful brains, and genuinely just had fun and connected with these two down to earth, amazing people! 2. The Dresses They may not be a huge boutique but they've got a unique, affordable, fantastic selection of bridal gowns! Their boutique is the epitome of quality over quantity. It's completely unlike so many of the other boutiques I've been to when wedding dress shopping for my friends. Usually there's so many dresses it's intimidating and overwhelming, and it's almost impossible to find something that speaks to you in these seas of white fabric. This place is seriously the opposite of that! Every dress has a place there, and you can see some bride choosing and loving it. Their dresses are romantic, stunning, and different, and they have a great variety of styles. And even if you don't find what you're looking for here I can almost promise you'll have a fun experience. They are happy to advise you and pick out dresses for you, but they also are completely willing to let you put the experience in your own hands and encourage you to pull whatever dresses you like. Plus, they are actually willing to order in dresses you'd like to try before you come in if it's from a designer they carry! Also, just FYI, I found my dress the moment I walked by their front window and didn't realize it. It wasn't what I had been looking for, but I saw it and said 'Wow! That's pretty!" When they heard that, they took it off the mannequin immediately for me. It was the second dress I tried on, and I fell in love. Despite trying the dress for me so early on, I did my due diligence and tried a few more, and every dress they put me in was flattering and lovely!!! I had just already given my heart to the dress I ended up choosing! 3. The Boutique & Location I went wedding dress shopping with my best friend for her wedding dress and visited at least 5 other places with her. Never have I seen somewhere so personal and intimate! We had the entire space all to ourselves. And it was a gorgeous space, let me tell you! Down to every last detail, this boutique was beautiful, warm and lovely!! It's the perfect combination of classy, romantic, and welcoming! I have no idea how they did it!! The decor is perfect, the accessories as so wonderfully arranged. You'll want to take pictures, and you'll look great in them too! They also provide cold waters which was a godsend in this hot hot summer!! Plus, it's nestled in the quaint little town of Old World. You'll stroll down a brick pathway straight out of Europe to get to this boutique, which is an experience in itself, and once you find your special dress you can check out a German Bakery and grab yourself some strudel, or get some crepes and mimosas to celebrate! This is the first boutique I visited--and the last, and I'm glad because I got to enjoy Old World afterwards! Plus, if you want to do some more shopping or catch a movie, Bella Terra is right across the street! Make sure you visit Layah's Bridal! You'll be thankful you did!!
