Katie was wonderful to work with. She listened to every little detail that I requested and brought my vision to life in ways I couldn’t have even imagined. The amount of compliments I got on the florals from my wedding alone was unbelievable, and so rightful. Katie is a true expert at her craft and her love for what she does is so evident in the arrangements she creates. If you are on the fence about choosing the right florist for your special day, choose Katie and Layers of Lovely- you will absolutely not be disappointed!
My husband and I got married in November this year at running deer golf club. We are over the moon happy with Katie and her team. Katie truly made my vision come to life and the flowers and her work were exceptional. Every time I spoke with her she assured me of everything and it would be how I wanted and it was more then I could have asked for. It was such a pleasure to work with Katie and I can not recommend her and her team enough. Thank you for everything Katie!

We got married last week and hired Katie and her team to do our reception flowers at The Merion. We had centerpieces, cake flowers, and a statement arch around our sweetheart table. We did not have fixed wedding colors or anything - I simply showed Katie some inspiration pictures and asked her for mixed seasonal florals in mixed colors and trusted her to design it. When I say she KILLED IT - everyone loved how beautiful and elegant the design was and the flowers were amazing. It was honestly the most stress-free experience in our wedding planning process and the prices were so much more reasonable than other florists I consulted. 10/10 would recommend!

Our alter turned out absolutely amazing and everyone complimented all the flowers. Katie even made last minute boutonnières on site for some family. Thank you Katie!! We got married in September (this review is long overdue) and Layers of Lovely was everything I could have ever dreamed of for our flowers. Katie was such an amazing person to work with and she went above and beyond with creating the most beautiful work I've ever seen at a wedding. Of course I am bias but I still have people coming to me several months later asking who we hired because of how stunning everything turned out. Katie was always so helpful and quick to respond. I was super indecisive and constantly asking for her advice throughout the entire planning process and she was always so patient with me. I am not a "design" person whatsoever and she was such a gem taking care of everything we needed. She created a gorgeous arch for our ceremony & also a floral chandelier for the reception which was jaw dropping. We had a neon sign that I was concerned about hanging against a white background and she knew exactly how to decorate around it so that it truly popped. Every single detail (big or small) was perfect and one of my favorite memories was walking into our reception area prior to guests arriving and just taking everything in... It was simply breathtaking. I cannot recommend Layers of Lovely enough!

Katie was such a joy to work with! Aside from delivering an AMAZING product (which we continue to reminisce about months afterward), she was able to understand/interpret our vision, and the genuine enjoyment in creating beautiful arrangements was evident in her work. Layers of Lovely designed and staged florals for our fall wedding by using seasonal flowers and greenery to match our aesthetic and exceeded everything we could have hoped for. During the planning process, Katie's knowledge of seasonal flowers, budget considerations, and experience from many weddings made our decision making process easier. I would recommend Layers of Lovely to anyone and everyone!

Katie!! You and your team did a amazing job on my wedding on 02.05.2023. I couldn’t be any happier with all the flowers. Everything was beautiful!!! My bouquet the centerpieces the candles, mirror and welcome sign everything was gorgeous! You definitely capture my vision and made it in to a reality. Thanks for making my day special!
During my first conversation with Katie- I knew she was the perfect fit for our wedding. With the vague descriptions I gave, she understood my vision and what I was going for perfectly in the initial quote/vision board she provided.
Throughout the process, Katie was super easy to work with and flexible with any changes I requested. She was even able to accommodate a few additions I had made only a couple weeks before the big day.
My only "complaint" is that sometimes response time is a bit slow, but keep in mind Katie has a small team and she most definitely will get back to you within a few days.
Overall, the flowers for our wedding were STUNNING!! Some of them (dahlias) were grown by Katie herself. Everything turned out better than I could have ever imagined, and very reasonably priced. I would argue that Katie did just as good work as some vendors that wanted to charge me $10K+ for similar scale of arrangements, if not 100x better! So happy we chose Layers of Lovely and can't wait to get my pressed bouquet back so I can continue to enjoy her work for years to come (yes- she also offers bouquet preservation!)
We booked with Layers of Lovely in Feb 2021 for my 10/7/2022 wedding. We didn’t have a huge floral budget but Katie worked with us from the beginning. She created a beautiful vision board and estimate. Since then I have come to her with many changes and switches- including changing from a venue to a backyard wedding and she was so accommodating. Before the wedding she reached out to confirm the time to drop things off and even dropped off the men’s flowers to a separate location nearby. Katie and her team went above and beyond. All of the bouquets were stunning and she used such a cool array of flowers. We were also blown away by our sweetheart table arrangement. We received so many compliments- with one aunt even saying that we had the nicest boutonnières she has ever seen at a wedding!! I chose to do floral preservation with Layers Of Lovely as well and I am so excited! I highly recommend Layers of Lovely to anyone still looking for a florist.
I got married in a restaurant event space. It was pretty much a blank industrial-vibe space where we were able to decorate it as we wished. Layers of Lovely transformed our venue into the vision I had for an elegant, romantic, beautiful, chic vibe. My bouquet was perfect, it was a good size and not so big that it looked unbalanced, as so many of them do today.
My guests kept commenting on the beautiful flowers. Our venue was a bit challenging to work with and I was very nervous when the big day came. I couldn't believe how well everything came together with the florals, cake, lounge furniture, and other decor all complementing each other so well. It just made my day so special. Layers of Lovely also provided beautiful curtains accented by gorgeous greenery and roses to screen off a busy highway...People thought the venue had those curtains up all the time which just shows how seamlessly they incorporated that element into the overall design. It was just perfect.
We could not have been happier with Katie's floral expertise! I absolutely loved the pictures I saw showcased. The floral arrangements all seemed so unique and personal! Another thing that led us to the decision of working with Layers of Lovely is that when I told her what we were looking for, she sent back an exact quote (other florists sent back a price range) so we knew exactly what to expect. Even before booking, she had us fill out a questionairre of what we wanted (colors, preferences, etc) and sent back a vision board complete with pictures and prices so we could envision what our wedding day would look like!
The bouquets were all gorgeous, the boutonnieres were unique, and the ceremony and reception floral arrangements were better than I could have ever imagined. Would definitely recommend Layers of Lovely!
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Katie of Layers of Lovely Design! She and her team did a outstanding job on the flowers for our wedding! The pieces she put together were the most gorgeous things I’ve ever seen and I can’t stop going back and staring at the pictures! Her work is amazing and she is a dream wedding vendor!

All I can say is WOW! Katie was an absolute joy to work with and there are no words to describe the beautiful assortment of flowers she provided for my spooky Halloween wedding. I know I was probably one of a BUNCH of weddings she had to plan for but her flower choice and attention to detail for my venue made me think I was the only bride she had on her to-do list. I HIGHLY recommend Layers of Lovely. I would choose her a million times over again.

Katie was one of the first vendors I booked after finding my venue. From the moment she sent my floral proposal (which had so much detail it was amazing) I was certain I wanted her for my wedding. She was such a easy person to work with and was always so responsive!! & to top it off, my flowers were everything I wanted & more!! From my table garlands, to my ceremony space & sweet heart table! My love for flowers and design started at a young age spending countless hours in what my grandmother referred to as her english garden, but was more like a wild meadow if you ask me. I loved running around watching the flowers bloom from season to season and use that knowledge when designing. I draw my inspiration not only from the season and the venue, but from my unique clients. The are our greatest inspiration after all. In order to better service my clients I have a large inventory of rentals available in order to tell their unique love story. Arches, candles, vases–we have it all!
