ver met. We really love her candid shots—Layne has an elevated documentary style of photography. I find that many wedding photographers generate an album that feels stilted, or over-produced but Layne's photos are both beautifully captured and an honest representation of the day. The photos from the dance floor are a big highlight for us. Even so, when it came to things like the staged family pictures, multiple family members remarked how easy she was to be around, how natural she made those moments feel, and how stress free she made the mothers. We just wanted her to hang out all night. Can't recommend Layne highly enough.

energy with us on our big day. We got married in Arizona, and she was willing to travel for the wedding. Planning her accommodations couldn't have been easier, as she is incredibly easy-going. Working with her in preparation for the wedding was a dream. She is very quick and easy to communicate with, and was willing to meet and discuss every little detail so that everything was perfectly planned the day of. We had a lot of crazy, unconventional ideas, and Layne was supportive and gung-ho for every single one. The day of the wedding ran super smoothly. Layne is incredibly professional, she arrived early and was ready to start shooting as soon as we arrived at the venue. She checked in with us every step of the way to make sure she was getting the shots we wanted, and suggested tons of great shots we never would have thought of. She made me, my husband, and our wedding party feel like a million bucks when she was photographing us, and her warmth and sense of humor brought out genuine smiles and laughter. She got every single shot on our list and then some, and we are so so so in love with our wedding photos. When we arrived at the venue we were warned that it was rattlesnake season (!!!!) but Layne risked life and limb to get the most gorgeous shots of us in the desert. She was extremely quick in getting us previews and our full album, and continued to work and communicate with us until we had every last shot and edit we wanted. Having Layne as our photographer is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Her bright, fun, positive personality was a key element in us having a relaxed, perfect day! I cannot recommend Layne enough, we love her and you will too.

e qualmed the second Layne arrived. She made us laugh, encouraged us to be ourselves and it resulted in all of us having a whole lot of fun. I could NOT have been happier with how our photos turned out - we will absolutely treasure them dorever. Layne is, hands down, the best photographer I have ever worked with and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

eir time to get ready and I was freaking out. My sisters and Layne told me not to worry about it, her response was "I'm on it!" She somehow rangled up the boys, took amazing pictures, and ran back to take more pictures of me and my bridesmaids before I even knew it!! I also chose Layne because her eye for photography is amazing!! You can look at Pinterest posed pictures all day, but that wasn't what I really wanted. Layne truly captured every single moment perfectly! She caught all the crying(happy tears), laughing, dancing, decor, and love that filled that day! I can look through my wedding album and relive my wedding through her photography!

essional, thoughtful, easy to work with, and incredibly experienced. She listened to what we were looking for and is some of the best money we spent on our wedding. But more valuable than all of that, she is a wonderful human. It was important to me that on our wedding day we were surrounded by as much love as we hold for each other, and Layne became a part of that. Her ease with people and talent as a photographer gave her a very special ability to capture our wedding how we remember it: as the greatest party with the best people...including her! She's not in the photos...but I wouldn't have minded if she had been. We cannot recommend her enough.

We got married in an off beat location, so the only good outdoor space for photos was in an alley and OMG do they look awesome, you can't even tell! All the photos were so lovely and Layne is a professional through and through. I hope she'll do some anniversary shots for us soon!
