ally considering the fact that your wedding took place over 2 1/2 years ago, and at that time, you reached out to retract your initial review. In fact, you sent me the following email, which explained that the original review was posted by accident and was not intended for a public platform: “Hello again,     I apologize as the review was an accident and I’ve been trying to fix it for an hour or 2! I did not see your reply to the email until after I had published the review and I only published it because I thought you hadn’t seen my original email sent this past Sunday. After I got an email asking for a review, I assumed that it was the only way you would see it. I hope the time stamps somehow show it because my intention was truly just to get in touch with you.      My mom and I have a complicated relationship which strained a lot of things that day. I will admit, people were frequently coming in and out and I see how that made -----'s job harder. A few times I looked into my phone screen to see how I looked but that was only at the make up. I really did not see my hair until it was over. My mom helped me into my dress and ----- stayed to see me out. Truthfully, my hair took a while and we finished at 5:15 with both hair and make up before putting the dress on. I can say that most everything ----- told you is true. It’s just that I think she was being pressured and I never really saw my hair or make up in an actual mirror or fully until it was finished.       I never wanted her to feel pressured but I was late to our agreed timing and many family members were calling me to see why I was so late. ----- fully deserves what we paid her and it was not my intention to post the review in a public platform. I will take it down if I can find a way to do so. I thought that the email asking for a response would go through you and not straight to the website. ” --Kennedy Given that the artist (whose name I have removed) you referenced is no longer with my company, I’m unclear as to why these concerns have resurfaced. It’s important to note that we worked diligently at the time to resolve any misunderstandings, and based on your email, it seemed we had reached an understanding. To clarify some details: Your artist, was delayed in starting because we were unable to get in touch with you prior to the wedding. Despite two previous requests, you had not sent the room number where services would be performed, so your artist was waiting in the parking lot. Once she located you, you switched rooms and had to get settled. Additionally, you had declined a preview session, so we add extra time the day of to make sure you love it. Despite the delay, your artist stayed to help you into your dress and ensured you were ready to go. I also want to acknowledge that the makeup process took longer due to frequent interruptions, as family members were pulling you away from the chair, even after your artist had informed you that you were running short on time and you assured her it was fine. However, she remained professional throughout and did everything possible to ensure you looked your best on your special day. She also said you gave her a generous gratuity. It’s also worth noting that after we received your feedback, we offered to refund your money, which you declined. I have since made her aware of your current review, and she has once again expressed her willingness to refund your payment. She kindly asks that, since she no longer works for my company, any further reviews related to your experience be directed to her business platform. I take client feedback very seriously and strive to provide exceptional service for all of my brides. However, this review seems inconsistent with our previous communication, which makes this situation confusing. If there’s anything you’d like to further discuss or if you feel there are any new issues that need addressing, I’d be happy to speak with you directly. Again, I am very sorry you were not happy.
