About this vendor

L.B’s Cakes is a wedding cake business based in Burlington, NC. Owner Lori got her start in the industry because her sister was expecting a baby, and because there was no time to purchase a fabulous cake for the shower, Lori decided to make it herself! The result was a triumph, and the demand from other family and friends for more delicious cakes and other desserts quickly followed. Lori, of course, was more than happy to oblige! She loved baking and decorating; in 2016, what began out of love and necessity blossomed and turned into a thriving business! Today, Lori and L.B’s Cakes & Creations are better than ever, and Lori can’t wait to discover what the future has in store! L.B’s Cakes & Creations offers a wide range of options, so whether you’re leaning towards a minimalist design or something with lots of detail and color, Lori has you covered! If you’re unsure where to start, that’s okay too! Lori can create a sketch based on your ideas and Pinterest boards, and you can go from there! Contact Lori today to book a consultation and order a tasting kit!

Everything was beautiful and delicious. When we talked to Lori, she was so pleasant. Our only trouble was response time. There were a few instances where we and our wedding planner...

just couldn't a hold of Lori to confirm that we wanted to move forward with her, pick our desserts, and talk cake design. The first time, we gave a pass because she indicated she and her family were sick, but it persisted until we finally locked in the call to confirm. Our venue assured us that she always pulls through, and she did! Everything was amazing day-off. Just a little extra stress for a month or two during planning.

L.B's Cakes & Creations was amazing to work with! From the beginning, Lori was very responsive and easy to work with. We got a tasting kit for the dessert bar and cake tasting kit ...

that we were able to take home and enjoy, we immediately fell in love with ALL of the desserts and it was so hard to narrow it down. The dessert bar and our personal cake were outstanding the day of the wedding! The guests ate all of the desserts so so so quickly because of how outstanding and beautiful everything was! My only regret is not getting enough to feed 200 people so we could have left overs for the whole week LOL, we only had 90 guests attend our wedding! I will be ordering all desserts and cakes through them in the future! Absolutely amazing.

iled the desserts are. Pictures don't do any Justice. You can tell time and attention go in to desserts made and everything is reasonably priced compared to others I've seen. I'll never go anywhere else.
