L.B’s Cakes is a wedding cake business based in Burlington, NC. Owner Lori got her start in the industry because her sister was expecting a baby, and because there was no time to purchase a fabulous cake for the shower, Lori decided to make it herself! The result was a triumph, and the demand from other family and friends for more delicious cakes and other desserts quickly followed. Lori, of course, was more than happy to oblige! She loved baking and decorating; in 2016, what began out of love and necessity blossomed and turned into a thriving business! Today, Lori and L.B’s Cakes & Creations are better than ever, and Lori can’t wait to discover what the future has in store! L.B’s Cakes & Creations offers a wide range of options, so whether you’re leaning towards a minimalist design or something with lots of detail and color, Lori has you covered! L.B's Cakes & Creations was amazing to work with! From the beginning, Lori was very responsive and easy to work with. We got a tasting kit for the dessert bar and cake tasting kit that we were able to take home and enjoy, we immediately fell in love with ALL of the desserts and it was so hard to narrow it down. The dessert bar and our personal cake were outstanding the day of the wedding! The guests ate all of the desserts so so so quickly because of how outstanding and beautiful everything was! My only regret is not getting enough to feed 200 people so we could have left overs for the whole week LOL, we only had 90 guests attend our wedding! I will be ordering all desserts and cakes through them in the future! Absolutely amazing.

Lori is amazing! She goes above and beyond. She truly loves what she does and you can absolutely tell when you meet her. She is the sweetest (no pun intended) person, and always makes sure everything is perfect. I couldn’t recommend her and her desserts enough. Everything is so yummy and aesthetically pleasing.

I was at this event and I saw the most beautiful cake ever. It was literally too pretty to cut into but the best part was the taste. It was so moist and full of flavor, then I find out they do all sorts of events. I’m excited and I’ll definitely be using L.B for all my parties. The first time I've ever used L.B's Cakes & Creations to cater one of my events I was absolutely amazed by how many different desserts options they provide and how beautifully detailed the desserts are. Pictures don't do any Justice. You can tell time and attention go in to desserts made and everything is reasonably priced compared to others I've seen. I'll never go anywhere else.
