Robin's buttercream is delicious and she can make it look as smooth as fondant. We had chocolate, vanilla, and lemon cakes all moist and delicious. Only suggestion is if you are meeting with her more than once keep good notes and save the pictures that are discussed to save time in the next meeting.

Robin from Le Cake designed and made our cake for our June 20th wedding and she was such a pleasure to work with! She was very patient with us when we were describing the design we wanted for our cake. She had so many creative ideas that we hadn't even thought of, which made our cake all the better! Robin's cake was honestly one of the best wedding cakes I have ever seen and tasted. She was truly able to create a cake that went with the vision we had for our wedding! Future brides and grooms- I cannot recommend Le Cake highly enough!!! I was married in Rock Island, Illinois May of 2014, and Robin made beautiful and more importantly delicious cakes for our wedding. She created a Navy Officer crest cake that was chocolate Mocha with a bailey's buttercream icing (groom's cake for the Rehearsal Dinner). For our wedding cake, we went with the vanilla almond and it was THE BEST wedding cake I've ever had. I was so impressed such a classically beautiful cake could taste SO GOOD! Robin was incredibly easy to work with as well, as I planned my wedding from afar. The price includes both the Groom's cake and wedding cake. The last bonus is that Robin gave us a military discount. We would without a doubt go with Le Cake again.

Robin was great to work with. She was very patient and worked with me until we came up with a design that I absolutely loved. It turned out better than I imagined, and most importantly it was delicious!

We went with Le Cake for our wedding, and we were so pleased. Robin has such passion for what she does and it shows! She is very detail-oriented and takes a lot of time with her clients. She listened to what we liked and helped us create our perfect cake. Her cakes are beautiful, but more importantly, they taste wonderful! We did chocolate mocha and red velvet for ours, and we were very pleased. Since our wedding, Le Cake has been our favorite for any special occasion. My family has ordered many cakes for birthdays and even most recently for my baby shower. Even with the smaller cake orders, she still takes great time making them perfect. They have always been wonderful each time. I highly recommend!

We were incredibly happy working with Robin. We had three cake flavors, but my personal favorite for our fall wedding was her spice cake, which was perfectly balanced. The cakes are beautiful, and Robin's talent is best presented in her amazing gum paste flowers. Incredible thought and detail goes into the cakes, and she had great ideas to help us create the cake we wanted. She also let me take home leftover cake samples so I could share them with my dad, who couldn't be at the tasting. Professional and very friendly, she still remembers me two years after my wedding. Our cake was delicious and stunning. I truly cannot recommend Le Cake enough.

I believe the wedding cake makes or breaks the wedding. After the dress ~ the cake is the centerpiece of the wedding. When we met Robin from "Le Cake" she simply stood out from the others we had met. Her style was beyond compare, her cakes are scrumptious and beautiful. Robin is the consummate professional. Her attention to detail made all of the difference. I've been looking and looking at different designs of wedding cakes on The Knot and yes I even took pictures of the cakes I loved just to have a picture to show our cake designer. I went with Le Cake in Davenport. Robin is a great person and her work is so detailed, gorgeous and delicious! She is very easy to talk to and when I showed her what I was looking for she started right away designing it. I just recently got married (September 27, 2014) and my husband and I were just in awe of our wedding cake! Everyone that attended our wedding said our cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted great! We offered 4 different flavors of cake to our guest...chocolate rum, vanilla almond, lemon and red velvet...and by the end of the night...not much cake was left! My husband and I want to thank Le Cake for making our wedding cake and would highly recommend them to anyone!

If you want a beautiful wedding cake that tastes as good as it looks, if you want a cake created by someone who takes pride in their work with an eye for detail.....a decorator who will listen to YOUR ideas as well as offering her own, if you want a cake that your guests will be talking about long after your ceremony........I have 2 words for you: Le Cake! Thanks Robin, for all your hard work, we all appreciated it SO MUCH! By the way, there's no chance that cake topper is making it past my belly and into the freezer for an anniversary : ) AND the girls loved their individual cakes as well, Caitlyn is plowing through hers!

First off, it was a great price. We were going to go with our local grocery store (because of cost), but decided against it because of the taste. It ended up costing almost the same to go with Le Cake, so it was totally worth it in the end. We went to visit Robin and we were sold immediately. I don't have a big sweet tooth, but her cake is delicious!! I had at least a dozen of my wedding guests come find me and comment on the dessert, which is a huge compliment to Robin (note: We went with vanilla almond, her best selling flavor). I had given her a picture of what I wanted and it looked EXACTLY like it, if not better. However, the main reason why I loved having Le Cake as my cake vendor, is that I did not have to worry for a second that it wouldn't go perfectly. Robin is serious about what she does. She expected nothing less than fresh flowers and SHE was to put them on the cake herself. She spent time at the reception hall making sure the cake was put together perfectly before she left. I had complete faith in her because of her incredible work ethic. I would HIGHLY recommend Le Cake for your wedding cake :)

I cannot sing Robin's praises enough!! I was married two years ago and still to this day I recommend Le Cake any chance I get. Not only are her cakes so delicious they are beautiful masterpieces. We met several times to go over the design of the cake, things to include in our dessert table, and to taste test all of her delicious flavors. I loved that we did a dessert table with cupcakes in a variety of flavors because it was too hard to pick just one flavor. Robin was determined to create my vision and make it more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. There is no doubt that our dessert table filled with Le Cake's cupcakes and cookies was the biggest hit for our guests. Robin is simply the best and her talent is truly unique! It was so much fun and such a pleasure to work with her. To put it simply: Nothing else compares to Le Cake!!

Robin truly lives up to the hype with her cakes!! I had previously been to a friends wedding and had to ask where she had gotten her cake, of course it was from Le Cake. When planning my own wedding I knew exactly what I wanted. I had a great experience planning the design and of course taste testing some options. On the wedding day the cake was delicious and beautiful of course and I have had several people ask me since where we got it from as they cannot wait to order a cake for any occasion from Le Cake. Now I can't wait for my one year anniversary so I can get another little taste of this heavenly cake!

Robin was GREAT to work with. Very easy to talk to. She helped me envision my dream wedding cake and it tasted AMAZING! She gave us 5 different samples and they were all delicious- so hard to chose a flavor! Would highly recommend her to anyone.

I worked with Robin for my daughters wedding. She was so patient and was concerned about every detailed. In our world, next to the wedding dress it's all about the cake. We had huge expectations and Robin delivered beyond our wildest dreams. I found a cake from a California wedding picture and Robin actually made it more stunning. It seriously could be in a magazine. I still look at those pictures and smile. Everyone still talks about the cake. Plus, I love wedding cake. It may be one of my favorite foods. Without a doubt Robins cake is the absolutely best cake I have EVER tasted and I've tasted a lot. To have this level of expertise in our area is priceless and unbelievable. Can't wait for my son to get married so we can work with her again. Sometimes I go to her website and just look in amazement at her work. She can create whatever your dream cake is and the best part it taste fabulous. Without a doubt she is the best!

Robin at Le Cake is amazing!! Her work is exception and the cake is literally the most delicious cake on the planet. My husband and I wanted a simple cake but were very specific with our vision. Robin was able to capture what we wanted and made it into the perfect cake and cake design. She has so many different flavors and fillings to choose from it's awesome! We chose classic vanilla almond, chocolate, and red velvet - all buttercream. We got compliments the entire reception on the cake and everyone I talked to said they went back and got seconds! I am still hearing people rave about her cake and I'd definitely agree. Would for sure recommend her hands down to everyone!

Robin does awesome awesome work! Our 4 tiered wedding cake was beautiful and the cake tasted delicious!! We never ran out of cake either with a 300 guest wedding! Highly recommend!

Robin makes the BEST wedding cakes hands down! We honestly believe that was the best wedding cake we have ever had. We went with the vanilla almond for 2 layers and the other two were lemon cake with raspberry filling. I am glad we ordered such a large cake because we were told after the wedding that many people had two pieces because they liked it so much! I also like that we didn't have to keep the top layer of our cake for our anniversary, she is going to make us a fresh one in a year! The only thing that was difficult was that we had to order all of the jewels for the cake even though she showed us exactly which one to get, it couldn't just be added to our price of the cake. This was only an issue because we live 45 minutes away from Le Cake so having to take a trip just to drop off the jewel bands was a little inconvenient. Other than that everything was wonderful. We loved the look of it and are excited for our one year when we can really enjoy the cake instead of having to quickly eat a piece before everyone went back for seconds!

Bonnie at Le Cake might seem a little... frazzled if you call her. But don't let that stop you. She makes THE BEST cakes! All the flavors are delicious. We came to her with no idea of what we wanted and about an hour later we designed a beautiful cake. She'll let you have cupcakes as samples of any flavor you want, just give her a week or two notice. We asked for four flavors to try, thinking we'd get four cupcakes, and ended up with 15 cupcakes and an extra flavor she thought we'd like! Our cake was beautiful and full of flavor.

We LOVED our wedding cake from Robin. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it tasted great. We went with vanilla almond and it was so good! My only thing I would have done instead was to go with buttercream frosting instead. The fondant ended up being a little too thick for my tastes, but the cake looked awesome, which is what fondant does! Robin is a wonderful person to work with and her cakes will not dissapoint!

We went with vanilla almond and chocolate rum. It was the most moist and delicious cake my husband and I have ever had!

I found Robin's business, Le Cake online through theknot.com. She was highly highly recommended and when I visited her facebook page, she had the most BEAUTIFUL cakes I have ever seen. We had a picture of what we wanted from a magazine and we worked with Robin to get the cake. She did such a wonderful and amazing job. She did exactly what we wanted and it was such a beautiful cake. We had endless comments on it's presentation and the taste! Definitely look into Robin at Le Cake, especially if you're interested in a fondant cake!

Le cake in Davenport, IA is a wonderful Wedding Vendor. The cake is magical and she has such a variety. I could not believe how good the cake was when we went for the tasting. It was amazing she saw our vision and knew what we wanted.

Robin did the cupcakes for our wedding and they were fantastic- we got so many positive comments and guests who were staying at the hotel we had the reception but not in the wedding actually came in at the end of the night and asked to try the cupcakes because people were raving about them in the hallways and lobby bathrooms. We had four flavors and vanilla almond and red velvet were the biggest hits! The chocolate rum was okay and the spice was my least favorite. Robin worked with our colors and theme and even has a cake stand you can rent for the occasion. I highly recommend Robin and Le Cake!
