Le Meridien Delfina Santa Monica

Everything from the food, to the wedding coordinator, to the dance floor made for an extraordinary wedding. The complementary bridal room had a jazucci on the balcony. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone’s big day.

The Sheraton Delfina was a dream place to hold our reception. Not only are the views from the top floor amazing and the interior design perfectly matched our wedding colors, but the food was OUTSTANDING (we received tons of compliments from our guests) and the service we received from Marion Yip and her staff was TOP NOTCH! Marion helped us through every step of the process and really worked well with our florist and lighting vendor to set the perfect look for our reception. We had a day-of coordinator and DJ/MC and she and her staff worked seamlessly with them. The hotel itself was really accommodating with all of our requests and overall our guests were really impressed with everything about the venue. The best part is that it's only a few blocks off of Ocean Ave., so you get the same great views (and we even did pictures down on the beach during the cocktail hour) for a fraction of the cost! I would recommend the Sheraton Delfina to anyone looking to have an elegant Santa Monica wedding!

The Sheraton Delfina is a beautiful hotel with the interiors designed by Kelly Wearstler. It's contemporary yet elegant. The ballroom is located on the penthouse of the hotel which as views of the city of Santa Monica and the ocean. Who could beat that?!? Besides the great location as there were others that were equally as beautiful and some even more beautiful the biggest draw for me was that their wedding package had everything worked into it and if there was one thing I wanted and another thing I didn't want in the package it was swapped out. There were no upcharges for anything (ie valet parking cake cutting covered chairs etc.). So it was a great stress relief to know that my only unknown with how much I was going to end up paying with this hotel was based on the number of guests attending. Another bonus was their Starwood Preferred Guest program. For the money I spent I received points which I was able to later redeem for hotel stays at any Starwood hotel around the world (we stayed in Bali). Basically great decor good food great deal plus points towards our honeymoon hotel. What more could you ask for?;Richard the Event Manager is a really nice guy but is the typical salesman. Knows what to say and seems to be a wheeler-dealer. But at the same time he stood by his word so it's not completely a negative. The hotel is about 4 blocks from the beach but it's too far to walk and so you might have to rent a car to get the wedding party to the beach for any pics. It was too difficult for us so we just stayed at the hotel. Also we had thought about holding the ceremony at the pool so that we had part of the wedding outdoors and another part indoors but it didn't really work out. The pool area layout is not really that conducive for a wedding. So basically there are really not a lot of good outdoor spaces for pictures although we did get some good ones out by the pool but that's all the outdoor pictures we had. But at least I didn't end up with the stress of weather.
