*HOTEL BLOCK ONLY*
We ran into a few glitches during the two-year planning process leading up to our big day but when our wedding weekend finally came, Le Meridien treated us like...
royalty!
When we were originally brought on a tour of the newly renovated rooms, the staff member that brought us through told us the best floors to stay on and the best rooms to stay in so when we booked our hotel block, we requested those rooms and they obliged!
We dropped off the gift bags for our guests the day before they were due to arrive. Our calligrapher addressed them for us because we had different things in different bags. We let the staff know and they gladly handed each guest their specific bag without any complaints.
In addition to doing a first look with my Dad, I wanted to do a first look with my bridesmaids as well. No one had seen my dress before our wedding day aside from my Mom. My wedding gown is GINORMOUS and could not be hidden in a closet so I spoke to a manager ahead of our wedding day to see if I could put it in the room my Dad would be staying in the following day this way no one would see it. They worked something out and on the day we arrived, a staff member assured me that he would be locking it in the manager's office. Think it's crazy that I let it out of my sight? Probably a little but I took the risk and it went off without a hitch! He helped hide it from my husband that was already there and everyone else that was soon to arrive the next day.
The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. We were given the rooms we were promised and were put on separate floors. We both had a nice view of the city. They completely flipped the rooms on our wedding day once we left for the ceremony so they were brand new upon our return; my husband switched to my suite and my Mom went down to his.
As more people in our bridal party started to arrive the morning of our wedding, the staff helped to get all of them into their rooms early so they would be all set prior to leaving for the ceremony.
They provided clear signage to guide our guests to the trolley at the appropriate times to ensure they would arrive at our reception on time.
They made accommodations for my sister-in-law when she had a travel emergency trying to get to Philly from Texas.
We received special rates because of the amount of rooms we booked which was nice.
They told us the bartenders get excited when they have wedding parties. The bartender didn't seem very excited but he wasn't about to mess up my wedding day vibes. lol.
The morning of our brunch, the Study was set up with flowers from our wedding reception which looked very nice. There were attendants keeping track of our guests. The food was delicious, they made sure everything stayed full and our guests enjoyed mingling. When the room began to overflow, they set up extra tables just outside of the Study.
Le Meridien has a cool, modern vibe with a gorgeous view of City Hall that perfectly suits my husband and I and it was the PERFECT choice of hotels for our room block!
Everything was seamless as we checked out. They gave us a little bit later of a checkout time. The staff was extremely kind to my husband, my Mom and I. They chatted with us about the wedding and they helped us load everything into our cars when it was time for our departure.
The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding weekend was perfect and we can not thank them enough.
Had an absolutely amazing experience with Le Meridien. We had a really small wedding (20 guests) and didn’t have a room block and they treated us like royalty! Everyone that we wor...
ked with was very responsive and willing to help us with any issues we had. They really were able to put our minds at ease and decrease our stress levels. Would highly recommend!
We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Le Meridien in the Abele Library which was the perfect room for the 75 people that we had attending. It is a comfortable room with a romantic char...
m and a great view of city hall with fire places on either side of the room. While we searched for a venue to host our rehearsal dinner, it was apparent that Kelley wanted to make the night as we envisioned it. She is so easy to work with and incredibly helpful throughout the process. She is reasonable and genuine in her thoughts and responses. The rehearsal dinner went very well. The room is narrow but was set up in an efficient way. The staff was polite and professional. The entrée (a short rib and halibut duet) was delicious. Kelley and the rest of the staff kept the night moving along at a comfortable pace. Overall, it was the perfect rehearsal dinner experience.
We used Le Meridien for our hotel room block and getting ready location, NOT for our actual wedding ceremony/reception venue. Perhaps this is why we received such poor service from...
them. They caused me headaches throughout the entire wedding planning process, and this is the only vendor I regret using. The things they did correctly: the rooms and building are historic and attractive, the location is hard to beat for a center city wedding. Things they did incorrectly: pretty much everything else. Their room block coordinator Sarah NEVER responded to my emails promptly; in fact, I had to double and even triple email her multiple times to get a response, and I found out that SOMETIMES she would respond within ONE week if I CC'd her supervisor. (Is that crazy to ask for a shorter turn around time than one week?!) They messed up the room reservations so badly that some guests were sent across the street to a sister hotel because their reservation was "lost," and I got a follow up email from Sarah a few weeks after our wedding requesting for guest contact information because THEY FORGOT TO CHARGE THE GUESTS UPON CHECK OUT. The woman checking my parents out asked my mom how much they should charge her for the multiple rooms my parents paid for because she couldn't understand how to read the room reservation list. Finally, my group is pretty accommodating and generous, but it was highly unprofessional (and annoying) to constantly hear how busy the hotel was because of the three weddings they booked for themselves that weekend. It would've been the right and professional thing to have turned a group away before all three wedding groups signed a contract.
As cliche as it sounds, I had my dream wedding here this past December! I have to say the venue itself served as a staple for our wedding pictures, absolutely breathtaking! We chos...
e the venue because it did not need much decor, and with a few accent pieces, not only did it save us tons on decoration costs, but it looked like a winter wonderland. Luckily, the Wedding Coordinator had added a few holiday pieces of decor which added to our holiday theme. Besides, the venue itself the staff was amazing all the way leading up to the event and the day of. Even the guests ranted about the service provided. Kelley Manslanka, the wedding coordinator was extremely responsive and very attentive to our requests and any last minute changes. She made sure we had a flawless event and ensured that every detailed was accounted for. You cannot go wrong with having your event here. The food was impeccable, the service was amazing, and affordable. I wish I could do it all over again. Thank you Kelley and the staff for giving us the best experience and our dream wedding!

ilding is stunning and offers 3 unique spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour, and he reception. The food was delicious and the staff from front desk to reception were friendly and accommodating! Kelley M was our event coordinator and she was extremely organized and availabile! Everything was set up perfectly and I had no stress or worry! It was the most perfect day!!
My reception and hotel block were at Le Meridien on 11/12/16. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Our guests loved the Library Room and I suggest all future Philade...

Kelly Kibbat was brand new to the facility and the event the week of my wedding and took control of the entire event, kept us smiling, put out small wedding weekend fires and was all around fantastic.
The venue was beautiful and was the staff was great. They anticipated our needs and every contact we had with them from the planning to the actual wedding was just what any bride ...

rary. What really solidified us booking with Le Meridien was their events coordinator, Amanda Chrin. Amanda’s follow up was outstanding! Every phone call and email was answered in a timely manner. Her knowledge and experience helped us plan our perfect day and without her constant communication, I’m not sure we would have booked the venue for our wedding in the first place. We had many out of towners so the hotel was the perfect location, right in the heart of downtown. This made our pictures with our photographer somewhat easy because of the walkability to everything. All of the planning we did and all of the times we met with the staff was amazing. All of the hotel employees were always friendly and remembered us. Even the valet parking staff! During our tasting, the chef came out to speak with us to make sure everything was to our liking. The food was great, and they were incredibly kind and accommodating. All of the meat dishes were amazing, but beyond that, so was the vegetarian dish. Sonny the hotel chef is incredible! He is beyond friendly and even came out to say hi to us on the night of our wedding. Everyone raved about the food. It was delicious! We are still receiving compliments on our wedding and how great everything was. It was a beautiful day and we are extremely happy we got married at Le Meridien. We really wouldn’t have changed anything.
My wife and I got married at Le Meridien Philadelphia on Halloween, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice in venue. The hotel is gorgeous, from the main lobby, to the rooms, t...
o the reception hall where we got married, the library where we had our cocktail hour, and the atrium where we had our first look and our breakfast the next morning. We received so many compliments on the hotel from all of our guests.
Our wedding coordinator Kim was tough to get ahold of at times (it seems there are a lot of events going on), but when we met with her, she was always on top of everything and a pleasure to work with. Billing likewise was tricky at times; it seemed to go through a parent company, and several of our payments did not go through when they were supposed to, but once again, in the end, all of the payments were accepted, and we weren’t penalized in any way. Also, difficulties aside, it was very nice to be able to make the payments by credit card.
During our tasting, the chefs came out to speak with us to make sure everything was to our liking. The food was great, and they were incredibly kind and accommodating. All of the meat dishes were amazing, but beyond that, so was the vegetarian dish. The chef explained that he had grown up as a vegetarian, and still cooked that way for his family. So instead of being a neglected throwaway meal, the vegetarian dish was made with the same attention and skill as the meat dishes, which was a welcome change of pace for our vegetarian guests. After the tasting, I informed Kim of some allergies my nephew had. She went back and forth with us several times and with the chef to make sure that the kids meal would be alright for him to eat, which was a huge help. And once again, the chef took steps to make it not only edible but enjoyable.
On the weekend of our wedding, we were taken care of from start to finish. The bridal suite had makeup chairs waiting when we got there for hair and makeup the next day. On the day of the wedding, both Kim and Adam (the Banquet Manager) were supportive and took great care of us. They were both genuinely excited for our weekend, and made sure we had everything we needed. Adam was even at our breakfast on Sunday morning to make sure we were all set and to wish us well.
We had the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception in Le Meridien, and they all flowed perfectly from one to the other. Despite being in the same reception hall, the wedding and reception felt like two totally different spaces. And out in the lobby, all of the small details we requested were taken care of, such as the placement of the favors and the guestbook. Kim even worked with the bride’s father to set up a surprise he had put together outside the reception hall.
We’re still receiving compliments on the wedding, and how great everything was. It was a beautiful day, and we’re extremely happy we got married at Le Meridien.
we got married at Le Meridien in Philadelphia. What an absouletly beautiful hotel. The decor in this venue is absouletly breaktaking. The staff there was very attentive the entire ...
night and anything my husband or i needed we had within in secounds. Their customer service is amazing. We had some hiccups with billing which was later cleared up. (weeks after the wedding...) we were suppose to have our honeymoon suite comped the night of the wedding which was in our contract but we ended up getting charged which they later refunded after hounding them to refund our card. We also were over charged for the reception, which was just refunded today... and i am talking about 1000's of dollars. Again, we were refunded, but i feel like i ahd to keep requesting it over and over again. I think due to the fact that my wedding coordinater i had delt with for over a year was let go a month and a half before my wedding had a lot to do with it. But everything did come together and i was very pleased with how everything panned out. Its a beautiful venue and the food was amazing as well. I would recommend this hotel but just makes sure you watch what they charge you. Make sure that you do not get over charged.
We had our dream wedding here at the Le Meridien Philadelphia. It is the perfect location for a chic city wedding in the heart of downtown, walking distance to so many great Philly...
destinations. What made our wedding extra special was the highly attentive hotel staff - they were in tune with our every want and need and made each of our guests feel like VIP's. Our Catering Sales Manager Amanda C. worked with us on every detail of the wedding to make sure it was just flawless. I highly recommend a Winter Wedding for any brave bride who wants magical and cinematic wedding photos in the snow. And to me, the best hotel in the city to compliment that is the warm and sophisticated Le Meridien Philadelphia.
There aren't enough words to describe the amazing Le Meridien and event coordinator Amanda Chrin. Amanda was nothing short of fantastic from the first day I met with her. She was w...
arm, welcoming and supportive every step of the way. Her organization and experience helped us plan our perfect day and I have no doubt, that without her, it wouldn't have been possible. Everything surrounding our wedding was perfect. The venue is gorgeous, the staff is attentive and the food delicious. Amanda and Le Meridien made our wedding everything that we dreamed of and more. I honestly cannot recommend them enough. If you want a picture perfect wedding in the heart of the city, look no further.
We cannot say enough good things about Le Meridien Philadelphia. From our event planner, to the front staff to the event staff-- all were wonderful and nice to work with and treat...
ed us like we were their only wedding couple!
Let's start with the location: urban, historical, fun and hip.
The food: delicious, like actually delicious wedding food. Who ever raves (and hears their family and friends rave) about the food at their wedding? The cake we chose was excellent and our entrees, appetizers and signature drink were amazing. We can't wait to go back and eat at Amuse, their restaurant.
The venue itself is beautiful, with cool tones that go with any flowers you choose. At night, the bar is a casual place to hang out with your wedding party and guests. By day, it's a lovely place for your family members from out of town to gather and catch up.
Our event planner worked with us every step of the way, provided guidance and was often times the calm in a storm of wedding planning! She collaborated seamlessly with our other vendors/partners and ensured our wedding went off without a hitch.
Le Meridien Philadelphia is a hidden away gem that you must visit... and if you're lucky enough, get married there!
We just got married at the beginning of November and I can't speak highly enough of Le Meridien. My husband and I don't live in Philadelphia, so trying to plan a wedding from a far...
was a bit tricky. But, the staff at Le Meridien was extremely helpful/openminded/dependable throughout the entire process.
We had our "first look," ceremony and reception at the hotel and everything was perfect. They have a great list of trustworthy vendors that they do business with on a regular basis which was very nice to have. The ballroom is absolutely stunning, too! So, there wasn't much decoration required.
I highly recommend this hotel as a venue for your wedding ceremony, reception or even just hotel of choice!
This hotel is beautiful and made a great backdrop for our pictures. THe staff is great and respectful

that, but the awesome night more than made up for it. Their catering manager Adam (I think?) is spectacular and always on his toes! The food was wonderful...although I barel got it eat!

ke photos here before our evening wedding at another venue. I was told by the events coordinator that the 5th floor atrium was public space and that we wouldn't get kicked out for taking photos there. Well, at 4:30 when we were taking photos there, they began setting up the cocktail hour of the other wedding, which I was not aware of, nor told, and we were kicked out....for having so many of my out of town guests staying there, I would think the coordinator could have either told me which times we could take photos here or at the very least, let me know that the 5th floor is not public space! Very annoyed!
Le Meridien was a beautiful place to have my wedding. It was not your typical "hotel ballroom" look. The hotel is an old YMCA and they kept all the original woodwork. You can see C...
ity Hall thru the window of the library (where cocktail hour was held) and the location is excellent.
The Le Meridien staff was very attentive and always friendly. They were patient with my long list of questions and they made sure every detail was taken care of. There was always a staff member available when needed.
The food is to die for! I've never been to a wedding with tastier food. Also, the food served on our wedding day, tasted exactly like what was served at our tasting. This doesn't usually happen when food is being made in mass quantities.
