Le Petit Sweet was very accommodating to us for our tasting since we were a destination wedding and our time doing wedding things were limited to our visits made to the area, the tasting went so smoothly and they truly made it hard to narrow down to only 3 flavors since all of them tasted great. ar there was, but trust me i would remember someone calling me and telling me the cake was going to be fake), and not included in any signed contract. It's been months, multiple emails, and all they can say is sorry, it's not their fault.

I am genuinely sorry that you were disappointed with our bakery service. I am at a loss for words and understanding what happened. I remember contacting you prior to the wedding I believe about two or three weeks via phone to tell y...
ou that I was in a dangerous stage in my pregnancy and there was a good chance I would be in the hospital during your wedding giving birth (a month earlier than anticipated) And that you had some options , one being canceling the three tier cake with us and doing a single tier and adding more desserts or we could do a dummy cake but sheet cakes in the back and keep the dessert table as well. We wanted these options because my assistant Baker was not fully comfortable with the size and style of the wedding cake you chose. So the days before I went into the hospital to be induced I made a dummy version of the exact cake that you ordered. On the day of the wedding that dummy cake along with a dessert table and cake stands and three cakes that were the exact flavors of the original cake you ordered to be served out of the kitchen were all delivered. So there was enough cake to feed all your guests plus the dessert table plus a cake that looked exactly like the cake that you had ordered. I was in fact in recovery from an emergency C-section with my three day old son the day that your wedding took place . My assistant delivered everything sent me the photos and said that all went well. The next day she told me that you returned the stands and we’re very upset because of the hidden cakes and no one could find the cakes when it came time to cut the cake. I don’t know what happened in the kitchen but our staff delivered those cakes to the catering stuff so the catering stuff was in control and knew where those cakes were when it came time for them to cut them. That was the last that I heard of the situation as again I was in the hospital in recovery and wasn’t in the right mindset to deal with an upset bride . You did email to complain one more time and my staff apologized for the misunderstanding but told you that we had communicated about this possibility and we fulfilled our contract and that we did not see it necessary to offer you a refund which is what you wanted. I do understand your frustration if perhaps you did not fully expect the dummy for some reason, but to say that people are “taking a risk” by using us when we delivered something 99% what you ordered while I was in hospital

I’m craving them all just thinking about it. We had a destination wedding so every single time we visited the area, we had to get a couple treats. Now everyone at our wedding does the same thing. I have yet to taste something that isn’t absolutely incredible. Not to mention working with them to design our cake was a treat too. We struggled to put into words what we wanted but the drawing we were shown was spot on and then even more beautiful than we imagined in person.

Originally we were expecting between 80-90 people but when COVID hit and my numbers decreased, Le Petit Sweet worked with us to make sure we had the exact amount we needed. On the day of the wedding, they flawlessly set up the dessert table and provided all of the cake stands which was such a perk. Our two-tier naked, geo cake was a HUGE success and all of my guests commented on how amazing the hazelnut crunch cake and desserts were! We only had a few left at the end of the night which says quite a bit, and my family and I finished off the wedding cake throughout the next week. The shop is a cute little bakery with a homey feel and is a nice place to stop for coffee and a quick treat while walking around downtown Mt. Dora. The cake tasting blew me away with how good all of the cakes were. I was offered 5 choices of flavors to try and all of them were delicious. During the tasting Brittany understood my vision for my cake immediately and offered helpful suggestions on presentation and quantity. We ended up with a 3-tier cake for our ~85 guests with each tier being a different favor. My husband and I chose Vanilla Rum, Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch, and Coconut Tres Leches. At the end of my reception, people were fighting to take cake home. Awesome cake and awesome experience!

For our wedding we decided to do a small-ish cake with several other desserts (macaroons, mini key-lime pies, and vanilla creme puffs). Our cake was 3 layers (vanilla, red-velvet, and coconut tres leches). EVERY. SINGLE. BITE. WAS. PERFECTION. I received so many compliments on our deserts and cake! I can also say first hand that all the items turned out delicious--no, I was not the bride that forgot to eat her own wedding cake! I tried a bit of every item we ordered from Le Petit, and I would recommend it to everyone!
I should also note that Brittany was very reasonable and accomodating for set-up and deliver of our desserts! She even has display trays/stands that she can provide if needed.
You will not be disappointed if you hire Le Petit Sweet. They have outstanding customer service and even better food!

one I originally chose. Brittany is thoughtful in her designs, she listens well to your preferences and makes you feel a part of the process. You can tell she takes great pride in her work. Everything, and I mean everything in her store tastes phenomenal. So after we selected the cake I wanted, I decided to try some macarons. And what a mistake because I fell in love. I immediately knew that those little gems had to be incorporated into our wedding as favors. So we designed some macarons in our color scheme. She even allowed us to choose the box color off of the box vendor's website. Everything looked exquisite and tasted divine! We had cake to spare (which we packaged up and ate later) and some people didn't grab their favors so we ate those too LOL!!! My only issue was that the box for our top tier wasn't the right size so it got a little squished. But we're just going to eat it anyways so it's not a big deal. So if you're using Mission Inn Resort & Club as your venue, or happen to be anywhere near Mount Dora, FL you have to check out her shop!

bly flexible to fit in with my schedule. She came to my apartment and brought 8 or 10 cupcake samples of what she could do for the wedding cake. She also brought a photo book to get an idea of what look we were going for. All her samples were delicious. The cake was moist and so yummy. My husband loved the fact that she left the extra cupcakes for us to have. We ended up going with 2 flavors for our cake: a rich chocolate cake with a raspberry buttercream (so light and creamy) and a vanilla pound cake with a Key Lime pie buttercream (a nod to our Miami surroundings).
Brittany took the ideas I told her about and drew 3 sketches, all of which were wonderful and a perfect fit to the look I was going for. She responded to every email and question promptly, which I found to be so important to me, especially being an out-of-town bride. I knew she would have everything set for the day of the wedding. We had 170 guests and our costs were very low. The cake on the day of the wedding was just as good as the samples we tried. Sometimes you can get wedding cake in which the fondant is really gross and think. That was not the case with our cake at all! it was perfect!
