Taylor did the hair and makeup for me and two members of my bridal party and we all loved working with her! She was efficient and meticulous and clearly communicated what products ...
she was using and checked in with me throughout the process to make sure we were on the same page. She followed my references with some adjustments perfectly and I was so happy with the final look - plus, both my hair and makeup held up all day, through plenty of (happy) tears and dancing!
Trusting someone with how you will look on your wedding day is no easy decision, so I am beyond grateful Le Shag was there for me on my wedding day. I worked with Mikaela for my ha...
ir and all makeup and Taylor worked with the rest of my party. I felt like the most beautiful version of myself. The makeup and hair lasted the entire day and from the trial to the big day was even better as Mikaela got to know me and what worked for me. Considering driving up to their salon for haircuts in the future, because honestly seems worth it.
I booked Le Shag to do the hair and makeup for my wedding on site at Full Moon Resort. They did an amazing job on me, my 5 bridesmaids, my two SILs, both mothers and all four of my...
flower girls.
It was a wonderful experience! Everyone was really happy with how they looked, they worked with my mother who has sensitivity to certain products to ensure that she was comfortable, when my SIL asked them to make some changes to her hair because she wasn't 100% happy, it was done happily and quickly. Even more amazingly, they kept on schedule!! My photographer commented that he had never seen such a large group be finished on time with such high quality of work.
We loved working with le shag for hair and makeup for myself and our bridal party for our wedding at Full Moon Resort. They did fantastic work quickly and our whole family was real...
ly thrilled with the results. Even my 4 year old niece was in love with their work!!
The girls at Le Shag were amazing for our wedding! 9 bridesmaids, a flower girl, 2 grandmas, my mom, and I all got our hair and/or makeup done there the morning-of. Starting at 9am...
, they got everyone done by 1pm! We literally took over the entire salon, played our music, had food and beverages, and brought our dresses to get ready. The salon is gorgeous and made for picture-perfect getting ready shots (the lighting is amazing). My bridesmaids even decided to get updos at the last minute (even though I told them we were only doing blowout and curls) and it was no problem at all for them. Everyone looked gorgeous all night! Illyssa set everything up and she was so helpful and accommodating. If you are getting married in Kingston, NY - DEFINITELY use Le Shag!
I had the pleasure of harassing the Le Shag Kingston team my entire wedding weekend. They put up with me on Thursday - when I had my hair and makeup trial (very last minute I know)...
, Friday - when I had a blow out for the rehearsal dinner, and Saturday - when they did my entire bridal party's hair and makeup. Not once was anyone disappointed! First off, the salon is so chic, and right in the heart of Kingston. Norman that set up everything was fabulous and so kind! My appointments were on time, the artists and stylists disturbingly talented, and everyone made me feel at ease at a time that can feel overwhelmingly chaotic.
One my wedding day the Le Shag team arrived at my venue before they were expected, and with smiles on their faces. The ladies got right to work! They made my friends and family feel comfortable, special, and so pampered. Their makeup and hair was sleek, modern, and with that subtle 'something special.' It was so refreshing to have talent that understood no one wanted to look like a cake face.
So...book them! There aren't enough kind words I can think of. You won't regret it!
Cannot say enough wonderful things about the artist of Le Shag. They love weddings and they love others who love weddings!!!! They are incredible at both Hair and Makeup and love t...
o support the bride they are working with in anything that she needs. They use a lot of Face Stockholm Makeup mixing in a few other staples from laura mercie, mac, etc. They are fast and lovely energy to have next to you on such an important day.
I live over two hours away from my wedding venue. I booked with Le Shag on recommendation, no trial. I was very nervous going into it but the service I received was out of this w...
