My photography style is joyful, bright and true to you. I will do anything to make you laugh (laffy taffy jokes are a standard) and I promise I won’t make you pose in uncomfortable positions . . . unless they make you really ridiculously good looking.
I make it simple for you, keep it light, and focus on the precious candid moments that naturally occur between two people who are madly in love. For our engagement shoot, Leah took time to understand our vision and suggested beautiful locations that captured our personalities perfectly. The photos turned out beautifully! I have never seen a golden hour shoot done so well!
Leading up to the wedding day, Leah provided honest and needed feedback on realistic expectations surrounding the timeline of the day to ensure we were able to capture what we wanted but also be in the moment on our special day. She also lined up an amazing second photographer, Krista Esterling, who was fabulous to work with!
On our wedding day, Leah was nothing short of amazing! She was so prepared, organized and on top of capturing everything on our “photo wish list.” She blended seamlessly into the background while capturing every precious moment! Leah offered direction when needed, was wonderful working with photographing little kids and made sure that we were staying on track of a very structured timeline. Because of this, we felt like we were able to enjoy every moment, knowing that our special day was in great heads! Her attention to detail and creative eye truly shown through in the images, and the candid shots of our guests enjoying the day were some of our favorites to look through!

over a period of 3 years. We worked with Leah for our engagement shoot in 2019 and she immediately put us at ease. We had a blast, and the photos were beautiful and captured our personalities in the best way. We had to cancel our original wedding plans due to COVID, and Leah was super flexible and understanding. She shot our small backyard ceremony in September 2020, and then shot our reception in May 2021. I can now say from experience that Leah does a fantastic job in any setting -- engagement shoot, small ceremony, and big reception. She was especially great with the kids at our wedding, which can be challenging! Leah has tons of experience and is a total professional. She is exactly the kind of person you want to have by your side on your wedding day to put you at ease because she has seen it all.
On top of being a great person to work with, her photos are stunning. I knew that I wanted photos that wouldn't be over-edited or hyper-posed. I wanted to be able to look back at my wedding photos and see me and my husband at our best, and that is what Leah delivered. She does such a great job of capturing genuine moments of joy. We used her for our wedding and engagement photos and I can’t imagine having worked with anyone else or working with anyone else in the future. Not only was she taking great shots all day, she was taking time to make sure no piece of my hair was out of place and adjusting groomsmen boutonnières throughout the day. She kept me more in the loop with what was next, what to expect, and what needed to be done throughout the day than my planner had. I don’t know what I would have done without her. She made us a plate of apps at the beginning of our reception so we could focus on saying hello to everyone. She truly goes above and beyond. Her willingness to serve us as a couple was unmatched by any other vendor we worked with. She exceeded all expectations we had.

I was looking at one of the friend's wedding galleries shot by Leah, and I fell in love with her style - the editing, the candid shots that didn't feel posed, etc. Leah captured our relationship and our wedding day so perfectly! We received over 1200 photos back, and I love every single one. Leah captured ALL the emotions of our day - some of my favorite shots are the ones she got of me hugging each of my grandparents, and I will treasure them forever! Leah has also done a family shoot for us, and we will continue to hire her every chance we get. Her personality, ability to gracefully direct family members for photos, etc. made our experience that much better. We highly recommend Leah!
