It was evident that she is very personable, had the right equipment and knowledge of how to use it, and is very passionate about her job. All of the 5 star reviews we saw on Wedding Wire affirmed our good feelings so we booked her. She is very organized and provided us with a helpful worksheet regarding our guest list, must-have photos, and other logistics. This was beneficial for both of us. On our wedding day, Leah and her assistant arrived punctually (alittle early in fact) and they got right to work, capturing some of the most gorgeous wedding photos I have ever seen. When it comes to picking favorites, we can't! They are all so perfect and unique and tell the story of our very beautiful and happy wedding day. We look at them everyday together. We are just so lucky to have such incredible photos it's hard to believe they're ours! Something we really appreciated was that she does not pose you. She does not pull you out of your wedding to say, hey we need to go get this shot outside in this light. In fact, you don't even realize she and her assistant are there, but they are, they are actively capturing every little detail and smile. She's a very talented photojournalist. In terms of value, Leah is worth it! Blogs for budget brides insist you can cut out the professional photographer because really everyone has a camera these days, so why pay for photos? Well I almost took that advice, but I'm glad I didn't for two reasons. One, after the last guest has left all you're going to have is your photos and/or video to help you remember your day so you definitely don't want to skimp on the photos! Using a professional ensures you have all the photos you want and two, that those photos will be high quality. The quality of our photos by Leah is incredible when compared to the photos our friends and family took. And like I said, she knows how to use her equipment to get the best shot in whatever lighting or weather conditions you have at your wedding (daylight, evening, rain, etc). And compared to other wedding packages we looked at, Leah in fact provided the best value. All of her packages include a second photographer and flash drive with all the images. We are so thankful we chose Leah and highly recommend her! Thanks again Leah!

She had both excellent photographs and a great personality that made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We had a really fun engagement photo shoot in Harvard Square and the pictures came out amazing. For the wedding, she really captured the spirit of the wedding including the colors of the reception décor, the fun of having lots of children in our ceremony and at the reception, and the overall joy of the wedding ceremony and reception. We loved working with her, and we LOVE our photos!
