I think I nearly gave her a heart attack when I got tunnel vision and put on my dress without her there to capture the moment (and my bridesmaids’ reactions), but Leah barely blinked. My husband and I opted to have a second photographer and we were equally thrilled with Leah’s associate, Paola. Multiple friends and family members have commented to me how lovely and professional both Leah and Paola were. Our wedding was a dream and I’m so glad I get to relive every special moment through the beautiful photos we have of it!

Her smile never faded and her husband is just as charming. Our photos are beautiful and somehow she was able to capture it all. Like I said, simply the best!

We wanted lots of cocktail hour photos of guests mingling (rather than dancing candids) and even though I hardly noticed Leah there, she got tons of AMAZING shots that captured the fun and joy of the day. Seeing our wedding photos a few weeks later totally brought us back to the day! Each one captures a special moment or person(s) or interaction. Leah has a expert eye and such artistry in the shots she took. We had some formal shots done at the monuments and they are spectacular! Summary: Leah does BEAUTIFUL photography work and is a JOY to work with on your special day!!

As a bride who planned a 200+ Hindu/American fusion wedding by myself (ie. no wedding coordinator), Leah was one of the most polished and easy to communicate with vendors that we worked with. We knew we were in great hands with her, and that kind of peace of mind is truly priceless! For our engagement photos, we drove out to Shenandoah National Park. Since it was fall, we were hoping to capture some beautiful foliage in our pictures. Unfortunately, the day was incredibly foggy and misty, but that did not deter Leah one bit! She made the best of the situation and had wonderful suggestions on how to work WITH the weather instead of against it. We absolutely treasure our engagement photos from that day as she was able to beautifully capture the mist and fog in the background of our pictures, creating photos that truly look like they were pulled from a movie! Since we had a Hindu/American fusion wedding (my husband is Indian), we held a special ceremony two days before the wedding called a "Sangeet & Mendhi." The 1.5 hour ceremony was full of beautiful Indian traditions for the bride & groom, and it unfolded organically in a chaotic but beautiful manner. We were so happy that Leah was there to capture it all! She was completely unfazed by the chaos and did an amazing job honing in on all the special moments. On the day of the wedding, Leah was a kind, solid, and organized presence. For an anxious person like me, Leah's warm personality acted as a beacon of calm. We're thrilled with the photos she took and truly hope to have the opportunity to work with her again!

Guys, her work is flawless - she got all the "stock" photos but also managed to capture unique, fun, intimate moments (without us even knowing!) that made us SO happy. (Her day-of assistant was also amazing and caught GREAT shots.) Second, she is the sweetest, warmest, most sincere/likable person ever - this is really important since you spend most of your wedding day with her flying about you!! We thoroughly enjoyed being around Leah and working with her. Bottom line: we really cannot recommend Leah enough if you are having a wedding in DC! She is incredible!! (Also, protip: we found the engagement photo session to be (1) beautiful and (2) extremely helpful because we could give feedback on what we liked/disliked. Plus she got the photos back in like under 48 hours. AMAZING!)

her friends provided the pies for our wedding, and instead of having to coordinate getting the pies to our caterer, Leah graciously offered to transport them for us....no charge. Leah even came with me to meet the caterers at our venue to do a site visit (normally this wouldn't be a huge deal..but it truly was since it was a 1.5-hour drive each way). On the day-of, she kept everyone calm and organized. She was efficient with the small time window we had for each portion of photography. I loved having her as our photographer!
