We are so glad that we chose Leah as our photographer for our wedding at the Howard County Conservancy in Maryland. She helped us capture our wedding memories. She caught sweet can...
did moments and organized beautiful group photos. We felt so comfortable working with Leah throughout the wedding process. She was quick to respond and ready to lend advice. She was professional and kind. She is also LGBTQ friendly.
My partner and I worked really hard to bring together wedding vendors that fit with our intentions for a personal and intimate wedding. Leah was an absolute perfect fit!! Relaxed, ...
friendly, and kind, Leah brought much needed peacefulness to the day and captured beautiful moments that I will cherish forever.
I knew I wanted documentary-style photographer because I didn't want to spend my wedding day shuffling around for the perfect shot. I wanted someone to be a fly on the wall, taking photos that represented the true emotion and energy of the ceremony and celebration. When we met with Leah, she was genuinely interested in getting to know Sam and I as a couple and individually. We felt like we were collaborators, not just clients. When WNC was affected by Helene, Leah was the only vendor we were able to communicate with and so she became our boots-on-the-ground, giving us information and helping us to make the decision to postpone our wedding a year.
364 days later, Leah arrived onsite and immediately brought a calming energy: sweeping through family photos, knowing there was a bit of tension; snapping a quick photo and then flitting away for my partner and I to have some alone time; and deftly navigating the many folks that approached her for group photos during the reception. Our photos were delivered via email on Christmas Eve, perfect timing to peruse through with visiting family. The images were everything I wanted and more. Leah's talent is astounding and I'm so glad that she was part of our day.
Leah was the first vendor we hired for our wedding and we are so glad we did! She was incredibly responsive, easy to work with, and so kind. My husband and I are both a bit awkward...
in front of a camera, and I often am not crazy about how I look in photos, but Leah did an incredible job making us feel at ease, capturing beautiful memories and really documenting the joy of the day. She also recommended several other vendors and we hired many of them-- they were all great! Really our only complaint is that we’ve got so many great photos that narrowing down which to frame and put in a wedding album is a challenge! 100% would recommend Leah to other couples getting married in the Smokies or Knoxville area!
We were an out of state couple heading to the Smoky Mountains, TN for our destination wedding and Leah was absolutely incredible to work with.

at we wanted for our wedding day, giving us options but also taking suggestions we wanted. She keeps her social media updated so we could see all of her work - making an out-of-state bride feel very confident in the photographer we selected!
Once we met her (the day of our wedding), it was like we've known her for a long time - Leah is very down to earth and everyone attending the wedding was extremely impressed with her. She made us feel 100% comfortable in front of the camera and it was a very organic experience, not posed.
We received our photos and cried tears of joy several times as we were able to re-live our wedding day. Leah captured moments that I could only dream of her capturing - this was one of the many reasons why we selected her and we were blown away with the results. Leah was incredible to work with and we could not have asked for a better experience!
Works can't describe how amazing it was to work with Leah. In searching for a photographer, we kept coming back to her portfolio because we loved how she incorporated the surroundi...
ngs into photos. We didn't just want "look at that couple!" but "look at that amazing photo!" too. She did not disappoint. Her communication was always prompt, professional, and put any concerns I had at ease. By the time our wedding day arrived, she already felt like family. We had an absolute blast with our first look photos and she caught everything imaginable at the ceremony and reception. We've already received our sneak peek photos and they are everything we had hoped and more. Our wedding guests couldn't stop talking about them. We look forward to working with her for all of our professional photo needs. Thank you for everything, Leah!
