Leana went above and beyond for our wedding. We had a micro wedding with no coordinator and lets just say things weren't going to plan. She stepped in and helped me plan our schedule, coordinated with family members and even saved our arch as I was about to walk down the aisle! (thank god for duck tape) She truly saved the day. And to top it off our photos are incredible. She made us feel comfortable with every pose and had advice when we asked. She was up for all my weird requests and seemed genuinely excited to be there with us. She made us look movie star good! I will cherish our photos forever and I'm forever grateful for all she did for us! I can't recommend her enough!!

I don’t think I have enough words in my vocabulary to explain to you how perfect and wonderful Leana is as a wedding photographer, but more importantly as a person. When I say I did not have a good wedding day, that is the nicest way I can possibly put it. However, my wedding photos look like the whimsical, fairytale I had dreamed of. Leana managed to capture every beautiful moment all while regulating my coordinator who was determined to ruin my day and directing everyone seamlessly. She was seriously more like my planner and wedding photographer combined. She was also the only person who could make me feel better on (not kidding) be of the hardest days of my life. She was my wedding saving grace. My photos are perfect and I gained a treasured friend. I will now forever use Leana for any time I need some happiness captured. She will for sure be my lifelong photographer for all my future milestones. I.e., kids, birthdays, honeymoons - anything else I can possibly think of. I can’t sing her praises enough. Leana shot both our engagement photos and our wedding and I will just say we felt undeniably lucky to have found her. Not only were her photos lovely, but it's clear she really cares about the people she works with. She was so invested in everything along the way, from helping me pick out outfits for our engagement shoot to the timeline for the wedding. I could text her anytime and she was incredibly responsive. We interviewed several other photographers, but no one felt as warm, genuine or as enthusiastic as Leana so we went with her--- and our instincts were right. After our wedding, I told her that it felt like a friend was there taking our pictures, not just a vendor. If I could do one thing differently I would have planned ahead and booked more time for a bridal shoot or something else! I would highly recommend.

I can say that I would hands down suggest anyone to have Leana take your pictures! She was absolutely amazing in all aspects. She helped accommodate in every way she possibly could for our wedding. Once we had chosen her she instantly was on the ball and made sure I understood everything within her contract and answered any questions I had quickly. She reached out to me about going over the wedding day plans! She spoke with me several times before the wedding to make sure everything would go smoothly! Day of she arrived early and was the sweetest person ever! She helped me manage the wedding day craziness of my family and made sure she got every picture I wanted beautifully. Her time management was perfect and made sure we took all pictures at the times needed. Not to mention every single picture she took was breathtaking! I was beyond pleased with Leana in every single aspect!

Leana and I met on very unique circumstances! I had booked a photographer for my engagement/wedding photos and 3 months before the big day...she found out she would be unable to take our photos due to having a medical procedure done. Scrambling to find another, I found Sasha with Somewhere studios who agreed to take on the task...only to find out she was unable to be there the day of as well, BUT she could connect me with Leana and I'm so glad she did! Leana is INCREDIBLY sweet, professional, and attentive. She made sure to reach out to me before hand to ease any worries I might have had with the day approaching. She showed up early on the day of, made me feel like I was the most beautiful bride on earth with endless compliments and captured our day from beginning to end! Although she did not do the final edits on my photos, she offered to give me backups in case I wanted extra!! At the end of the day I got 1000+ photos to go through and I seriously couldn't be any happier! And that's not saying enough; my entire bridal party LOVED her and continued to compliment and praise her to me even after our wedding! I think for someone to take on not one, but several brides last minute is saying A LOT about who Leana is as a person and professional. I would 10/10 recommend her over and over again

We had the most amazing experience working with Leana. She is the nicest, most talented, professional photographer out there! We did both an engagement photo shoot as well as the full day for our wedding and we’re so thrilled with our pictures. My husband and I are both a little camera shy and she helped us feel so comfortable and get us out of our shells. By the time it was our wedding day it felt like having a friend be there to support us through the craziness! And our pictures are just incredible. She listened to what style we liked, what we were looking for, and delivered it flawlessly! On top of our gorgeous pictures, she was very responsive and super supportive throughout the whole wedding process. For each session she sent sample pics to us as she was editing and kept us updated throughout the entire process. On top of that, her prices are incredibly reasonable for the level of service she provides! I can’t say enough amazing things about our experience. We truly cherish our photos- so seriously stop your search and book her!

Leana photographed our wedding in Big Sur on 03.19.2022. She was the breath of fresh air we didn’t know we needed. She followed through on all her promises, she called and emailed when she said she would, she arrived on time, and she delivered the sneak peek of our photos quicker than we expected. She was very down to earth and made us feel comfortable in front of her camera. She was there to help in any way and she did so on multiple occasions. We appreciated her sense of humor and her ability to bring levity to a rain soaked wedding. Her prices are reasonable and she was so accommodating with her time. She was reassuring when the stress of the wedding came to a head and she made us feel at ease. I’d recommend her to my friends and family. The photos that we have received look great. Leana was THE BEST! She was so accessible before the wedding for any and all questions and even was the one who helped us put together our timeline for the day. My now-husband and I shared that we were nervous as neither of us loves being in front of the camera, and Leana was RIGHT when she reassured us that she'd help us feel totally comfortable and free to enjoy our day. She made suggestions that really improved the day, but also gave us space to do our own thing. Most importantly - the photos are GREAT! I couldn't believe how perfect everything looked when we got our photos back (and she got them back to us QUICKLY in the middle of a super busy time!!!). I'd strongly recommend Leana to anyone getting married on the Central Coast.

Leana was beyond amazing!! She did both our engagement photos and wedding, and we couldn't be more in love with all our photos. She makes it really comfortable and easy while taking pictures. Leana was great, very friendly, responsive to texts and the photos were phenomenal! We had purchased an 8 hour package, but at the end of the night there was not much going on so in exchange for her leaving a little early she made us an fantastic canvas print :) Super happy with our choice!

Leana was great to work with during our recent wedding in Santa Barbara! From the minute I contacted her she prompt about getting back to us and made sure that all of our questions/concerns were answered. She is professional, kind, organized and super talented at what she does. She recently sent us our wedding pictures and I absolutely love them!!! I highly recommend booking Looking Glass Photography for your wedding!! I contacted Leana a bit late in the busy season/only 3 months before our September 3rd date and I am SO glad I did! We were on a tight budget and I was still on the fence about whether we could even afford a professional photographer, but I saw her add on Craigslist and her pricing was fair for the SLO area, the photos on her blog looked so dreamy and I knew I would regret it if I didn't splurge on this! Leana was super quick to respond to every email and text, which is extremely helpful while planning out all the details of your big day. Although Leana was already booked on our quickly approaching/Labor Day Weekend holiday date, she kindly offered that her assistant photographer Annie Hock was available. Leana did our engagement photos in Morro Bay and did a fantastic job. She was fun and easy to work with and efficiently captured us at our best :) We booked Annie for our wedding and she did a phenomenal job! We did not meet her in person until the day of the wedding but she instantly fit right in with our crew. It was 90 degrees in Cambria during our wedding and Annie hustled the entire time, capture every big moment and all the sweet small candid moments in between. She was non-intrusive and I don't even remember seeing her at all during the ceremony or much during the reception = photo wizard! We truly treasure all of the photos - each and every one was high quality, and she even managed to capture our non-photogenic/easily distracted dog ring bearer Forest posing with us perfectly. I also love how the photos were creatively infused with the natural surroundings, something that was important to me and my husband. Editing turn around time was exactly as promised - 2 weeks for engagement and 30 days for the wedding photos. I also loved how convenient it was to pay online and the online photo gallery was user friendly and simple to download your final photos. Both Leana and Annie are incredibly talented photographers and you will be lucky to have them document your big day!

Leana was so wonderful to work with! My husband and I were both nervous about being photographed, but she made it very easy and comfortable. She was extremely easy to communicate with and even helped me figure out a wedding day timeline to ensure we got all the photos we wanted (including sunset photos on the beach!). She captured the best day of our lives and all its details so beautifully. I highly recommend her!!

We cannot say enough great things about Leana! I found her through Instagram and instantly fell in love with her photography style. Her use of natural light is phenomenal. I was lucky enough to be recommended to Leana. I was trying to plan a wedding from a different state with no way to see or meet anyone before hand. She came highly recommended to us for good reason. She responded immediately to any questions or concerns I had. Her pricing was far better than anyone else we looked at. She was so supportive during the whole process, and made sure she knew enough about us to give us the exact experience we wanted for the wedding. I had mentioned above we knew no one in California. Leana gave us a large list of vendors she recommended and had worked with. That made it so much easier for us to find quality vendors. Everyone we used was amazing. Now to the pictures. She had multiple cameras, and a variety of picture ideas for us right when she got there. She was beyond knowledgeable and talented. Our pictures were posted to her site which were easily accessible for us and our family to download. She edited over 600 pictures from us to choose from and every single one was incredible. From family pictures, to ceremony, to reception each moment was captured flawlessly. She also did a maternity shoot for my sister in law and those pictures were so beautiful. I would highly recommend Looking Glass to anyone that wants to make sure they have beautiful pictures of their special day. Leana is everything you want in a wedding photographer! She is so easy to work with and makes you feel calm and comfortable! Some photographers block other guests views during the ceremony, or they are a little intrusive because they want to get the shot, which is great but it can take away from the vibe of the day. Leana never did any of that and she still took the most amazing pictures of our day! I wouldn't have wanted anyone else there to capture our moments. She truly is a wonderful person and an amazing photographer!

Leana, hands down, is amazing. Her positive attitude is so encouraging and she will do anything to protect her bride and groom for their special day. She is extremely flexible, and willing to go above and beyond with her work and time. Our wedding was rained on and regardless she did what she could to get the very best photos for us. She makes photo shoots feel so natural and really puts her whole heart into her work. I HIGHLY recommend her for engagement and wedding photos as well! It is pricey, but worth what you pay for.

She is very fast, so I was able to enjoy my cocktail hour and didn't have to have posed photos taken for hours on end. My husband really loved that since he does not like his picture taken.
