only technically talented, Leo has a great eye for detail and captured so many moments at my wedding that I will treasure for a lifetime.

and is also a photographer! We inquired with many different vendors and Leo was different from the start. Leo emailed links to several *full wedding albums* to allow us to review his work in its entirely vs. just seeing his highlight reel. This is not standard for all photographers, but it should be! Leo was responsive via email and patient with our many questions. He included a 30 minute engagement session with our package which we did in Liberty State Park 2 months before our wedding. Although we had already done an engagement shoot for our website photos several months prior, scheduling this shoot allowed us to meet him and become familiar with his shooting style, and also practice for our big day! We felt comfortable with him right away. He had a teaser photo available for us within days. His work truly is art, and he captured so many stunning shots we printed for our guests. The day of the wedding he arrived early and was very calm. As a veteran in the industry he knew our videography team (the fantastic Christopher Antice) and they worked together seamlessly, rolling with every chaotic element that happened during our day, including being sprayed with a fully bottle of champagne (by mistake!) without batting an eye. We had a last minute change of location for our first look due to rain, and Leo had no trouble setting up and delivering the most incredible wedding photos. Group shots, solo, family formals - everything was done with ease. Leo kept an eye on the timeline, and was kind enough to ask whether we wanted to do night shots, with no pressure. Although we were having a great time at the reception we left for a few minutes and were glad we did. Seriously - do the night photos! Those ended up being some of our most iconic shots. Our photos were revealed to us during a Zoom meeting with one of his associates 8 weeks after the wedding. We were initially VERY skeptical about the meeting, assuming they would try to upsell us, and thought we’d be committed to only including the 20 album pages included with our package. In the end we were so grateful for the meeting, and there was no pressure at all. We loved every photo so much we ended up adding many pages and upgrading the album pages without being encouraged to. In the end we couldn’t be happier with the process and the photos which we have used as gifts for our parents and will print as photos for our walls. He’s talented, kind and a true professional.

ng forward to our engagement shoot, we set a date, time and he was there to perform; and he PERFORMED. Even his assistant was so sweet, and their job is never easy. We shared our tight schedule with wanting to send out our "save the dates," and Leo delivered a gallery for us to use within days. The shots were his infamous moody, artistic vibe, which we fell in love with from the beginning. Fast forward to months leading up to the wedding, Leo emailed us regarding our itinerary. He wasn't the type of vendor I had to keep on top of. Leo didn't make us feel like a number; he answered every text message and email promptly. Now, his talent; I'd see his photos pop up on my Instagram for almost a year before even getting engaged. I was in awe of his bridal party shots and would compare them to a scene out of the Godfather. Leo is a pleasure to work with, and any couple is lucky to have him. Don't base your photographer (or any vendor for that matter) based on your venue's recommended vendors. Had I done that, I'd have your basic, cookie-cutter photography. Hire what YOU love and you'll be so happy you did. We hired two photographers to capture our wedding day from every angle and we're so excited to receive our gallery!

kind of people and were nervous about having the camera on us the whole time. His direction was clear and calm which is VERY important on such a special day that entails so much detail. I loved the ideas that were proposed to us before and during the event. Leo was very flexible with his time to go over details initially and right before our wedding, the quality of the photo album can’t be matched anywhere else, and he’s just a really great, family-oriented guy which made a difference. From a fine art point of view, most wedding photographers overexpose their photos (that’s the trend now apparently)- Leo doesn’t, which gives a more dramatic and natural look. Another thing I noticed was he understands how to photograph depending on the weather, the material worn by the bridal party, bride, and groom, and when working with me, he knew how to fix my dress, hair, and knew when I needed a touch up. You may be thinking, “don’t they all?” and the answer is absolutely not. Lastly, he had a few guys working with him, one of them seemed like an apprentice- the way he worked with his crew was unbelievably admirable; he’s a great teacher and you can see it and how much they liked working with Leo. We really can’t recommend Leandro Silva Photography enough…they were so pleasant to work with and made us feel comfortable and amazing on our special day.

And despite this attention to detail, the block of time we allocated for photos was not exceeded and did not affect the start time of our ceremony on the beach. e has such talent and creativity and delivered such wonderful silhouette pictures and stunning shots filled with such emotion. My favorite was when he ran up to us when the sun was about to set and caught this wonderful shot when the sky lit up red. It was magical. My husband is not a fan of getting photos of himself taken but because Leandro is very laid back he barely noticed he was even there. We loved his work so much that when I was pregnant with my second baby we had family photos taken with my then 18month old. I didn’t know where to get photos taken that would optimize the beautiful colors of fall with my family and Leo suggested the best place. My daughter was very shy at the time but he got her to open up and caught her sassy wild side. I’ve never been happier with the colorful and warm photos that he captured for me. I highly recommend him to all my friends and family whenever anyone asks for a suggestion.

Don’t be surprised if all of a sudden you spot him in a tree or laying down on the floor or sprinting down the isle to make sure he gets the shots most important to you. Aside from all of this Leandro was one of my most responsive vendors and he delivered the pictures in a timely fashion. I could not have asked for a better person to capture my special day!

He was so flexible and accommodating to our needs. He made it super easy and comfortable to be photographed. If you are looking for the typical posing pictures from the 80's, Leandro is not it! His pictures tell a story and reflect every piece of emotion felt on that day. I look through my pictures (which you get them all to do with them, what you like) and I still feel like I am reliving the moment. He will work with you to get the pictures you absolutely need including any classic poses but trust me when I say... let him do his magic! He has such an amazing eye for it and captures beauty in natural light. I have used Leandro since our wedding (in 2014) for our 1st year anniversary and will continue to use him. Amazing talent!

s. I loved the candid moments he captured that really told the story of the entire day. Our wedding day was not the easiest logistically -- there was a ton of traveling to each location (getting ready, ceremony, photos, reception, etc). Leo was there to capture these moments at each one of these locations and was flexible if plans changed or time ran out. Leo was professional, kind, and patient with my family and my bridal party the entire day. He stepped back and just did his thing -- I'd often forget he was even there until I saw him laying on the ground or climbing something to get the perfect shot. And trust me, I don't think there was much he wouldn't do for that shot! :) My wedding day photos I received were beyond beautiful. They were exactly what I wanted and what I had imagined--and more. My family and friends won't stop raving about how gorgeous every photo was. It's been 10 months now since my wedding and still love going through my photos. He truly captured every single little moment and didn't miss a beat. Even now that my wedding is over, I still follow Leo on every social media outlet and am amazed by how each shot he posts is better than the next. You will not be disappointed with this photographer, I can assure you!

For our engagement shoot he drove about 2 hours away and spent the majority of the day with us. He was very flexible and made sure that we got whatever images we had in mind. ough his portfolio along with everything he offers. He shot our engagement photoshoot in Hoboken and the pictures were amazing. Within a few hours after the photoshoot he had already posted a few good ones on Facebook (after asking our permission) and then sent the remaining photos about a week or two later. Leading up to the wedding he was in contact with us to find out what pictures in particular we were needed to take (mostly family pics). The day of the wedding he was there from the start of us getting ready to the very end of the night. After taking our standard family and posed pictures, he moved to the dance floor to start taking pictures of everyone partying there. He was never in the way and caught some amazing shots. Within 4-5 weeks he had edited and published all of our pictures to our own personal website. This allowed us to share it with whomever we wanted. There were well over 1,000 pictures and every single one was amazing. I would absolutely recommend using Leandro as your wedding photographer.
