We shared our tight schedule with wanting to send out our "save the dates," and Leo delivered a gallery for us to use within days. The shots were his infamous moody, artistic vibe, which we fell in love with from the beginning. Fast forward to months leading up to the wedding, Leo emailed us regarding our itinerary. He wasn't the type of vendor I had to keep on top of. Leo didn't make us feel like a number; he answered every text message and email promptly. Now, his talent; I'd see his photos pop up on my Instagram for almost a year before even getting engaged. I was in awe of his bridal party shots and would compare them to a scene out of the Godfather. Leo is a pleasure to work with, and any couple is lucky to have him. Don't base your photographer (or any vendor for that matter) based on your venue's recommended vendors. Had I done that, I'd have your basic, cookie-cutter photography. Hire what YOU love and you'll be so happy you did. We hired two photographers to capture our wedding day from every angle and we're so excited to receive our gallery!

e whole time. His direction was clear and calm which is VERY important on such a special day that entails so much detail. I loved the ideas that were proposed to us before and during the event. Leo was very flexible with his time to go over details initially and right before our wedding, the quality of the photo album can’t be matched anywhere else, and he’s just a really great, family-oriented guy which made a difference. From a fine art point of view, most wedding photographers overexpose their photos (that’s the trend now apparently)- Leo doesn’t, which gives a more dramatic and natural look. Another thing I noticed was he understands how to photograph depending on the weather, the material worn by the bridal party, bride, and groom, and when working with me, he knew how to fix my dress, hair, and knew when I needed a touch up. You may be thinking, “don’t they all?” and the answer is absolutely not. Lastly, he had a few guys working with him, one of them seemed like an apprentice- the way he worked with his crew was unbelievably admirable; he’s a great teacher and you can see it and how much they liked working with Leo. We really can’t recommend Leandro Silva Photography enough…they were so pleasant to work with and made us feel comfortable and amazing on our special day.

It was magical. My husband is not a fan of getting photos of himself taken but because Leandro is very laid back he barely noticed he was even there. We loved his work so much that when I was pregnant with my second baby we had family photos taken with my then 18month old. I didn’t know where to get photos taken that would optimize the beautiful colors of fall with my family and Leo suggested the best place. My daughter was very shy at the time but he got her to open up and caught her sassy wild side. I’ve never been happier with the colorful and warm photos that he captured for me. I highly recommend him to all my friends and family whenever anyone asks for a suggestion.

I’ve recieved so many compliments and many people have told me that just going through my pictures made them feel that they were actually there which says a lot about Leandros ability to be able to capture candid moments but more importantly capture the emotion that is going on at the time. Don’t be surprised if all of a sudden you spot him in a tree or laying down on the floor or sprinting down the isle to make sure he gets the shots most important to you. Aside from all of this Leandro was one of my most responsive vendors and he delivered the pictures in a timely fashion. I could not have asked for a better person to capture my special day!
