th how they turned out, and she captured so many special moments that we will cherish forever. However, I also want to be transparent about our experience, especially for future brides who may be considering booking with her. One of the biggest challenges throughout the planning process was communication. Unfortunately, communication could be very sporadic, and there were times when getting a response was difficult or took much longer than expected. As a bride planning one of the biggest days of my life, that could be frustrating, especially when trying to finalize details or get answers to questions. During our conversations, LeAnn had shared with us that photography is her full-time profession. Knowing that this is what she does professionally on a full-time basis, I anticipated that communication would be a little more consistent and that responses to questions or concerns would come within a reasonable timeframe. I completely understand that photographers have busy schedules, multiple clients, editing responsibilities, and personal lives outside of their work. I certainly never expected immediate responses or for her to be available around the clock. However, given that this is her full-time business, I was surprised by how long it sometimes took to receive a response, particularly when we were trying to coordinate important wedding details. While we absolutely love the photos we received, there were a few specific moments and photos that were incredibly important to us that we had discussed with LeAnn during our meetings leading up to the wedding. Unfortunately, some of those photos were not included in our final gallery. I have reached out multiple times in hopes of getting those photos or even finding out whether they were captured, but unfortunately, I have not received another response. That has been disappointing, especially because we made a point to communicate how meaningful those particular photos were to us. I don’t want any of this to take away from LeAnn’s talent because her photography truly is beautiful, and we are so grateful for the incredible memories she did capture. However, I do think communication, professionalism, and follow-through are just as important as the final product, particularly when it comes to something as significant as a wedding. Once the wedding day is over, couples are relying on their photographer not only to deliver their memories but also to remain accessible if questions or concerns arise. If you’re the type of bride who needs consistent communication, timely responses, and reassurance throughout the planning process, LeAnn may not be the best fit for you. However, if you’re comfortable with a more laid-back communication style, her photography speaks for itself. Overall, we are incredibly happy with the beautiful photos we received, but I do wish our experience with communication and following up after the wedding had been better. I truly hope this is something that improves for future couples because LeAnn has so much talent, and her work deserves to be accompanied by an equally wonderful client experience.
