In the summer of 2025, my sister booked a family photo session with LeAnna, and she was incredible—she...
made everything feel so natural and effortless, and we got our photos back so quickly. We were all thrilled! Fast forward to October, when my now-husband and I started planning our wedding in LBI for April. We completely forgot about that session and were reaching out to photographers we found on Instagram through Mallard’s posts.
We met with LeAnna, and after the call my husband turned to me and said, “I think she did our photos this summer…” We felt SO silly for not realizing sooner, but so grateful everything came full circle and she ended up being our wedding photographer!
LeAnna is truly the easiest photographer to work with and is so responsive. Before she takes any photos, she really takes the time to understand your vision and how you are as a couple. She makes taking thousands of photos feel completely natural. For our engagement shoot, we really wanted beach photos, but the 40mph winds made that challenging. LeAnna told us, “These are your pictures—I’ll bundle up, it’s whatever you want.” We went for it, and the photos turned out AMAZING—and in less than a week, they were already delivered!
For our wedding, LeAnna completely took the lead on timeline and planning, which we were so grateful for. We had no idea how long things would take or the best spots at Mallard, so we trusted her—and everything turned out perfectly. She kept us on schedule without ever making us feel rushed and made sure we got every shot we could have wanted.
I remember at my sister’s wedding, family photos took a long time and felt a bit chaotic, so when I forgot our shot list, I was nervous ours would be even worse. But LeAnna stayed completely calm and just told me to call out who I needed. She set up the perfect spot, organized everyone effortlessly, and had people running over as she called their names—she truly made family photos a breeze.
One moment that really sums her up: during our ceremony, my 1-year-old niece was getting a little restless. While capturing our “I do,” LeAnna was somehow bouncing my niece on one hip and taking incredible photos with her other hand. It was unbelievable.
Only nine days after our wedding, our full gallery was ready. We couldn’t open it fast enough, and she perfectly captured all the love and happiness of the day.
Her photos are the perfect mix of posed and candid moments, and she was amazing at making the candid ones feel natural and not awkward. One of the simplest but most helpful things she would say was, “If it feels weird, you’re trying too hard.” If she noticed we were overthinking, she would start asking random, lighthearted questions to help us relax—and it made such a difference in how genuine the photos turned out.

be awkward at times. LeAnna has a great sense of humor and always knew how to make my husband and I laugh for the pictures. We had both sets of pictures completed at the Sea Shell and around Beach Haven - she knew all the great places to take us to for an amazing background. During the day of my wedding, she jumped in to steam my wedding veil and made sure my hair looked good throughout the reception while I was dancing. The best part was that she had all wedding pictures done and sent to me the Tuesday after my wedding (which was on a Saturday and she had a wedding also on that Sunday)! LeAnna's a very hard worker and an amazing photographer - would highly recommend her for any occasion!

ack and just a casual, fun conversation. That is exactly what we wanted. We went out of the box and had our engagement shoot in Atlantic City. We were both a little skeptical with it being so crowded down there but we did it anyway and we were not disappointed. We got some awesome shots in a bunch of locations. The pictures came out so so good! We had such a hard time picking our favorites, we loved them all! Family and friends gave so many compliments so we knew already that we made the right choice going with LeAnna. We were in constant contact throughout the entire process. truly lifesaver she was for our wedding. My husband & I don't like to be in front of the camera, but she not only helped us become comfortable but she made every part of the day fun. LeAnna gives clear directions for posing & has true talent for getting amazing shots. She braved over 20 mile an hour winds to take photos at the beach, & got the best photos with my veil blowing in the wind. It was especially helpful that we got to be in front of the camera, which gave us experience for the day of. Plus, we finally got to meet LeAnna in person- and she is so much fun- love her. We had a rowdy bunch for a bridal party, and she had no problem wrangling all 13 of us for our group shots for a really fun group of photos. We got all the important photos, the walk, the kiss, first dances, speeches, and the like. Then came the party! Leanna sneaks in and out so well, you don't even notice a photographer was there until you get your photos. Even though my husband and i dated for 6 years before getting married we were worried about feeling awkward or weird in front of the camera and that never happened!! When she arrived our our home, she scurried away to get gorgeous detail shots that I never would have even thought of, but are so meaningful now that they were captured. Her talent became even more evident once we saw some sample photos on her blog just days after our wedding which was a fun surprise to see some images so quickly. We felt at ease the entire day and felt like she gave simple and clear direction to achieve great shots...not once did we feel smothered or overwhelmed by the presence of photographers which was important to us.

I never really thought about the fact that I’d spend 10+ hours with a photographer on my wedding day and looking back I’m soooo glad that person was you. You had such an amazing spirit and high energy and made the process enjoyable and most importantly natural. The day of she arrived on time and got right to work, her personality added a relaxed feeling to the room.
