but your photography isn't one of them! No matter what, you can't re-take your pictures so it's important to make a good a choice and not to skimp on your photographer. I liked that Melissa spent time with us for our engagement shoot before our wedding so that we got to know her and she got to know us. Another thing I really appreciated was sitting down and talking about what was important to us; what family shots were most important and anything she needed to know about our family that would affect our pictures. In the end, we got a ton of great pictures and we had a great time. One final thought; Melissa went above and beyond by bringing a hand-painted umbrella (it rained on our wedding day!) with our wedding date on it for some "Thank You" card pictures!
