, the pistachio opera cake was an absolute hit, and the popovers were unforgettable. The food strikes the perfect balance between comforting and elevated. We have honestly never had chicken or roasted vegetables as good as theirs anywhere else.
Ashleigh was like an expert orchestra conductor. She ran everything with calm precision and care, making sure our vendors and guests got where they needed to be. She added so many small thoughtful touches that made the day feel even more special. Everything came together flawlessly, and we could not have asked for a better experience.

our extended families and wedding party (80 people) in their Macomber Room. Since it was November, it was dark by the time our ceremony started, but it was so cozy and intimate that we felt so comfortable and at ease. It didn’t even feel like there were 80 people in the room! The reception followed immediately after in the main dining room, where the rest of our guests arrived (in total there were 103 of us). Because not all our guests were at the ceremony, we wanted to enjoy cocktail hour with everyone so we opted to do our “grand entrance” just the two of us, into cocktail hour. The DJ played our song and we did a loop around the restaurant - it was such a hype-up for the rest of the night!
We knew wanted to get married in a restaurant for a few reasons: food and drinks are taken care of, no need for most rentals, and an intimate atmosphere. The Ledger delivered on all fronts and then some! All our guests RAVED about the food - most saying it was the best meal they’ve ever had at a wedding (can’t say that about many wedding venues!) We did family-style and there was ample food to go around. You have to get the popovers - they are so, so good! The Ledger staff were equally amazing; attentive, kind, fun. Shoutout to the Events Director Ashleigh for being so easy to plan with, and our bartender Jace for being an allstar. Rather than sitting at a table, we sat at the bar. It was a great way to be able to see everything going on, and easy to come back to after talking with guests. The restaurant has such a cool, intimate atmosphere, while also having plenty of room for dancing and chatting. You also don’t really need much decor - the vibe of the restaurant speaks for itself. It was so fun and fulfilling to give our guests a different kind of wedding experience. 1000/10 stars!

of initial contact, Ashleigh was prompt, informative and SO easy to work with. she dealt with my excessive, annoying and tedious questions throughout the 11 months leading up to the wedding. the entire process was very bride/groom led and initiated which made for such easy planning. the restaurant itself is gorgeous; the ambience was perfect. ashleigh even helped orchestrate my walk down the aisle. the bartender and wait staff were SO pleasant to work with the whole night and absolutely seamless. The food was some of the best I've ever had, and the drinks...my god. I'll have dreams about this forever.
one word of caution; we were budget people so we opted to use the restaurants speakers and create a playlist instead of hiring a DJ. our playlist did not play correctly and I was too worried about over burdening the Staff to try and fix it, which left about 45 mins of just house music playing. not a big issue for us because we aren't massive dance people, but there were certain songs that we wished had been able to be played for memorial purposes. I'd suggest hiring a DJ for a wedding just to eliminate that issue. I'd have 2974 more weddings if they all happened at the ledger! thank you so much for the best night of my life!!

sponded faster than I ever expected (even on her days off and when she was on vacation!) The Ledger team made our reception dreams come true and helped me alleviate additional stress that came along with finding food, desserts, and drink vendors - Ledger did it all and they allowed us to choose whatever options we wanted from their full private dining menus. Our guests raved about the food and drinks and we had such a great time. Thank you to the Ledger team for making our wedding a literal dream come true. Thank you Ashleigh for organizing every detail and a big thank you to Chef Dan for the incredible meal that we're still talking about almost three months later.

planning to get married in Massachusetts where his family is based, and so I was going in blind when reaching out to possible vendors.
When I emailed Ashleigh, she was quick to respond and super helpful answering any and all questions I had. She also had a whole catalog of photos of previous events hosted here, which was super helpful in trying to picture everything I wanted.
Initially we were going to go with a different vendor, but the lack of communication scared me off and when I emailed Ashleigh again a week later she welcomed my fiancé and I with open arms.
We wanted a laid back cocktail reception, and they even allowed us to customize the menu to have some Peruvian options which our Peruvian friends and families loved. In fact, everyone was RAVING about the food, with many of our guests insisting it was the best food they have had at a wedding ever.
The bar and staff where quick and not were there no issues like waiting too long to have a drink, but the drinks were Delicious.
The space was perfect for our 85 guests, the look and feel was amazing, so chic, modern, elegant, but also cool and laid back which is what we were going for, and I could not be more happy with how everything went.
Ashleigh and her team made it run so smooth, she was incredibly personable and made us feel heard and special, and she even helped when my shoe when the strap snapped just minutes before walking down the aisle and helped out with décor to a point where we barely had to bring or do anything.
I only wish I could get married there all over again because it was just so beautiful, delicious, and fun.

n Lake Placid and the following week we decided to check out Ledger, which had just opened on the 20th. About twenty minutes into that first visit, I knew I wanted to get married at Ledger. The atmosphere, the people, the decor, the incredible and unique food and drinks. There was no doubt in my mind that Ledger was going to be our wedding venue. We hadn't started any wedding planning yet, but we knew we wanted to keep everything local, we knew we wanted a unique spot that spoke to our style and most importantly, we knew we HAD to have the best food and drinks at our wedding. Ledger proved to be the perfect choice! Our ceremony was in their smaller event space and our reception was held in the main restaurant. The space is so warm and inviting and it's beautifully designed with a vintage meets 21st century vibe. The food and drinks completely exceeded our expectations and people are STILL telling us how much they enjoyed the food. The pastry chef even made us a custom Rosh Hashanah dessert! And the people. Everyone was so incredibly nice, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and making it such a fun evening for all of our guests. They made our night even more extra special.
