ng to hugging in the evening because his personality is so contagious. He was so kind and attentive and provided such a positive energy to the day that still makes me smile to think about. He was basically our hype man the entire day telling us how great we looked and positioning us in the most flattering ways. Lee and his team made us feel so comfortable and I had MULTIPLE guests tell me how much they enjoyed him and what a great person he was. My favorite thing about Lee is having him there felt less like having another vendor and more like having another guest, yet he was so professional and attentive. I never even had time to get a sneak peak because Lee had our ENTIRE WEDDING ALBUM to us in about three weeks. I was speechless at not only the turn around time but how incredible the photos were, my husband and I both teared up seeing the way he brought our vision to life. Lee made us feel like we were the most important people in the world on our wedding day and I could never thank him enough for that. Additionally, about a week before my wedding when chatting on the phone, Lee had mentioned that he had a friend who he thought could be an excellent wedding coordinator for us and was it okay if he brought her. We of course said yes and when looking back, Ellen was one of the only things that kept me sane that day. Her help was beyond words. Towards the end of the evening we lightheartedly kicked Lee out because he had almost ten thousand photos and was still going!!! If you're looking for a photographer that is not only going to provide you with amazing photos at an INCREDIBLE price but also someone who is going to be your very best friend on your wedding day, then it is an absolute no brainer to choose Lee Speary.

t. We have had many guests tell us Lee's personality was very enjoyable and fun to be around. Lee even did a back flip during a spin the bottle and dance in the circle event when it landed on him! Lee provided over 800 photos, all of which are amazing. The quality and quantity of photos are beyond our expectations of wedding photos. The diverse set of photos that were taken is also great. Everything from all of the standard wedding photos to unique shots of guests and things at the venue are invaluable to us. We would recommend Lee to anyone looking for a wedding photographer (or photographer for anything else too). Lee was great and helped make our wedding day perfect!

Lee went above and beyond to get this shot and then sprinted around to get us some alternate shots from the opposite angle which I loved more! I appreciated that he was willing to follow what I thought I wanted and still get the best shots. Truly awesome! We are so happy with our wedding photos and will treasure them forever.

Lee is a party in and of himself – he immediately had us all laughing while simultaneously looking more photogenic than we ever have in real life! He also brought along Joe, who has a quiet kindness that made us all immediately love him as well. Joe was more soft-spoken than Lee but had a warmth to him that perfectly worked alongside Lee’s energy. What a great team! Lee and his team’s personality alone is more than enough reason to hire them, but the photography – WOW. Some of these photos literally made us gasp when we saw them (and we were there!!). The colors, the brightness, the framing – everything is so beautiful, and they just truly captured the love and happiness we felt that day. Some photographers are clearly more comfortable in just one aspect of weddings – the people or the scenery or the food- but every picture Lee and his team took was such high-quality, beautiful art. There is a creativity and uniqueness in their photos that are truly an extension of their creative and unique personalities. They are some of the most breathtaking wedding photos I have ever seen, and I can’t believe they are mine! We missed Lee in the days after our wedding. We immediately felt he was one of our friends, and felt a little betrayed when we re-read his reviews and realized everyone he photographs feels this way! Lee and his team were one of the very best parts of our wedding and I wish we could rate them higher than a perfect score, because they went so above and beyond what their jobs required to make our day perfect.

beyond expectations. His assistant was also amazing. While Lee was with us ladies, his assistant was with the men. He got great shots of the guys and now I feel like I was there with them. I cannot recommend Lee and his team enough. They are all incredible and professional.

was different! He is an artist. His photos are paintings, and look like works of art. My daughter was intent on getting great sunset and mood photos and once we saw Lee’s photos we knew he was our guy! The best part was his Amazing attitude! He became part photographer and part therapist the week before the wedding. We had so many restrictions at my daughter’s wedding due to the high rate of covid, and we had already lost 2 vendors the week of the wedding since they were ill. Needless to say we were panicking that he might be next. He assured us that he would take all precautions pre-wedding to make sure that he was healthy and present. Once he arrived he became one of the family. He was so much fun and energetic, that the guests loved him as well. We called him the ninja since he was EVERYWHERE but without being intrusive. He literally became one of the highlights of the wedding. It was a weekend wedding so he worked very hard but never lost his energy or patience. Lee remembered everything we told him about what we wanted, and didn’t want in the photos. We just received the photos and all I can say is he captured the “essence” of the entire weekend! His photos are magical! Don’t wait… on the off chance that you’re lucky enough that he’s available… book him! It will be the best decision you make for your wedding, other then choosing the right spouse. ;)

ive, and Lee did just that! From the very beginning, he was so wonderful in chatting over the phone to get to know us as a couple and our wedding vision. He and Michelle showed up day of and captured every single moment, and made them all picture frame worthy. He was able to capture your obligatory wedding photos as well as the most precious and unscripted moments. As fast as our wedding day went, it was hard to remember the little things, but Lee froze them all in time for us to have forever. They made posing feel natural and always had amazing conversation to make you feel most comfortable. The hard part now will be numbering down the amount of favorites we have to create an album of our own. No one could have done this better for our special vision. They were just the perfect team, thank you both! Highly highly recommended!!

THESE PHOTOS: Wow! We didn't know any photographers so we went off of some reviews we saw here at The Knot. So glad we did. Lee (and Joe) had such an amazing way of finding beauty in everything. The simplest pictures to the most complex. He took requests for whatever we wanted to see and no ask was out of reach. His editing was wonderful with a mix of natural, black and white, enhanced, and cleaned up photos to make each one worth the display. He gave us our portfolio of 1,000 pictures a little over a month after our wedding. We were so delighted to share them with our friends and family. If you want your day to be captured from start to finish, including the little moments, big moments, and the ones in between, I would check to see if Lee is available!

Lee we decided to book him for our wedding and go ahead with our engagement shoot a few months later. In the sweltering heat of July 2020 smack dab in the middle of Covid, we had an absolutely wonderful photo session at NYS Empire Plaza. His work turn out impeccable even though we were all sweaty messes. Lee was super engaging, very conversational and he knew his cult classic one liners and Dr. Who references which my now husband appreciated! At our wedding he had an assistant named Joe who was just as wonderful to work with as Lee, they both made our photo sessions effortless and he got the littles to stay still and say "squeezeeeeeee" instead of "cheese!" We got beautiful photos under the star filled night sky that we cannot wait to see when the edits are done! We whole heartedly recommend Lee for any wedding photography that you may need.

Lee was easy going and traveled 2 hours each direction to accommodate my needs as a customer. We had his service for 10 hours and he never showed signed of fatigue. Hire this guy!!
