Legacy Cakes

We had such a great time choosing our wedding cake with Legacy Cakes! After going through 12 cupcakes and 12 frostings, we found the best combination of flavors. They got the cake to the venue on time, cake was exactly what we designed with the baking team, tasted great, overall great process from start to finish. We will definitely be going back at our one-year anniversary to their cute downtown Grapevine bakery to get another cake in the future!

We got so many compliments on our wedding cake! On top of it tasting amazing, they were able to take all of my inspiration pictures and create my dream wedding cake. I can't wait to go back to the bakery soon to eat some yummy cake!

Cake was delicious and the staff was so easy to work with and very helpful. One of the best cakes for the best prices! They even gave options to have a smaller cake with backup cakes to make the cost more affordable. Highly recommend!

Legacy was amazing! They have so many flavor options for the cake and the icing. My husband had a grill for his grooms cake and we had a 3 tier wedding cake. Everything came out perfectly and they were so easy and fun to work with!

Legacy Cakes knocked our wedding cake out of the park! The consultation was extremely helpful and we did not feel rushed or pressured at all. They have tons of cake and frosting flavors so you can find something for everyone. The cake was beautiful, exactly what we wanted, and tasted INCREDIBLE. We had chose three cake/frosting combos and every single one was amazing. I cannot recommend Legacy Cakes enough!

Megan and her team delivered the most incredible wedding cakes for our December wedding. The process was a blast and the delicious cake was loved by all our guests. We loved so many flavors I ended up surprising my husband with a Chicago Cubs Sign grooms cake. The team pulled off the surprise perfectly. My favorite memory of the cake is during our last dance. We had all of our guests leave the room for us to dance and we both sat down and enjoyed a piece of cake half way through the song. It was that delicious!

My husband and I only went and tasted at Legacy Cakes! We had two family members prior to us use Legacy and they were phenomenal then so we knew we were in good hands. Legacy Cakes did nothing but impress us. Our original wedding date was May 21, then due to covid 19, our date got moved. Legacy worked with us and we’re so accommodating for our new date. From the beginning they established their needs and expectations (as far as venue needs, payment, delivery, etc) and were by our side every step of the way. I was very specific In the design and detail of our cake tiers and they literally brought my dream to life! Our cake was fantastic and I received so many compliments on how good it tastes! They exceeded our expectations and we will definitely use them for more events in the future!

My husband and I had a beautiful formal wedding in February 2020. Legacy had the best tasting, best price and most beautiful cakes. They also had the best customer service and took the time to really help bring our vision to life. We wanted our cake to be an elegant focal point of our reception and we EASILY chose Legacy to design our gorgeous cake. It ended up being tall, elegant, vibrant and truly the focal point of our weddding. It was STUNNING. We will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary with cupcakes! For the past 2 years, I’ve recommended everyone use legacy for birthday cakes, engagement party cakes, wedding cakes and even cupcakes! We buy a couple of cupcakes every time we’re in the area. So yummy!

Our cake was exceedingly beautiful and of course tasted incredible! I wish I could post pictures here so you could see how beautiful our cake way. I cannot say enough positive things about Megan Rountree and Legacy Cakes. I have used them over and over again for everything from our wedding to showers to birthday parties to just treats for my family. Megan is insanely talented and I can't imagine ever using another bakery for my sweet needs. :)

Our cake and cupcakes were GORGEOUS and delicious, and our top tier was honestly just as good a year later (I couldn’t believe it). You can’t go wrong with the design OR flavor here! ❤️

I cannot say enough good things about Legacy Cakes! I have used them for several different events but specifically for a couple of bridal showers. They are my GO TO bakery for all of my celebratory needs. They listen to my every want/design dream. They are DELICIOUS and always produce a perfect product! Beautiful and Elegant!! Legacy Cakes exceeded my expectations when they made my wedding cake. I gave them my idea and they brought it to life with so much more beauty than I imagined. Legacy Cakes is the absolute best! My husband and I just celebrated our first wedding anniversary and the cake we saved from a year ago is still as good as the day we got married! We grew up in the Grapevine-Colleyville area so it was important to us to find local vendors for our wedding in Plano. Everything from the cake tasting to delivery the day of was perfect. We had our florist put together some a small coordinating floral arrangement to put on one of the tiers and we were very happy with the result. Cookies and cream and almond (my favorite) were the flavors we chose. We also had my bridal shower cookies made by Legacy and we pick up sweet treats to go every now and then to satisfy our cravings. Thank you again for making the perfect cake for us on our special day!

Best cake ever. Best customer service. I arrived at the venue and the cake was there and set up! It was perfect and gorgeous. The grooms cake was a custom Jets logo and custom green. He truly enjoyed it! Thank you!

Cakes was probably the worst part of our entire night. They didn't deliver both bride and groom's cake until the reception was about to start and the cake layers and marbling were incorrect on the bride's cake. The only good part was the flavor of the cake. It was good. And, the groom's cake was decorated well.

The cake was yummy, beautiful, and exactly what we wanted!!! Hilary was a dream to work with and helped us make choices that fit into our budget. The tasting went perfectly and we were able to ask questions and make selections based on the ideas we brought to the table. The cake was delicious and Legacy Cakes even added beautiful flowers to it at the last minute! We go back to the cake shop every now and then to taste their new creations and say "hello!" Legacy Cakes has the best cakes! We normally order from them for birthdays and such. But I decided to use them for our wedding cakes and that was the best decision EVER! I had not gone to any other cake tastings because I knew they were the best and on the wedding day when the cakes arrived, I was not wrong. They tasted amazing and looked BEAUTIFUL! My husbands cake was his logo for his company and it was right on point and perfect! highly recommend legacy cakes not only for weddings but for EVERYTHING!

Legacy Cakes makes the most delicious and of course beautiful cakes!! My wedding cake was absolutely perfect and my husband had a ninja turtle head as his grooms cake, haha, it was amazing! I went to several cake tastings with my sister and after she chose Legacy Cakes, I knew I would for my wedding as well! Hands down the tastiest! The process for ordering was easy and everyone was always so friendly. They delivered on time and they even helped put the flowers on the cake since the florist had already left! I highly recommend!!

TJ at Legacy Cakes was absolutley amazing to work with. She helped us design our dream cake and made the ordering process super easy. Any time I had a question, she responded within 24 hours and was always extremely helpful. The cake also tasted AMAZING. We over ordered and ordered enough cake for around 110 guests and only had just under 100 actually attend. Our guests still ate the entire cake - we had no leftovers at the end of the night! We ordered strawberry with vanilla icing and Italian cream with almond icing. Both were a hit!

I cannot say enough good things about Megan and her team at Legacy Cakes- they are absolutely amazing!! We used Legacy Cakes for our wedding cake, groom’s cake and cookies. The cakes and cookies were not only exquisite, but they were very delicious as well! Our 1 year wedding anniversary is coming up and we are looking forward to indulging in our yummy top tier!

My beautiful daughter-in-law & her parents chose the perfect wedding cake! The multi-layered cake not only provided a gorgeous focal point for the reception, but the flavor was amazing as well. I'm fairly certain there were only crumbs left by the end of the evening! Except for the heavenly topper--saved for the newlyweds of course!

We consulted with TK and she had such amazing ideas, I follow this bakery now and I am soooo excited to have them making our wedding cakes. I cannot wait to take pictures and see this beautiful perfect masterpiece she is going to make for us! We got the cake samples to be able to choose our cake and frosting and omg the Almond Buttercream is faint worthy! The cakes are moist and delicious and some how I ended up leaving with cookies on my visit in to pay my deposit. Great prices for the work you get and everything that I’ve ever seen walk out the door is a work of art! Just wait for the pics to come in June!

Legacy cakes did a phenomenal job with our cake! We went in and met with Jessica and she helped us design the perfect cake. We went in not really having an idea of what we wanted but she was extremely helpful and we ended up with the perfect cake! It's almost been a week since our wedding and we are still eating cake since we had some left over and it still tastes as amazing as it did the day of.

Legacy Cakes made the most wonderful wedding cake and grooms cake for our wedding last weekend. The grooms cake was a super detailed replica of my husbands race motorcycle. He couldn't believe the detail when he saw it. Their cakes are not only beautiful, they are super delicious!

We have used Legacy cakes for past birthdays and special occasions so obviously I wanted to use them for our wedding. My fiance was unable to come with me for the tasting so the shop was kind enough to pack the tasting for me to take home. Everyone was so nice and they worked with me on the design. I had several pictures from pinterest and we were able to combine them all into one beautiful cake. We were even able to accommodate a last minute detail of a tiny Link character from The Legend of Zelda peeking out form the bottom of the cake. I can't say enough good things about Legacy Cakes. If you want amazing cake, fun and talented decorators, and a great overall experience you should check this place out.

We used legacy cakes for our wedding and everything turned out better than we could have imagined. They were even able to accommodate me wanting to put macaroons on my wedding cake, which looked amazing!

It was so easy to work with Legacy Cakes! I was going to evaluate a few different options, but after meeting with them I was set. They talk through all cake details with you and make the options/designs easy to understand. They also help guide you through about how much cake you would need. It seems like this could have been complicated since we were doing both a bride and grooms cake, but they were incredibly helpful on both! Taste testing was so easy too, they gave us one box with all cake flavors and another with the fillings and icings to let us mix and match on our own time at home. This was great because we could talk through it and give our opinions without being rushed. They were professional and on time. The cakes turned out to be BEAUTIFUL! And were absolutely delicious!!! I would recommend Legacy Cakes 100x over!!!

We absolutely loved our wedding cake! And so did all of our guests! We came in for our initial consult with ideas from many different cakes that we liked the look of. They did an awesome job of sketching a design that looked just like we imagined. Tasting the cakes was even better! We went with three flavors: Italian cream sponge with lemon cream filling, chocolate sponge with fresh strawberry filling, and italian cream sponge with Chambord filling. They were great with setup and delivery, and everything looked PERFECT on the big day! Thanks so much!!

WOW!!! Our daughter wanted unique cakes for her wedding reception, and Legacy Cakes really gave her two incredible cakes. Her bride's cake was a beautiful 3 layer cake with cream colored icing and gold accents on the outside. The second layer was a map of the world, reflecting her "world" connection with her new British husband. The details were perfect and the cake was beautiful. The inside was marvelous. Each layer was a different flavor, and they were all incredibly moist and delicious. The groom's cake was very special. The bride and groom, while dating and engaged lived far apart (her in Texas, him in England.) One of their fun things to do was to play an on-line video game called Little Big Planet. They wanted a planet (earth) shaped and decorated cake with the details found in the video game. Legacy Cakes nailed it!!! The details were so good! And again, the taste was awesome! The bride and groom were thrilled! Legacy Cakes was reasonably priced, and their attention to detail was superb! I highly recommend Legacy Cakes in Grapevine, Texas!

Legacy cakes was so great to work with! We wanted a geek themed wedding cake that was also elegant and delicious. They certainly delivered and more! The cake I ordered was beautiful! They were so friendly and accommodating! When the cake was delivered I realized we had forgotten our topper in all of the chaos of the day and the delivery woman stayed and made a beautiful floral topper for us so our cake wasn't plain.
