NEARBY HOTELS, PARKS, and SITES FOR ADDITIONAL WEDDING EVENTS There are so many nearby places to host additional events (we held a few at the nearby parks at red wing) that were extremely convenient! Hotels were all awesome and there is an assortment that makes it easy for your guests to choose where they want to be! Plus the local food is great! In conclusion, we feel just as excited to promote this venue now as we did when we looked forward to having our wedding there, as well as the day of our special day! ds. We met with Joan, and her kindness and authenticity were exactly what we were looking for when planning an event of this magnitude. She methodically assisted us through the process of unveiling the details and decisions that would need to be decided about the wedding day. She gave us a tour offering further ideas and strategies that helped us to make concrete decisions. The setting is breathtaking and highly manicured. It offers a seamless transition when welcoming guests to the ceremony site - benches on the hillside, and later to the reception area - the restored barn, and then finally to the meal - the spectacular pavilion. It is wheelchair accessible with sidewalks throughout the property. There are magical niches set up throughout the property to visit, gather, and connect. The groom and bride have exquisite areas to gather with their party and prepare prior to the event. I was so impressed by the quaint, clean restroom facilities and the entire grounds. It is a highly booked venue, but you feel like you are the only one of the season, because of the attention to detail and genuine, fresh reception of the staff. We had a stunning event and still have friends and family remind us of the incredible time that was experienced on that wedding day. You honestly need to consider this venue for any gathering! You will be overwhelmed and over-served!

These additions also made planning for wedding decor easy - you really don't need much, because the place is already filled with charm and zest!! Joan made the entire process so smooth and flawless. She answered all of our questions (and we had A LOT of questions) and worked with us due to living out of state. Her and her team communicated efficiently and effectively, even responding instantly at late hours when we were up late planning!! They are very professional and are extremely willing to work with you. We can tell they truly seek to make your vision come to life and don't treat you as if you're just making them money. On the wedding day, the quality of their service was outstanding. They made sure everything was exactly as we planned and went above and beyond to serve the entire day. We could not have asked for a better place to start our forever. To be able to look back at the photos, videos, and think of the memories from the day knowing that it was as perfect as we could have ever imagined is priceless. The grounds are pristine and picturesque from every angle which helped make our day everything we were hoping for. Whether you are inside or outside, the spaces on the venue are BEAUTIFUL and offer many areas for your guests to enjoy. The patio and cocktail area was especially loved by our guests and served as a great space for mingling for those who were looking to take a break from the dance floor. I cannot recommend Legacy Hill enough and I am so thankful we found this amazing venue for our day.

This spot was extra special for guests who didn’t feel like dancing or felt the pavilion was too loud for their taste during the reception. This encouraged guests to stay longer and hang out at the venue, allowing for more mingling and social time. The pavilion was absolutely breathtaking and enchanting, especially at night with the string lights and chandeliers lit up. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to get married at this venue. It was the perfect day and all of the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Their support on the day of really relieved the stress from my mom which was important to me to ensure she could relax and enjoy the day without any worries or extra responsibilities. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get married in MN. My guests also loved the venue and could not stop raving about how cozy and beautiful it felt from the ceremony through the end of the reception.

Joan and everyone we worked with on our day and leading up to it were so professional and EASY to work with. We really wanted to feel at home and listened to while planning our wedding since there are a lot of unknowns (especially with COVID currently) and they were amazing! I was never stressed due to vendor issues or anything! They handled it all and it was seamless/flawless and perfect! Not to mention our guests had a blast and we've been receiving compliments ever since. We can't recommend Legacy Hill enough. We loved it soo much and everyone cared so much which ended up making our day absolutely perfect!

They handled the entire COVID-19 pandemic with grace. Our wedding day was even better and more magical than I could have imagined. And their venue is even more beautiful in person! I highly recommend Legacy Hill Farm!

tdoor venue for both the ceremony and reception that wasn't too far from the Twin Cities. Legacy Hill Farm was the exact vibe we wanted- lots of nature, light, airy, whimsical, and mostly outdoors (but it does have a pavilion roof in case it rains). It doesn't feel like other barn venues and I would hardly cluster it in that category other than the beautiful farm fields and some cute animals on site (roosters were clucking during our ceremony, which we enjoyed!). LHF is so elegantly simple and beautiful, with the perfect amount of rustic touches. From the fountain at the entrance to the twinkling bistro lights at cocktail hour, it truly felt like we had a storybook wedding. When my bridesmaids and I arrived in the morning, LHF had the fountain going, music playing, and candles giving off a lovely scent. We were all immediately awestruck. We lucked out with a gorgeous 80 degree day in July, but LHF had its grounds in perfect condition. Everything felt very clean and well taken care of. LHF turned out to be the absolute perfect venue to hold a wedding during a pandemic. We didn't have to alter our original plan at all- the holds 300 guests and so our 130 guests fit comfortably. They were able to social distance on the pews during the ceremony and tables in the pavilion could be spaced 6 feet apart for dinner. We rented some lounges from Hello Wildflower and they were utilized a lot, not to mention were great places to take photographs. In the evening, many guests hung out at the fire pit and outdoor bistro tables. These options were such great alternatives during covid. We happened to have an almost full moon, and the views over the farm fields were incredible. The entire pavilion and bar area were warmly lit and glowing, which gave the wedding an enchanted feeling all night. Everything flowed so smoothly, from feeling like a princess as we got ready in the bridal suite, to dinner and dancing under the full moon. Legacy Hill Farm was everything and more that we ever dreamed of. It didn't even feel like a pandemic wedding.

because the place is so beautiful and there weren’t any of our decorations up yet. It is a beautiful space that we will remember forever. Our guests have been complimenting the venue ever since, they loved all the different spaces! Every nook is amazing and so unique!

“hidden fees.” Joan and her team and very quick to respond to any questions that I had and were always pleasant and made our wedding feel special to them. The venue itself is absolutely perfect. There were different spaces for people to socialize (dance floor, bar area, fire pit, etc) but they are so close in proximity that everything felt like one party- I’ve been to several weddings where everything was too far apart. Legacy Hill Farm is the perfect wedding venue.

f is a photographers dream, the facility is cozy, casual, informal, yet absolutely beautiful. Our wedding exceeded all our expectations but more importantly our dream. Almost everyone of our guests said is was the best wedding they have attended and the most fun. Thank you Legacy Hill!

pavilions for the bride and groom tot get ready are such a great touch to making the day run smooth. The fact that I didn't have to deal with renting tables, chairs or lighting was a huge positive. We did see some snow, rain and lots of wind during our day (what else could you expect from an October wedding in Minnesota) and the transition from having the ceremony inside as opposed to being outside was seamless. The space was just as beautiful inside for the ceremony as it was for the reception. Even though we would have loved to hold the ceremony outdoors, the backup plan at Legacy Hill is the best there could be! Wish I could relive that day for the rest of my life!
