This venue is absolutely stunning! It has a rustic elegance with a very logical flow from one area to another. It was easy to host our 180+ event here. The staff was very responsive to questions leading up to our event and helpful with details the day of. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to host an outdoor event.

This venue is the perfect blend of indoor and outdoor spaces. Lots of venues have you either stuck indoors or you have to make a conscious decision to go outside. At Legacy, it all just flows. From the bar and patio to the pavilion, the outdoor focus is on point. Additionally, I was amazed at the hospitality this venue brings to the table. This venue feels staffed like a luxury hotel, which is the way it should be. If you want a luxury experience for your wedding — whether that’s from the views that surround you, or the attention to detail, Legacy Hill Farm is the place.

From a fathers perspective: What a great venue to invite family and friends to gather! When you have the privilege of sharing such a momentous event, you want it to be impactful and memorable. I had the honor of ushering my daughter into the beautiful ceremony site, and I will never forget it! The entire evening was enjoyable, as the guests took pleasure in gathering and conversation! The venue offers wonderful options to congregate including the rustic barn/bar area, the elegant pavilion, the quaint fire pit, and charming sitting areas near the fountain, porches, or trees. The staff was great to work with and made the event seamless and effortless for our family, so we could focus on our guests! I would highly recommend this venue! It was an extraordinary location for our daughter's wedding, but it would also be fantastic for family reunions, office parties, team building, and retreats.

There is SO MUCH TO SAY about our wedding at Legacy Hill that I seriously don’t know where to start! I’ll just throw some summary bullet points at you in case this is more helpful! She responded to all of our questions and inquiries in an extremely timely fashion as well as the rest of the staff and family! We went to multiple open houses (and even accidentally brought family to one) and were welcomed kindly every single time! AFFORDABLE WITHOUT SACRIFICING ANY QUALITY You will get more than you paid for and feel like the venue can’t be improved on! We didn’t even buy much additional decorations and felt like the venue was totally perfect! They help you have the wedding of your dreams without breaking the bank BEAUTIFUL VENUE! You cannot find a more beautiful venue that balances modern and formal aesthetic elements with rustic farmhouse elements that will leave you feeling like EVERY CORNER of the wedding venue is beautiful and deserves a picture there! RECOMMENDATIONS OF OUTSTANDING VENDORS! From food, to DJ’s, to photographers and limo service, Legacy promoted and casually encouraged us to use incredible vendors that really made the night perfect! EVERY vendor was beyond perfect for our wedding. DAY OF STAFF TO HELP THE EVENT GO SMOOTHLY Legacy provides additional support to coordinate your wedding which helps put your mind at ease if you don’t have a wedding planner like us! NEARBY HOTELS, PARKS, and SITES FOR ADDITIONAL WEDDING EVENTS There are so many nearby places to host additional events (we held a few at the nearby parks at red wing) that were extremely convenient! Hotels were all awesome and there is an assortment that makes it easy for your guests to choose where they want to be! Plus the local food is great! In conclusion, we feel just as excited to promote this venue now as we did when we looked forward to having our wedding there, as well as the day of our special day! DO NOT MISS A CHANCE TO BOOK THIS VENUE AS YOU WILL BE SO GLAD YOU DID TRUST ME! There is more to say but I don’t want to run out of space due to a character limit. This place is THAT GREAT! From the moment I stepped foot on the property with my daughter, we both knew this was the place that we wanted to share one of the best moments of a lifetime with family and friends. We met with Joan, and her kindness and authenticity were exactly what we were looking for when planning an event of this magnitude. She methodically assisted us through the process of unveiling the details and decisions that would need to be decided about the wedding day. She gave us a tour offering further ideas and strategies that helped us to make concrete decisions. The setting is breathtaking and highly manicured. It offers a seamless transition when welcoming guests to the ceremony site - benches on the hillside, and later to the reception area - the restored barn, and then finally to the meal - the spectacular pavilion. It is wheelchair accessible with sidewalks throughout the property. There are magical niches set up throughout the property to visit, gather, and connect. The groom and bride have exquisite areas to gather with their party and prepare prior to the event. I was so impressed by the quaint, clean restroom facilities and the entire grounds. It is a highly booked venue, but you feel like you are the only one of the season, because of the attention to detail and genuine, fresh reception of the staff. We had a stunning event and still have friends and family remind us of the incredible time that was experienced on that wedding day. You honestly need to consider this venue for any gathering! You will be overwhelmed and over-served!

Legacy Hill Farm is an amazing luxury wedding venue. I have attended several events at this venue from wedding ceremonies + receptions to delayed receptions post a destination wedding to a private family event gathering. The attention to detail is what does it for me, in addition to an outdoor-focused venue. I love being outdoors and the hybrid environment that Legacy brings to so many of its spaces is fantastic. I love this venue.

We got married 10/22/23 at Legacy Hill Farm and it was the BEST decision we made in the wedding planning process!! First of all, the venue is gorgeous, rustic, and has everything you could ever need. The little details they add to each room is so intentional and unique. These additions also made planning for wedding decor easy - you really don't need much, because the place is already filled with charm and zest!! Joan made the entire process so smooth and flawless. She answered all of our questions (and we had A LOT of questions) and worked with us due to living out of state. Her and her team communicated efficiently and effectively, even responding instantly at late hours when we were up late planning!! They are very professional and are extremely willing to work with you. We can tell they truly seek to make your vision come to life and don't treat you as if you're just making them money. On the wedding day, the quality of their service was outstanding. They made sure everything was exactly as we planned and went above and beyond to serve the entire day. We could not have asked for a better place to start our forever. To be able to look back at the photos, videos, and think of the memories from the day knowing that it was as perfect as we could have ever imagined is priceless. Such great communication throughout the planning process and beautiful venue

We had our wedding at Legacy Hill at the end of August and I cannot imagine a more perfect setting for us to have said I do! From start to finish Joan, Jayne, and other staff were incredible. They are so kind, easy to communicate with, and truly care about you as a couple and are willing to work with you to help make your dreams come to life. The grounds are pristine and picturesque from every angle which helped make our day everything we were hoping for. Whether you are inside or outside, the spaces on the venue are BEAUTIFUL and offer many areas for your guests to enjoy. The patio and cocktail area was especially loved by our guests and served as a great space for mingling for those who were looking to take a break from the dance floor. I cannot recommend Legacy Hill enough and I am so thankful we found this amazing venue for our day.

Legacy Hill Farm will go down as one of the most treasured places in our hearts. We absolutely loved our venue. This was the most perfect and dreamy place to get married. The venue has everything you need for a day that will suit everyone’s needs. We ceremony site was stunning; the bar and patio area were perfect for cocktail hour and for the reception. This spot was extra special for guests who didn’t feel like dancing or felt the pavilion was too loud for their taste during the reception. This encouraged guests to stay longer and hang out at the venue, allowing for more mingling and social time. The pavilion was absolutely breathtaking and enchanting, especially at night with the string lights and chandeliers lit up. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to get married at this venue. It was the perfect day and all of the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Their support on the day of really relieved the stress from my mom which was important to me to ensure she could relax and enjoy the day without any worries or extra responsibilities. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get married in MN. My guests also loved the venue and could not stop raving about how cozy and beautiful it felt from the ceremony through the end of the reception.

We had the best wedding. It was the most special day! All of the staff is very friendly and we got so many compliments on the venue! Even during our pre-wedding tour after booking they were so accommodating. There were so many spaces for our guest to relax and enjoy with out feeling like they were stuck in one place! I highly recommend this place as you place to get married!

Legacy Hill Farm is the most perfect, whimsical venue for a wedding. We loved all the areas for our guests to roam - from the courtyard, bar, pavilion, upper barn, etc. Adding yard games, an ice cream truck, and our puppy as part of the festivities of the wedding made it all the more magical. I secretly am hoping to be able to attend a wedding there as guest in the future 😀. Joan and her family are doing a great job!

Legacy Hill Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding. Set in picturesque Minnesota country the fall colors were just coming in. The outdoor ceremony site was absolutely amazing. The versatility of the reception hall made it adaptable to the temperature of the day! Everything about this venue has so much to offer whether it’s the bridal suites, Bonfire pit, bar, or the stunning photo spots all around the venue it was truly a dream come true from start to finish.

We absolutely had the wedding day of our dreams at Legacy Hill Farm! From the start of the planning process, Joan - the owner- was wonderful to work with. Where do I begin?! We visited a couple wedding venues and had some more to tour after we visited Legacy Hill and none compared to how we felt while at Legacy. The atmosphere and space is unbeatable and laid out in such a way that there is plenty of space for people to be but still feel included in with whatever is happening. Joan and everyone we worked with on our day and leading up to it were so professional and EASY to work with. We really wanted to feel at home and listened to while planning our wedding since there are a lot of unknowns (especially with COVID currently) and they were amazing! I was never stressed due to vendor issues or anything! They handled it all and it was seamless/flawless and perfect! Not to mention our guests had a blast and we've been receiving compliments ever since. We can't recommend Legacy Hill enough. We loved it soo much and everyone cared so much which ended up making our day absolutely perfect!

Legacy Hill Farm went above and beyond our expectations for a wedding venue as well as an experience. Their property is a beautiful place and the staff does an excellent job maintaining and preparing for daily weddings. The family that owns the venue is sincere, helpful and does an amazing job. Absolutely loved this venue! Joan and Britni are very responsive and helpful throughout the process. Price transparency (only insurance and bodyguard separate cost) was very nice. You do have to pay more if you want a rehearsal dinner or extra time in the AM. Overall we absolutely loved our wedding at Legacy Hill Farm and couldn’t have picked a better venue!

Legacy Hill Farm is such a gorgeous venue and they’re easy to work with! I basically planned our wedding online through the pandemic and Legacy truly made our dream wedding come to life. Joan helped us through our postponement and continued to make us feel like a priority even while adjusting to this difficult wedding season herself. They handled the entire COVID-19 pandemic with grace. Our wedding day was even better and more magical than I could have imagined. And their venue is even more beautiful in person! I highly recommend Legacy Hill Farm!

From the moment my husband and I pulled up to tour Legacy Hill Farm, we knew it was our dream venue and it absolutely lived up to our expectations. We were looking for a single outdoor venue for both the ceremony and reception that wasn't too far from the Twin Cities. Legacy Hill Farm was the exact vibe we wanted- lots of nature, light, airy, whimsical, and mostly outdoors (but it does have a pavilion roof in case it rains). It doesn't feel like other barn venues and I would hardly cluster it in that category other than the beautiful farm fields and some cute animals on site (roosters were clucking during our ceremony, which we enjoyed!). LHF is so elegantly simple and beautiful, with the perfect amount of rustic touches. From the fountain at the entrance to the twinkling bistro lights at cocktail hour, it truly felt like we had a storybook wedding. When my bridesmaids and I arrived in the morning, LHF had the fountain going, music playing, and candles giving off a lovely scent. We were all immediately awestruck. We lucked out with a gorgeous 80 degree day in July, but LHF had its grounds in perfect condition. Everything felt very clean and well taken care of. LHF turned out to be the absolute perfect venue to hold a wedding during a pandemic. We didn't have to alter our original plan at all- the holds 300 guests and so our 130 guests fit comfortably. They were able to social distance on the pews during the ceremony and tables in the pavilion could be spaced 6 feet apart for dinner. We rented some lounges from Hello Wildflower and they were utilized a lot, not to mention were great places to take photographs. In the evening, many guests hung out at the fire pit and outdoor bistro tables. These options were such great alternatives during covid. We happened to have an almost full moon, and the views over the farm fields were incredible. The entire pavilion and bar area were warmly lit and glowing, which gave the wedding an enchanted feeling all night. Everything flowed so smoothly, from feeling like a princess as we got ready in the bridal suite, to dinner and dancing under the full moon. Legacy Hill Farm was everything and more that we ever dreamed of. It didn't even feel like a pandemic wedding.

My husband and I just had our wedding at Legacy Hill Farm last weekend and it was incredible. When I walked into the main reception space on the morning of my wedding day, I cried because the place is so beautiful and there weren’t any of our decorations up yet. It is a beautiful space that we will remember forever. Our guests have been complimenting the venue ever since, they loved all the different spaces! Every nook is amazing and so unique!

I can’t say enough about the team at Legacy Hill Farm. They were one of the few vendors that I met with that I trusted. They were very upfront about costs and there were never any “hidden fees.” Joan and her team and very quick to respond to any questions that I had and were always pleasant and made our wedding feel special to them. The venue itself is absolutely perfect. There were different spaces for people to socialize (dance floor, bar area, fire pit, etc) but they are so close in proximity that everything felt like one party- I’ve been to several weddings where everything was too far apart. Legacy Hill Farm is the perfect wedding venue.

Legacy Hill Farm is a perfect Wedding/Event venue. From the start of the first visit through our wedding day Joan and the staff at Legacy Hill Farm are wonderful. The venue itself is a photographers dream, the facility is cozy, casual, informal, yet absolutely beautiful. Our wedding exceeded all our expectations but more importantly our dream. I can't say enough about how amazing Legacy Hill was for our wedding. The space is absolutely amazing and everyone who attended made sure to let me know how beautiful it was. The pavilions for the bride and groom tot get ready are such a great touch to making the day run smooth. The fact that I didn't have to deal with renting tables, chairs or lighting was a huge positive. We did see some snow, rain and lots of wind during our day (what else could you expect from an October wedding in Minnesota) and the transition from having the ceremony inside as opposed to being outside was seamless. The space was just as beautiful inside for the ceremony as it was for the reception. Even though we would have loved to hold the ceremony outdoors, the backup plan at Legacy Hill is the best there could be! Wish I could relive that day for the rest of my life!

My husband and I were married at LHF on Sept 6th! We were so impressed with the venue and received tons of compliments from our guests about the beauty of the farm and friendliness of staff. While we had previously toured the farm and attended a planning workshop, seeing the venue decorated on our special day with all our own personal touches (and some add ins from Hello Wildflower!) was such a dream. We never imagined we would have the opportunity to get married at such a beautiful venue, on such a beautiful day. The only "negative" that we'd like to mention is that security staff wasn't the friendliest and while the owners allow smoking at the fire pit, they sure don't seem to like smokers. At one point my husband was standing just a tad outside of the fire pit area and staff threatened to kick him out - he was the groom! That wasn't appreciated and could have been handled differently. Additionally, we weren't given the full hour after the ceremony to get our items cleaned out of the groom/bridal suites and the staff started moving stuff without telling us and placing it on the porch. It's tough with how fast moving everything is to have something like that happen. Nonetheless, it didn't impact our rating and overall experience at the farm and we do truly recommend the space and loved working with the team!

Wow! What a beautiful venue! We visited Legacy Hill Farm in October and were thrilled to find out that they had openings still available for the following year's season! My husband and I celebrated our wedding in July 2019 and could not have had a more perfect day. Although Legacy Hill is a stunning and gorgeous venue, I would recommend them because of the staff and family that runs it. Joan and Britni's forces combined literally made for the perfect day. The communication leading up to the event was timely and proactive. Somebody is always there answering your questions and making sure you feel comfortable with any action items. The day of, we had Legacy staff there to greet our bridal party, help us haul our belongings to the bridal suites and literally be there for any/all questions. The most special part of this is everyone is so AUTHENTIC. You honestly feel like you are home with this crew. Everyone truly goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best day possible. I am so, so grateful we chose Legacy Hill Farm and HelloWildFlower events to coordinate and host our day. We will always look back and be grateful not just for a stunning venue and decor, but for the people behind the scenes that made all this work. Having our wedding ceremony at Legacy Hill Farm was an absolute dream. The venue is breathtaking and the staff is incredible. I never felt like my day wasn’t a priority to them. We received compliments from everyone about how beautiful the venue was! We also worked with Hello Wildflower for table decorations and they turned out better than I had imagined! 2 small things: they don’t send out tipping guidelines until a few weeks before the wedding. I knew this was coming, but was surprised by just how many staff members they have working to get the venue ready. This was something I had not properly budgeted for, so this tipping guideline further in advance would be helpful. The only unfortunate thing about Legacy is their contracted catering company. They were a bit difficult to work with. Even with these small set backs, I would book Legacy over and over again for our special day!! Thank you Joan and Britni!!

This venue is literally the most beautiful place you will ever see, hands down!! I can’t tell you how many people continue to tell me that it was the most gorgeous, beautiful wedding venue they have ever been to! We worked with Hello Wildflower for the event design and Britni literally blew me away with her technique and attention to detail making the day so comfortable for guests and the wedding party. She set up numerous lounges with couches/tables throughout the barn and patio area that were not left unused during the entire day/night. It was so nice for guests to have multiple areas to sit and relax during cocktail hour or after dinner. This family really works extra hard to make their farm groomed and immaculate during their wedding season. It was also amazing to have the grooms cottage in a separate building from the bridal suite. There are countless areas with gorgeous backdrops for pictures and I think my favorite part were the open barn doors overlooking the rolling hills during the reception at sunset. I can’t even describe the views, just breathtaking!! It literally was the most perfect day ever!!!!!

Legacy Hill was everything we wanted for our wedding day! The grounds are gorgeous and the ceremony and reception space took everyone’s breath away. Decorated or not, this venue is stunning. It has been 3 months since we were married and our guests are still complimenting the space and staff at Legacy Hill. The LHF crew and staff were passionate about making our day special in every way possible. Every last detail was taken of and all of our spaces were ready to go for us. We also had Hello Wildflower coordinate our day and the Legacy Hill staff worked hand-in-hand with Hello Wildflower and other vendors perfectly. The communication with Legacy was pretty average. We were confident in their ability to help us make our day come together so when we did not hear back from them via email or phone right away it was no worry. They always got back to us to answer any questions or concerns we had. As our wedding grew closer they provided us with immediate communication and attention to prepare for the day- even if it was just to calm nerves ❤️ Legacy Hill took such good care of us before, during, and after our wedding day. They are such a pleasure to work with and know what they are doing. We are so grateful for the amount of support, recommendations, and planning tools Legacy provided us on top of being able to utilize their beautiful venue for our big day. An absolute dream.

I had my wedding here in May. & I can’t imagine my wedding day anywhere else! This was one of the best decisions of my wedding planning process FOR SURE. My husband and I got married at Legacy Hill Farm in September. The Legacy Hill Farm team and Hello Wildflower team did such a wonderful job making the day look better than my dreams could have imagined. The team worked all day to make the space look amazing, alleviating my mom from having to decorate the grounds all day giving her back time to spend with my bridesmaids and I as we got ready and could spend time together. The day was filled with little worry and no stress all thanks to the team. I couldn’t be more grateful for Legacy Hill Farm giving us a day we will remember forever!

My fiance (now husband) and I realized quickly that we weren't traditional wedding venue people. We really could not find a place that fit our unique wants - until we found Legacy Hill Farm. It is so unbelievably beautiful and whimsical. The price that we paid was more than fair for everything they did for us during our engagement and on the wedding day. I couldn't believe how smoothly everything went due to their amazing staff. They have sufficient, close, and easy parking. Amazing restrooms, well maintained land, hotels close by, and a super quick commute from the cities. Everyone should get married here!

I attended a wedding here in September 2018 and it couldn't have been better. The flow of the property and the focus on excellence is on point. I really enjoyed the fire pit and solo stove patio use near the bar. If you ever have the chance of having an event here or attending one, you should make it happen.

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding at Legacy Hill Farm, and it was absolutely gorgeous! I loved that the venue space provided a bridal suite for all the girls to get ready, and a favorite memory was being able to watch all the guests arrive from the bridal suite windows. It was really special to have those moments with the bride before her big debut. It was also really nice to have the ceremony and reception site in one convenient location. Besides convenience and ease, the property was beautiful and perfect backdrop for photos. The barn bar was awesome, and the reception space in the pavilion was perfectly decorated and cozy for a late September evening with a big fireplace. Highly recommend this venue!

I got married here in September and it really couldn't have been more beautiful. The venue was absolutely perfect down to every detail and also made us and our guests feel so taken care of! The outdoor ceremony site looks like it's out of a movie and the pavilion where the reception takes place is gorgeous. It honestly looks beautiful without really having to do anything to it but it's also a great spot to decorate and make unique for your day if you want to. The staff was all super sweet. The entire venue feels really clean. I'm so thankful I got married here because it really did make the whole day feel so magical :)

If I could get married here a million times (to the same person lol) I WOULD. Legacy Hill was the one and only venue we toured. What sold us was not only the charming venue, but how helpful, caring, and sincere Joan and Britni were that day. This family owned farm is stunning and picture perfect. From the date we toured (March 2017) to the day we got married (August 2018) they had made minor improvements and added little details here and there. I cannot wait to see what they continue to do, because the venue is already stunning! The entire process was effortless for us. The communication was great and I always knew where we were at in the process. At one point we were really overwhelmed with wedding planning, and Britni offered to meet with us to go over everything. The team was always willing to answer the millions of questions we had as well. Legacy Hill has weddings Thursday – Sunday, and I would have never guessed they were working with that many people because I always felt like I was a priority. Our entire day was a dream, and the Legacy Hill team and the charm of the venue had so much to do with it. You will not regret booking Legacy Hill Farm!

This venue was a fantasy dream come true. We had Wildflower Events work hand in hand with the folks at Legacy Hill Farm to make our day picture perfect. All of our guests had a wonderful time and we hope that they will be talking about the wedding for decades. Legacy Hill Farm is a beautiful venue, you can tell that they take care of the venue and want every wedding to be better than the last. I would highly suggest using Legacy Hill Farm to anyone!! Wildflower Events Review: I honestly don’t know what we would have done without Wildflower events!!! The team at wildflower was so easy to work with and able to answer all of the crazy questions a bride and groom may have. This is what they do and they have truly mastered weddings. We purchased the full day utilizing wildflower, and every aspect of the day was perfect. From organizing the day, all of the small details to an easy tear down. The best part about working with Wildflower is they work hand in hand with Legacy Hill Farm which was extremely helpful!!!
