Legacy String Trio

The Legacy String Trio provided music for my wedding ceremony this past April, and we are so happy with our choice of musicians! Communication was prompt and easy-going, and working out logistical things like cues and transitions went very smoothly. They played beautifully, both when it came to pieces already in their repertoire and the pieces that they arranged for our ceremony- the both of us almost started crying more than once! They gave us exactly what we wanted, and we couldn’t have been happier.

Annie and the legacy string trio are PHENOMENAL! I 1000% recommend them for your wedding or event! Their repertoire is perfect with such a wide range of classical songs to movie themes and pop songs! They arranged speechless by Dan and shay for our ceremony and it was absolutely perfect! They are talented, kind and so easy to work with!!

Legacy String Trio was one of the most highlighted parts from our guests on our wedding day. They have a huge list to choose from and even offered to learn a song if they didn't have it. It was a great way to add some personalization into the fun - Game of Thrones/Office theme songs (a few of the grooms favorite shows). Then I was able to have the traditional side for the ceremony. It was the best of both worlds. Only sad I didn't get to listen to them more!! Highly recommend!!

We were thrilled with Legacy String Trio’s performance for our July 2021 wedding ceremony in Providence, RI! We heard how much our guests loved the prelude music while arriving, including some pop songs they recognized. We had asked for a very specific set of songs from the Danish String Quartet for our processional/recessional, and Legacy String Trio executed them both perfectly, creating beautiful and memorable moments for us on our wedding day. If you or a loved one is looking to hire a string trio for a special occasion, I can adamantly tell you that hiring Legacy Trio was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our wedding was January 25 (lucky, I know) at the Providence Public Library, and Annie and her fellow musicians truly made the space and ceremony magical. I had a very specific request when I reached out to Annie, which was that I wanted one of my very dear friends to sing me down the aisle and if it would be possible for the trio to accompany him. The answer was immediately yes and Annie assured me that all would be taken care of, I just had to connect them with my friend. Annie was incredibly responsive, flexible and clear about what they could do for our ceremony. We were given a helpful sheet to fill out regarding song choices and their repertoire which made it very easy for us to choose which songs we wanted to include in the ceremony. Watching through our wedding video, listening to Legacy Trio and my friend sing me down the aisle will never not have me in tears. The swell of the string instruments filled the beautiful space and elevated the entire ceremony. Truth be told, I heard them practicing with my friend just before the ceremony and I couldn’t even hold it together then. Their artistry as musicians shines through, they could not be more professional and their price is affordable. I had always wanted a string trio playing during my ceremony and the girls of Legacy String Trio made that wish a perfect reality. Annie is very easy to work with, professional, very responsive and very clear up front. We had them play contemporary selections before our ceremony and then more traditional during and all were done flawlessly. We got so many compliments on how fun and beautiful everything was that they played. It adds a beautiful, personal touch to your day and I cannot recommend these ladies enough.

Legacy String Trio made finding ceremony music so easy. They responded to my questions promptly. For music selection they set me a list of songs they usually play and their soundcloud. They also had no problem learning new songs for me that were not on their play list.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! we had Annie & Legacy Strings Trio (we had a duet) at our wedding yesterday and they did such a beautiful job! It truly made the ceremony and cocktail hour so much more than we could have expected. Their music list was so diverse and included things that perfectly embodied my husbands and I's tastes. They were super friendly on the phone and in email and were always open for questions, for which I have many. I am not going to lie, I was so nervous and focused about walking down the aisle I did not hear the music but all my friends and family said not only were they friendly and nice but they played wonderfully. Working with Legacy String Trio was such a treat! The group was incredibly responsive and reasonably priced. The options for music were incredibly diverse and we had so many favorites to choose from. Annie's communication was clear and responses were fast, and she also kept us on top of key checkpoints (i.e. finalizing the song list, establishing the ceremony timeline, etc). Their repertoire is extensive and we even made a few off-the-list requests which they gladly accommodated, including a relatively unknown song for my husband's late grandmother during our ceremony. I found the Legacy String Trio online while starting to plan the wedding. In fact, they were one of the first vendors that we picked! I always pictured myself walking down the aisle while string musicians played Canon in D, and I picked Legacy String Trio to make that moment happened to me. They did so wonderfully! Legacy String Trio played at our wedding on July 29th, 2017 and they were amazing! First of all, they are VERY affordable (which is one of the most important factors for any couple getting married). Yet in addition to their affordability, they are extremely talented musicians, and accommodating professionals to the tenth degree. They worked with the organist at my church and expressed enthusiasm about every idea I had for my wedding. Annie is a joy to speak with and is so easy-going and kind. I had no worries about my wedding day due to her ongoing correspondence and confidence. They are truly THE BEST!

Annie with her trio are nothing short of fantastic! The trio played prelude, processional and recessional music at my traditional Catholic church ceremony in the North End. It is no exaggeration to say that several of my guests came up to my husband and I at the reception to tell us how elegant and how much loveliness the string trio gave to the ambiance of the ceremony. Annie and I communicated mainly over email, and everything was a breeze in terms of planning. Annie and her trio are extremely self-sufficient...just tell them when and where and what to play, and you'll be blown away!
