LeGrand's Market & Catering

We used Legrand's Catering for our wedding and had a great experience. My wife and I loved working with the owner Jim LeGrand and manager Jimmy to create an awesome menu for our guests. The food was incredible- my friends are still talking about how perfect the beef tenderloin was! The food didn't break the bank and the service was top notch. The whole serving team was very professional and friendly, from their set-up to their break down, we had no worries around the food! We were just Legrand's sandwich costumers, but now we are loyal catering customers and plan to use them for all sorts of parties and holidays because their food and service is just so great!

Using LeGrand's as our caterer was one of the best decisions we made surrounding our big day! Jim LeGrand, the owner, helped us prefect and customize the "Grand Affair" menu. They served carved beef tenderloin to 275 people, and it was perfectly medium rare! We also served Chicken Modiga, pasta con broccoli, and seasonal vegetables. We received so many compliments! We used their in-house baker, Barb, to make assorted bite-size desserts (mini bundt cakes and brownies) that we placed on cake stands as our centerpieces and they were truly stunning. They were professional, responsive, and so accommodating during the entire process. Their prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality of food that was served. It was also great to go to their store front located in St. Louis hills for our tastings, meetings, and whenever I wanted to stop by to ask questions! We even used them for my bridal shower, serving a delicious chicken lasagna that my family is still raving about. We can't wait to continue to support this awesome family business for many future events!

The hallmark of a great wedding starts with the meal, so it’s important to work with someone who can deliver that aim. Through word of mouth we learned of LeGrand’s catering function. A quick stop by their store on Donovan and we were on our way to a great wedding decision. The owner, Jim, walked us through the process and made prompt arrangements to set up our next consultation + tasting. This was arguably my husband’s favorite part, as Jim brought to life many of the ideas & concepts we worked together to test (emphasis on WE - Jim made the process very amenable to the tastes and palettes of our impending guest list, including menu deviations to accommodate vegan and deject diet restrictions). The food - WOW! The tasting blew us away; Jim took copious notes and even advised us ways to help us manage costs on our end (plates, silverware, tablecloth etc.). The day of, Jim and his team were prompt, polite, and eager to respond to our process to keep everything smooth & running on time. For starters (pun intentional) our guests cleaned out the appetizers before we had any! Clearly ravenous, this gang of loved ones offered ample and bountiful praise of the food as we greeted everyone over the following hours following the meal. Don’t just take our word for it, as so many of our guests young and old alike commented that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Jim and his team broke down their stations and made their exit in a seamless and professional way. So please consider LeGrand’s for your big day. It will be the easiest (and best) choice you make during your process!

I've used LeGrand's catering for many many events, big and small. I always get tons of compliments on the food! Prices are reasonable and it's owned by a great local family. They are very accommodating and even came up with a special butternut squash soup for my rehearsal dinner that was amazing! What more could you ask for?! Don't hesitate to call LeGrand's.
