’ve hoped for! The day of our wedding, Leia stepped up and wore many hats to give me peace of mind and make sure I had a stress free and incredibly special time celebrating my wedding! The turnaround time for receiving our photos was incredibly fast and we were in love with every single shot. Leia- thank you a million times over for capturing (and facilitating) the fairytale wedding of our dreams!

And the wedding photos 😍😍 Magical. My husband and I don't have a lot of experience with taking professional photos and they were so patient with our awkwardness. I, personally, felt the wedding day was so chaotic in general but felt calm knowing Leia and Shane were there to capture all the photos we requested and there was so much effort on their part to get the best shot. If you are looking for other vendors, she provides a list of vendors she has worked with. An engagement shoot is included in her package, and she and her husband work together on the wedding day, so you get the privilege of having two photographers there. Leia and Shane were absolutely amazing on our wedding day, and we got our photos back within days. We loved sharing them with our family and making more memories with them as we looked at the photos. They are photographers who capture memories in the moment, whether someone is crying or laughing or dancing, and they both communicated with us throughout the night on whether we wanted to push certain events ahead of schedule or wait until later. Leia was very fun to work with every step of the way, and she was very encouraging to both me and my husband. She is also very prompt at answering any questions I had. I hope I will have the opportunity to work with her again in the future!

engagement pictures quickly and had the beautiful finished pictures back very fast. For the wedding- she was very helpful in putting together the wedding day timeline. I also sent her thoughts/questions and poses I was interested in having on the wedding day and she made sure to thoroughly review what was important to us on the wedding day and make sure all of our pose requests were done. We also had the photo booth at our wedding and would highly recommend- our guests loved it and they looked awesome! We love our engagement and wedding pictures and will forever treasure having these memories so excellently captured by Leia Smethurst Photography.

ng we looked for in our photographers, as I know some recent trends lean into the more blown-out desaturated look and frankly, that wasn't what we wanted at all. Leia and Shane have a fantastic gallery to back up their skills and versatility, and it truly shows when 7 different colored dresses all pop off the page Leia and Shane were, as others have said, outstanding photographers to work with. Personable, friendly, professional, kind, and patient. Like many recently our wedding was rescheduled numerous times - Leia and Shane were flexible and amazing to work with each time life threw us a curve ball. We received our photos back in **record** time after our absolutely glorious day. From invitations and accessories, to venue and getting ready, first look through the ceremony (laughter and tears!) and the fantastic party we threw afterwards - browsing these amazing photos makes the memories even crisper in our minds. We laughed the whole day through, and Leia and Shane have distilled that joy into a collection we will cherish forever. From Tucker and I ~ Thank you both so, so very much. Additionally ~ we also booked their photo booth and what a laugh! They set it up without a hitch, our guests had a blast taking pictures, and we are sending copies to everyone in their thank you cards (the guests do receive them digitally, printing them and sending them is a touch we can add since L & S provide you with the full reel digitally afterwards.) What a blast to see our friends and family getting silly! Highly recommend adding the photo booth :)

we finally had our big ceremony! In the meantime, Leia did a husband and wife shoot for us after our family only Covid ceremony and the pictures were STUNNING!! Then her husband and her knocked it out of the park on our wedding day! Quality work, listens to you, and always makes sure you are happy. Do not hesitate to book her for your wedding or any life event! You get a BANG for your buck! Leia is a wonderful person and is the right person to capture your big day! You won’t be disappointed! She truly cares about YOU and making your experience from start to finish perfect!

all good friends. Leia was a LIFE SAVER several times throughout the wedding. We definitely feel that we owe them more than what we paid, just for their friendliness and willing to assist in any way they could. As far as the pictures go, we couldn't be happier! Leia got the pictures to us within a week! They all came out beautiful and they were able to catch special moments without us even noticing they were there! They did an amazing job making an "awkward and unphotogenic couple" feel comfortable! We would 100% book them again for other events.

When I reached out to see if she'd be interested in shooting our hastily thrown together elopement last summer, her enthusiasm and excitement were contagious for this tired COVID bride and helped me get excited about of elopement. When we finally had a wedding celebration this spring, she and Shane were amazing to work with. She planned out the shot list prior to the wedding to make sure we captured all the photos we wanted. They were both kind and helpful to our family and friends at our event. Our photos did not disappoint and were amazing. Throughout this process Leia's communication, organization, and compassion took so much weight off my shoulders in what was already a very stressful situation. I cannot thank her and Shane enough and would recommend them to any couple planning to get married or needing any photography needs.

as appreciated greatly because I was so anxious to relive the moments she captured. She was very accommodating with our unconventional wedding request (a short “engagement” session followed by our intimate virtual ceremony). And when our Officiant showed up twenty minutes late, she kindly extended her time with us without question to capture our champagne toast, which was so important to me. Oh! And she brought a second shooter. I mean, every step of the way she went above and beyond. I highly recommend this team!

Originally, we weren’t going to do an engagement photo session, but Leia highly recommended this as it helps us get comfortable with one another. She was so right!! Having done the engagement session made wedding photos a breeze. Leia and her husband are very skilled in guiding you through the photo shoot. They ensure your photos look beautiful and not cheesey! They are relaxed and patient as you rally your bridal party and family for pictures. One of my favorite things is that they capture EVERY SINGLE MOMENT. I feel no detail was missed and I can go back through the photos later on and remember my wedding clearly. We also had a photo booth and our guests and us had a blast with it! I highly recommend including this in your package. When communicating with Leia, she was quick to respond, ensured all details were reviewed and correct, and overall was easy to talk to.
