From the moment we met Josh and Leidy, we knew they would be the perfect fit for us. Although I feel as though I am not a very photogenic person, I felt beautiful in every photo they took because they were able to guide us so seamlessly. They catered to any special request that we had to ensure we got every picture that we wanted. The photos from our wedding turned out greater than I could have ever imagined and I am so grateful to be able to look back at all the amazing memories they captured for us! Leidy and Josh delivered a remarkable experience. We had a rollercoaster of a Wedding planning season with COVID, and Leidy and Josh were phenomenally helpful in not only executing great photography on our wedding day, but also in helping us plan / navigate the whole situation along the way. I only share this as a testament to them going beyond the call of duty and genuinely trying to have the best experience delivered on the special day. The resulting photography is outstanding, and they were each very fun to be around and work with. Appreciated!

Leidy and Josh were fantastic to work with from the very beginning! You’d be hard pressed to find two nicer photographers. They listened to what we were looking for in our engagement photos and delivered perfectly! Leidy answered all of my questions about wardrobe and what to wear-she helped pick my dress and gave me makeup artist ideas for my wedding date. For someone who just moved to the area recently, that makes a world of difference! They also stood in the Freezing cold on a pier in February with us to capture memories that Charlie and I will cherish forever. 10/10 recommend Leidy and Josh. You can’t go wrong!

We contracted Leidy and Josh for our 10/10/20 wedding in July 2019. Because of COVID, we had to downsize the ceremony and postpone the reception to April. Leidy and Josh agreed to this, but in September 2020 tried to offer us alternate shooters as they had another couple who wanted to move to our date and “pay full price”. We declined alternate shooters because we wanted Leidy and Josh. Five days before the wedding, Leidy emailed us to let us know that both she and Josh contracted COVID. They offered us the alternate shooters again, or a refund so we could find a replacement. After several hours making phone calls and sending Instagram DMs, we secured a new photographer. L&J refunded our money and we wished them well as they recovered. Later we found out via social media that L&J shot another wedding on 10/10. This other ceremony was small and outside, beginning just as our contracted coverage was set to end. The photos appeared on L&J’s blog with a photo of the invitation with the time, location, and date (which they took the time to white out). They’ve since redated that blog to an earlier day than the wedding took place. A glance at the bride and groom’s social media confirmed it: L&J canceled our coverage but shot someone else’s wedding on our contracted date. Whiting out the date, redating the blog, shooting at a time that backed up to our coverage – it’s clear they felt they had something to hide from us. Luckily our wedding coordinator offered to step in and mediate the situation for us. We received a full refund and have canceled our contract for April. In September when they said they’d honor our agreement, they decided to fit both weddings into one day. We’re hurt, offended, and want to issue a warning to other brides and grooms: L&J do beautiful work, and I’m sure they’ve been there for 99% of their couples. But I wouldn’t be willing to take the 1% chance that they will back out on you during the most important day of your life because someone else is “paying more”, which is what appears to have happened to us. A full refund and apology isn’t enough to justify the way this situation was handled – from the call in September to the whited out date on the blog, – we are very disappointed and would absolutely warn against anyone trusting the photographed memories from their wedding to their clearly unreliable hands.

The magnificent duo - Leidy and Josh are the greatest addition you could possibly have to your wedding day. We highly recommend them! From the beginning we felt like they really made an effort to get to know us as a couple. Having our engagement session with them helped to put us at ease, and feel comfortable. We realized how amazing they were to work with, they became more like friends to us. The two of them made the entire planning process easy, they helped with every detail whether big or small. It was so helpful that our wedding day timeline was done for us, and we did not have the added stress! On our wedding day, not only did they have the aptitude to capture every moment perfectly, our guests loved and adored them! They have the ability to put everyone at ease. We are so honored to be their first couple they shot at Castle Farms, and hopefully we will be their first of many. They are truly a beautiful couple, a great team, and the best photographers to capture your big day! We cannot thank them enough for our beautiful wedding photos!

Leidy and Josh were awesome to work with! They were extremely flexible and willing to help with anything on our wedding day. They were very knowledgeable on the day of with timing and made sure everything ran smoothly. Leidy and Josh also know many different vendors in Michigan in all areas and were helpful in giving us their contact information. Crazy times! Changed dates, changed numbers, changed venues…but the bride and groom did not change their minds. My daughter and her fiancé chose Leidy and Josh Photography for their photographers after much research. Mostly because the photographs they were able to see from reviews were beautiful as well as “different” (in a good way). They met us at “Starbucks”, purchased our favorite beverages, and went step by step through their vision. They anticipated things we wouldn’t have even thought of. We were fortunate they were available. Due to Covid we unexpectedly had to move the wedding from a large venue to our backyard. And change the date from October to September because of our weather worries. Needless to say, I was a nervous wreck. Enter again, Leidy and Josh. From the start they made a major part of the wedding: the capturing of the wedding day, each guest and the “love in the air”, stress free. They happily moved the date up and made us feel our yard was the perfect backdrop. They were everywhere and yet “nowhere to be seen”. They were intuitive and literally were able to help us relax and enjoy the blessings of the day. The happy couple asked for a few pictures early to use as a Thank You note. They were happy to oblige. What incredible pictures. I cannot wait to see the rest. Leidy and Josh Photography…. what a truly artistic, creative, professional “couple” of photographers. We will certainly use them again in the future. We highly recommend them.

When you haven't taken a "professional" photograph since your senior pictures...in high school...an engagement session 7 years later can seem a little nerve-wracking and a bit daunting. Of course, this would only be the case if your photographers aren't Leidy and Josh. But if you are lucky enough to work with this extremely talented duo, then you are in VERY capable and creative hands that make it feel fun, exciting and like you're simply hanging out with long time friends that happen to have a camera in hand rather than a staged photo shoot. We cannot praise or recommend Leidy and Josh enough. And we've only had our engagement session with them! We are over the moon with how the photos turned out and feel very fortunate to have worked with these two. It gets us even more excited for the actual big day :) 5 stars aren't enough to rate them on their professionalism, energy, and talent. Seriously, look no further if you're on the market for incredible wedding photographers. These two are it!

Leidy and Josh have exceeded any expectations I have ever had for a wedding photographer! They both have continually gone above and beyond what they have agreed to do for us. Leidy helped me when I was struggling to find our engagement picture outfits by sending my links to dresses and even offering styling tips once an outfit was picked. They were so quick to give us previews and then all our pictures! I get so many compliments on our engagement pictures daily and it is all thanks to them! They also were so great about photographing our pup who is very shy and not the easiest to work with! They are so quick to answer any questions or concerns and are an absolute pleasure to work with! I can’t wait for them to photograph our big day and will be recommending them to anyone and everyone!!!

Leidy and Josh were the BEST photographers for both our engagement shoot and wedding. They are both extremely professional and have excellent, timely communication. During our wedding, they made us feel so at ease and gave excellent direction so we could have the best photos imaginable. Our bridal shoot pictures came out better than we ever could’ve hoped or imagined! Unfortunately we couldn’t have Leidy and Josh attend our ceremony due to Covid-19, but they gave us a complementary bridal shoot a week later at Silver Lake Sand Dunes. They look like they came straight out of a dream! We are absolutely IN LOVE with them! I’ve said it a thousand times, but I’ll say it again: thank you thank you thank you! You two are the absolute best at what you do, and Samie and I are so blessed we found you guys. We are going to cherish these pictures and memories for the rest of our lives! From the minute we started talking with Leidy and Josh we knew our wedding photography needs were in great hands! I loved that they took the time to get to know us as a couple to ensure it would be a perfect fit for when the wedding day arrives! I love their ability to give perfect cues and come up with amazing ideas for our engagement pictures! This allowed us to get to know their style before the wedding and be super comfortable for when the big day arrives! Leidy and Josh are by far the most professional and fun-loving photographers I’ve had the pleasure of working with. From the moment we met them, we knew they were going to be “our photographers”. They make each couple they work with feel like the most important people in their lives. They answer messages, emails, and Facebook notifications so quickly and so professionally. When my fiancé and I had no idea on how to dress for our engagement shoot, Leidy and Josh helped us by looking through clothing items we already had and matching them together to create some stunning complimentary outfits. On the day we took our engagement photos, we told them we had no idea what we were doing and we wanted to make sure that our pictures didn’t look posed or awkward. Leidy and Josh modeled how to pose and, when asked, would come and fix hair, jewelry, hand/arm positions, you name it, just to make sure the photos turned out flawless!!! All of our pictures came back so much more beautiful than I could have ever imagined possible. As someone who doesn’t see herself as “pretty” usually when looking through photos of herself, I finally saw myself as “beautiful” when looking through the photos that were sent to us so quickly after being taken. I couldn’t imagine how amazing they actually turned out! I have since been shouting their name from the rooftops and I have recommended them to all of my close family and friends. If you are looking for photographers that care about you as individuals, will go to great lengths to make their customers happy, and give you the most amazing moments captured forever, look no further. Leidy and Josh are the perfect people for the job!

Leidy and Josh are the best of the best! We genuinely could not imagine having better people as our wedding photographers. They are extremely communicative, professional, thoughtful, fun, and easy to be around. Not to mention they are incredibly gifted with their craft. We wanted a winter beach engagement session and although the weather ended up being extremely cold and windy, they stuck it out with us and somehow managed to make our photos come out absolutely amazing! Leidy and Josh were an absolute dream to work with! They were so much fun and made the whole process seem like a breeze! We could not imagine having anyone else photograph our engagement and wedding pictures! Leidy and Josh are unbelievably talented. We’ve only seen the “sneak peek” of about 35 photos thus far and they exceed all expectations. Their ability to draw out our personalities, their uncanny sense of perspective and lighting, and their skills of organization and teamwork are absolutely the best we’ve ever seen. We didn’t think there was any way we could have photos of each of the families after the ceremony, then travel to our house for more, and then to Sabino Canyon - all in 90 minutes. This allowed us to get to the reception on time, which was important to us. They were somehow able to get a huge family photo with 5 children under 5 years old all with their eyes open, no tears, and a smile on every face. They had scoped everything out ahead of time and knew exactly the best locations and positions to get the best photos. I poo-pooed the need to shoot the details (shoes, rings, invitation, etc.) but I’m so glad they did it anyway. Our entire weekend is now chronicled in a GORGEOUS manner. We had no idea we could look so good! The candid shots and the posed ones are equally fantastic. I can’t say enough about Leidy and Josh. They made us, camera shy people, extremely comfortable. Because they are also a couple, they are able to model the poses and behaviors they wanted us to exhibit. They captured our love and we’ll be forever grateful to them!

This was not there usual photo session. They agreed to take on a family photo session and wow were they ever amazing so patient and understanding when it came to our 1.5 year old. My husband and I were so lucky to have a session with Leidy and Josh while they were in town! They are both such a joy to be around, and they made us feel comfortable as soon as we met them! We tend to feel awkward about posing, but not with them! They not only guided us through how to pose, but they even showed us what to do! Josh and Leidy were so amazing to work with! We did a beautiful photo shoot and the pictures we got back were absolutely amazing. I loved the fact that I was able to download an app with all my photos! So cool! I've never had a photographer offer that. I really liked my experience with getting my pictures taken by Leidy and Josh because they are very professional at what they do. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly/inviting when getting your pictures taken so it takes away some of the nervousness you might have. Not to mention, they’re really great and kind people that care about their clients. The pictures end up looking very beautifully well, so overall I would recommend them!

Absolutely in love with my Engagement pictures! I didn't doubt for one second that I wouldn't. Choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions you will make for your wedding. While there is a lot that goes into planning the event, getting the best photographer, should be at the top of your list! It is an investment that you, your friends & family, will cherish for years to come. Leidy & Josh at L&J Photography were a fantastic decision! Very kind, professional & meticulously detail orientated! From taking the perfect shot, to editing, their work is exceptional! And they were both so easy to work with, organized, full of great ideas and very interested & open to my Pinterest suggestions as well! They made my husband and I feel very comfortable in front of the camera (which if you're not a professional model, can be a little awkward & intimidating), we had FUN at our shoot and got the pics back very quickly! They are a great team and we are very happy to not only have met them, but to have worked with them for our wedding pics!

Leidy and Josh were the best photographers my fiancé and I could ask for. I loved how before our engagement shoot they sent a questionnaire to get to know us so they could cater to our best interest when taking our pictures. They were excited and creative with our photos just like we were. They made us feel comfortable and we had a lot of fun. What I loved most about them was all the time and effort they put into making our photo shoot experience the best. You can tell that they really love what they do !
