She truly went above and beyond sending her awesome assistant, Elsa, out to pickup specific alcohol that we ran out of in the middle of the party.  One of the biggest parts was the cleanup- it was amazing to wake up to everything tidy and organized in the house, something I really didn’t think was even feasible with such a big event.  We highly recommend Karissa for any event planning!

My advice to anyone getting married is that a day-of coordinator is a MUST, because otherwise you'll be stressing over what is already a pretty stressful day. Ariane exceeded my expectations and had probably THE most important role to play in making our day as perfect as it ended up being. I had a VERY specific vision for our wedding (Star Wars themed) and everything was right on point! I couldn't recommend Leigh & Co enough (though of course I'm biased for Ariane specifically) and I'm so beyond grateful for all the help both prior to and on the day-of.

Instead of guiding us with a clear plan, she was asking questions such as the order of the wedding party, how we should enter, and where the sand ceremony table should be placed — decisions that were or should have been discussed and confirmed ahead of time. While she tried to maintain composure, she came across as flustered, which made me less confident, but still hopeful, that the wedding day would run smoothly. On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant were contracted to begin that afternoon with only a short window before the ceremony. With guests arriving so soon after, I expected execution to be seamless. Instead, set-up was still incomplete, so my sister stepped in to make sure details in the tent and around the ceremony were in place. She was also the one reminding her of the firm start time and coordinating with vendors like the DJ to keep things moving. During the reception, when we were already running behind schedule, she was not proactively moving events forward, leaving my sister to, again, manage the flow. That said, once it became clear that my sister would be her main point of contact, she did maintain strong communication with her throughout the day. She was responsive by phone, followed direction well, and ensured that any uncertainties were clarified rather than left unresolved. I appreciated that effort, as it showed she could adapt and carry out instructions once expectations were set. While I was largely shielded from the stress of these issues in the moment, it came at the expense of my sisters, who had to take on responsibilities that should have been handled by the coordinator. Instead of being fully present and celebrating with me, they were managing details and logistics behind the scenes. That was never the experience I wanted for them, and it was disappointing that the support I hired for wasn’t fully there when it mattered most. With stronger upfront preparation and organization, I believe she has the potential to excel. She communicates well, has a strong presence, and clearly wants to support her couples — but to truly deliver the stress-free experience brides and their families are looking for, those strengths need to shine from the very beginning. Thankfully, the company was quick to reach out to rectify the situation in a way that both parties were satisfied.

On the day of the wedding, Cam and Annabelle had everything handled -- our day was absolutely PERFECT, I was able to completely turn my brain off and just enjoy my day, while I knew I could trust that Cam had things handled. She somehow read my mind and anticipated everything I would want throughout the day, from a vodka soda while my mom bustled my dress before cocktail hour to having my sunglasses for me to put on during cocktail hour. I'm so glad we booked Leigh and Co., having Cam there on the day of my wedding brought me so much peace and allowed me to check out from worrying about how the logistics were going and just enjoy the best day of my life.

y to be around! Heather was very communicative and easy to get in touch with leading up the wedding, which put us at ease. She offered great input in developing the timeline and thinking about the overall flow of the wedding. She brought up several things that we never would have thought of that made things run so smoothly (e.g., suggesting when the officiant should ask to turn cell phones off at the ceremony, how to spread out the toasts during the reception). In setting up the ceremony/reception, Heather and Rachel made our decor look spectacular and kept track of everything special to us (including a few family heirloom pieces), and safely and quickly packed everything up for us at the end of the night. Due to some unexpected heavy traffic in the area, we ended up delaying the start of our ceremony but we didn't worry even for one second that anything would get upended because Heather and Rachel had it covered.

Not only did she meet those expectations, she far exceeded them. Katherine is the sole reason why our wedding day went as smoothly as it did. t all on their own. About 1.5 months out from the wedding, I totally freaked out and felt like I needed some support. My venue (Baltimore Museum of Art) kindly pointed me in the right direction on such short notice and guided me toward finding Leigh & Co where I connected with Brianna (owner), Katherine (lead coordinator), and Aleka (asst coordinator) who eventually helped me on the day of my wedding. Katherine was amazing! She truly communicated with me every step of the way from the second I signed on with her. I don't think there were many days that went by in the month leading up to my wedding where I didn't speak/text with her. We met on Google Meets and got my wedding day timeline down pat, and she communicated promptly with all of my vendors. Without Katherine, I truly don't know how my wedding day would've turned out (still beautiful I'm sure, but with less punctuality!). Katherine made sure everyone was where they needed to be the day of, and took the stress off my plate by taking on some of the more pressing matters of the day of. I got so many compliments about how punctual my wedding day was, and that they hadn't been to another wedding like it. I'm so so glad I went with my gut and hired a day-of coordinator, and for the price you cannot beat the services these coordinators provide! Truly worth it.

weeks before our big day, she took it upon herself to find a vendor in our budget, transport the chairs to/from the venue, and even help with setting them up & moving them throughout the night (not an easy feat in our unique venue). She was always easy to contact and was prompt with responses. Elizabeth had to navigate quite a few unanticipated curve-balls with our vendors the day of our event and she did it with professionalism and grace, all while ensuring our guests had a fabulous night. When some of our decor did not make it to the venue on time, she improved by setting up our decor in the most beautiful way. We hired her for the day of, but in hindsight, should have hired her for the entire planning process.
