I love to play with natural light and finding the in-between, candid moments that tell your love story. My style is often referred to as airy, whimsy, photojournalistic with a touch of classic. I make photographs simply because I love to. I love fruit, yoga, crosswords, long walks (not just on the beach), sports, my little dog Michael Jackson the Furst (yes, that's his real name), and my beautiful husband, Joel. I travel to meet people, indulge in flavors, learn languages, see the amazing earth, and to always say YES to adventure (always). I call NYC & LA home and love to be a nomad - destination weddings are most welcomed.

Leila captured our wedding in the most beautiful way and put my husband, myself, our wedding party and guests at ease in front of the camera. Leila's energy is what you want around you on this whirlwind of a day. It goes by so fast, but reliving the moments from our wedding through Leila's photos has been magical. We can't wait to see all of the beautiful moments when we get them back!

Leila is a sensational photographer. We loved getting to know her throughout the process, including in our Engagement Shoot in Brooklyn, calls leading up to the wedding, the wedding itself, and working on our wedding book afterwards. She is creative, efficient, empathetic, talented, and so much more. She shoots with a mix of digital film, which is rare for wedding photographers. The film really elevates the images, and Leila’s unique eye adds all the more to it. We will cherish the engagement shoot and wedding photos forever, and would highly recommend Leila to anyone.

My husband and I worked with Leila to photograph our wedding in September 2019 in Vermont, and she was, quite simply, the BEST. She was a breeze to work with during the planning process, and we felt super comfortable heading into the wedding weekend that we were in excellent hands. Leila has a lovely, calming presence that was apparent from the moment she arrived and began photographing the weekend. Even with all of the nerves and excitement of the weekend, Leila made it so easy for my husband and I to just relax and feel very natural during moments like the first look, or immediately after the ceremony when we snuck away for a few solo photos together before the reception. When we sent the photos around to our guests, we heard from so many of them that they had no idea she was even there taking pictures of them, which I think really speaks to her ability to somehow be in about 100 places at once while also making everyone feel very relaxed and natural. Leila has a wonderful eye and the photos themselves are absolutely stunning. She found so many unique and beautiful ways to capture various moments, and we were completely blown away when we received our photos after the wedding. What really shone through the images was her ability to capture the emotion and feeling of each part of the event - from the excitement of getting ready, to the more intimate first look and ceremony, and then the fun and raucous moments of the reception. We absolutely treasure our wedding photos and have spent hours scrolling through and re-living each moment. Thank you so much, Leila, for your beautiful work!!

Leila is amazing. We found her through our venue's preferred venue list and fell in love with her photos- we are so glad we choose her for our wedding! Her photos are very natural and capture a lot of light and movement. She is also super chill, calm and easy to work with- exactly what you need on your wedding day! We are so happy with our wedding photos.

We were so lucky to have Leila photograph our wedding (and engagement photos!). She is so awesome and truly feels like a friend through the wedding planning process. She has such a great eye and her photos have a light and magical quality to them. On top of all of this, this girl kept us SO on time during our wedding day like you couldn't believe it. Trust me, you want Leila on your team on your wedding day!!

We love Leila! Her work speaks for itself, but just in case, I'm happy to share more :) My husband wasn't so keen on the whole engagement photo session idea but once we hit the streets of NYC and captured both our love story and the city in its truest form, he had a newfound appreciation for her work and her down to earth, go-with-the-flow attitude. She is more than a photographer to us, and as a stressed bride she calmed many nerves leading up to our wedding answering emails right away for questions that went outside the definition of photographer! On my rainy wedding day she stepped in to help in more ways than one as we tried to quickly figure out plan b for our first look photos by calling venues and staying cool as a cucumber the whole day. Our photos look elegant, organic, ethereal and romantic. The way she develops them gives you a glow that any bride would appreciate. So many of our friends have asked for her info since seeing our photos and I can't recommend her enough, but I hope this review helps!!

Leila is simply amazing! I don't even have all of my photos back yet, but I felt compelled to let the world know how great she is. Not only is she the nicest, most helpful, responsive and easy to talk with, but she is SUPER-talented. She's not "in your face", and doesn't make you do anything cheesey. The end result is photos that look more like they belong in a magazine rather than your standard "wedding" photos. I also loved that she didn't have a silly watermark on the photos, so you could do whatever you want with them immediately. In summation, Leila takes editorial-quality photos, and you will be so happy you worked with her.

Leila is just about the sweetest, most talented, cool photographer ever! We were so happy to get to hire her for our wedding. She made us feel supported throughout the wedding planning process. She gave us great advice and was open to any ideas we had. She is so easy to work with!! You know right when you meet her that you're in great hands. On the wedding day, she helped everything run smoothly and was so flexible and sweet. Every person in our wedding party went out of their way to tell us that they loved working with her!! Our photos are simply stunning and dreamy. The quality looks like they're straight out of a magazine - she is truly an artist. Our families and friends are amazed at how great they turned out! Leila is THE best!

Leila is such a gem, we felt so lucky to have her be there and capture our special day. From the moment I spoke to Leila I knew she was the perfect fit. She is a true professional and an artist in every sense. Her eye for those special moments through out the day is something you can't be taught. Words to describe her work is magical and dreamy. As a bride, I can honestly say she saved the day countless times, especially with a little weather issue, she helped me stay positive and still get those photographs we will cherish the rest of our lives. Leila is the most extraordinary wedding photographer I ever could have wanted! She was incredibly wonderful to work with (very responsive and very helpful with all things wedding planning). She also is wonderfully talented and her style is very beautiful. My wedding pictures look like they are straight from a magazine or a fairly tale.
