Lela Nguyen

I found Lela after I had a disagreement with the previous MUA I had hired for the big day and she was very responsive and accommodating. I received an answer back within the next 24 hours and even arranged for a trial within the same week. You can imagine my relief since I felt like I needed a plan B ASAP after the first MUA. Lela was very considerate of what I felt comfortable in since I told her I have very sensitive skin. There were a few adjustments that I wanted after the trial and she was quick to fix them and delivered exactly what I wanted on the big day. I was not the most lady like (sorry Lela) on the day, as I was still recovering from a cold, not to mention the countless waterworks. But the make up held, even my bridesmaids were pleasantly surprised when they checked to see if I needed a touch up. The only thing my bridesmaid did all night was help me reapply lipstick. Win!

While I unfortunately wasn't able to also book Lela for my bridal makeup, she did do my lash extensions - which were stunning and so natural looking, people kept taking double takes and asking if they were real. Even professionals (from the woman who does my brow wax to my esthetician who have seen lash extensions - good, ugly, and everything between) were impressed with Lela's delicate attention to detail. I suggest getting your lashes done and following Lela's simple but strict pre- and post-appointment guidelines if you hope for the best results on your wedding day.
