Every so often, an experience comes along that you feel compelled to share with the world. For my daughter’s wedding, Karen Legan, owner of Lemon Dehlia in Wilton CT, truly exceede...
d all expectations with her floral designs. The table centerpieces were not only elegantly crafted but also infused with a playful charm, garnering rave reviews from our guests.
But Karen’s brilliance did not stop there. She created a stunning outdoor arch overlooking the sound for our ceremony. When an unexpected storm rolled in, Karen and her team swiftly adapted, deconstructing and rebuilding the arch under the cocktail hour tent—a difficult endeavor considering the challenging conditions. Despite the rain, our Bride was thrilled to exchange vows under arch, under the tent.
Beyond the centerpieces and the arch, Karen designed the most exquisite bouquets for Grace and the wedding party. We repurposed these floral masterpieces at the grandparent wedding photo table and bar area, while estate containers filled with nature's finest adorned the aisle. Individual bud vases lined the large fireplace mantel, and the flowers seemed to dance in the flickering candlelight, creating a truly magical atmosphere.
Karen is one of the most creative, dedicated, and thoughtful professionals I’ve ever encountered. Her tireless efforts ensured our big day was nothing short of perfection. We wholeheartedly recommend Karen Legan to anyone planning a wedding or special event—she is simply marvelous.

ctly what I have envisioned, but on our wedding day I was just overwhelmed by the beauty of her flowers! From my bridal bouquet, to my mother's nosegay, to my husband's boutonniere, to the Mandevilla vines outside the church - Karen had thought of every little detail and all the flowers tied together beautifully. I love the way Karen uses her creativity to come up with something unique and gorgeous! I would highly recommend Lemon Dahlia Flowers to any bride or for any special occasion.

was instrumental in pulling together the vision and aesthetic for my wedding in May 2016. I shared with her some inspiration photos I had saved from instagram and pinterest and from there she was able to pull together the most stunning, emotional, floral arrangements in a palette of pinks and corals - offset by ferns and greenery. Karen's floral work + simple lighting was all that was needed to set the scene. Working with Karen was inspiring and rewarding. I am so grateful for my experience with her and confidently recommend her to anyone seeking beautiful, one of a kind floral arrangements for their wedding (or any special occasion)!
