Lemons and Olives made our 160-person wedding feel like an intimate dinner party, which is exactly what we wanted.
From our very first conversation, Marko and Tanja at Lemons and ...
Olives immediately connected with our vision: we wanted guests to feel like they were sitting down to a big family meal—simple, delicious, and reflective of the place where we were celebrating. They brought that vision to life beyond anything we could have imagined, creating an atmosphere of warmth, intimacy, family, and incredible food.
Working with Marko and Tanja was one of our favorite parts of the process. They are warm, flexible, and creative. They encouraged us to build the menu around dishes we love, resulting in a spread that felt personal and unique. During the wedding weekend, their entire team was fantastic. Every conversation we've had with guests since the wedding has included the delicious food and the lovely and attentive service.
Hiring Lemons and Olives was one of the best decisions we made, and we only wish they had a restaurant so we could keep eating their food!
We booked Lemons & Olives for our February 2025 wedding in Brooklyn, NY at Wild East Brewing. Both my partner and I are vegan, and it was important to both of us that we pick a cat...
erer who could make a genuinely excellent, 100% vegan menu.
These guys knocked it out of the park. With a few tweaks, Marko created a menu designed for two food stations featuring grilled pizzas and tacos, all of which were vegan and mouthwatering. At our tasting, we narrowed it down to three options for each, with nut-free and gluten-free options for guests with restrictions. A standout were the squash blossom tacos – we had multiple NYC-based guests ask if L&O has a brick-and-mortar location where they can get the tacos because they’re the best they’ve had on this coast!
While our venue had space for catering, they have no in-house kitchen equipment. Marko suggested that the L&O truck pull right up to the loading dock and bring the hot food inside to our guests at serving stations in the venue. It was the perfect solution! Throughout the experience, Marko and Tanja were super easy to work with, genuine and down-to-earth about everything including pricing, and their staff ran things smoothly on the day. Finding a NYC caterer who is honest about their fees and offerings was one of the hardest steps of the planning process, but once we found Lemons & Olives, it became one of the best, most memorable parts of the wedding!

n for our size of 170 guests. The tasting experience was so fun, and the team was amazing! Food should not be skimped out on, and I know for sure our guests will remember their dinner among all their other weddings forever!
