We chose the Day of package for our wedding. With this, we surely got way more than expected! Felita and her assistant were able to take what we envisioned and perfect it. We used the resources that were included with our package to finalize details and create layouts. So useful! Most of all, we encountered no disarray, she kept everyone organized and the day was smooth throughout the timeline we filled out together! I can’t say enough how much we appreciated her expertise, commitment, and care when it comes to each wedding she takes on! Would refer any couple straight to Felita!

ne call with Felita, she made me feel at ease. She is a calming presence, and incredibly organized, two things I desperately needed when planning my wedding in Edisto. She stayed in contact consistently after our first phone call, and once we got closer to the wedding day, she scheduled a 2 hour phone call for us to go over the timeline and finalize details I never would have even thought about without her. She contacted all of our vendors and made sure everyone was on the same page, and helped us practice at the rehearsal the night before, which ended up being much needed. The day of the wedding, she was there before some of my wedding party (haha) to begin setting up, and just jumped right in. They even spent hours folding the napkins just right, and made it so we had to do 0 setup on the day of. This made it so we were able to enjoy the day with our loved ones with as little stress as you can imagine on your wedding day. When unforeseen and unpredictable circumstances arose, she quickly and seamlessly made them right again without the bride or groom even knowing there was anything going on! The two team members who were there for the ceremony and reception were wonderful, they were so upbeat and helpful. It felt like they were enjoying our day as much as we were- they even got in on the Photobooth. I am almost positive that there are more things that the team at A Day Made Events handled behind the scenes that I may never even know about. On top of everything else, the price was very reasonable when comparing with similar services in the area. All that to say, I am so thankful we found A Day Made Events. They truly made our day into the most special celebration I could have dreamed of. 100000 stars.

She provided our planning through a phased process which was convenient and low stress for busy/work travelers like my husband and I. She is also so humble for someone of her sage and talent. She let us know up front that she would make sure things moved appropriately on the wedding day and she 100% percent delivered on this statement from all big and small tasks. There are no words to describe how special of a person she is. She treated our family with such grace and kindness. She also brought so much joy to our day of ceremony and reception. Felita walked us through each stage of the planning process, recommended an incredible team of vendors, helped us plan and execute COVID protocols to keep our guests safe, and generally went above and beyond to help give us the perfect day. My favorite thing about Felita is that she really listens to each couple and seeks to understand who they are and what vision they're trying to achieve on their wedding day. My husband and I really wanted to have a wedding that was simple and elegant, and we felt like Felita heard us and made recommendations that fit our vibe and didn't just offer a carbon copy of other traditional weddings. some design guidance for my wedding. She went above and beyond and took on more work than asked when we had changes with our venue requirements and issues with our rental company. She always asked the right questions and guided me through all the details I would have never thought of. Her professionalism and experience was evident from the get-go and her vendor recommendations were frankly invaluable as they saved us a ton of time, money, and stress. The week of our wedding, our event company canceled a huge part of our order due to damage from a previous wedding and without blinking an eye, Felita found replacement items 7 days before the wedding and even went and picked the items up for us to save us delivery fees. Then the day of the wedding there was a huge mess with the tent delivery showing up late and then also forgetting missing pieces. She never once let me know something was wrong and her team basically hustled and setup my wedding in a quarter of the time it should have taken. I can confidently say that my wedding would not have gotten pulled off the way I envisioned it if it wasn't for the hard work of Felita and Angie. We owe our perfect day in large part to That Spark Events!

nsightful call with their representative Bri. However, the reality of the person assigned to our wedding could not have been more disappointing. I worked with Sana as our month of coordinator, and attempted to be as organized and put-together as I could since we were doing a lot of DIY decorations. After only two phone calls between her and I, I was certain she could and would bring some professionalism to that day. To be honest, if it was not for the unpaid labor (my mom and my husbands friends) the wedding would not have been set up the way I wanted it. She was not only rude to the people who helped set up, but unaware of any of the set up because she could not make the time to come and view the venue prior to the wedding. She rushed us through the most important moments, especially the photos for after the ceremony, and through our Korean ceremony as we weren't able to even take any photos with our traditional attire on. She was rude to my husband's aunt as they were trying to get more photos in between the ceremony and Korean ceremony. All in all... that was the worst, most frivolous $1,200 I have ever spent in my life, and the biggest regret of my entire wedding day.

ally unexpected and far from the impression we thought we made on you and your family. We work very hard to make our client experience extraordinary and so I am deeply sorry that your experience fell short. I would, however, like to address a few of the points made in your review.
First, you mentioned that you doubt that Sana would have been able to setup your decor as envisioned as a result of her not making time to visit the venue. I would just like to point out and clarify that in fact neither a site walkthrough nor decor setup were included in the package you selected. The contract that you signed does specify this and it says that only the laying of linens and placement of personal items such as your guest book, cake knives, seating chart, etc. would be included. Aside from this some light decorating may have been allowed. However, since you did DIY your decor it was enough to fill more than a Uhaul trailer and so this definitely would not have qualified as “light decorating.” We did, however, go above and beyond our obligation none the less and we did assist your mother and friends with setting up your decor despite this fact.
Furthermore, you mentioned that you were rushed through your formal photos which were important to you. It was never our intention to rush you but rather to make you and your photographer aware that we were far behind where we needed to be on the timeline. We tried to assist your photographer by trying to prepare groups for photos to get them done more quickly as this has helped us countless times before in similar circumstances.
Lastly, I have spoken with Sana about instances where she may have been conveyed as rude. She sends her apologies to whoever may have felt she was being rude in any way. It was never her intention, and she hates that she was seen in this way.
All of that being said, I would just like to say that we are still so glad to have been a part of your big day. It was a beautiful and perfect day and we wish you guys the very best in blessings.

When I panicked a week before our wedding because the weather forecast predicted it was going to rain that day, Felita (our wedding planner), was the one who calmly assured me not ...
to worry and that it probably wouldn’t (it actually didn’t rain). When the lady baking our wedding cake abruptly left us hanging 3 days before our wedding, Felita found us a new baker in less than an hour. And I must say—our guests ranted and raved about how delicious and beautiful our cake was for weeks. When our wedding venue staff told us minutes before the wedding started that we couldn’t use our horse and carriage on their main lawn for the father and bride walk down the aisle, it was Felita who negotiated a deal with them to allow us to use the carriage for the bride and groom grand entrance during the reception instead. That way, the horse and carriage wouldn’t be a waste for us. And dare I say—we actually liked the change better.
Needless to say, Felita had our backs from beginning to end. She was extremely patient and calm even when I called and texted her frantically. She was always professional and kind. Her list of recommended vendors was incredibly useful in helping us to choose our DJ, bartender, etc. She never came across as overbearing or a know-it-all even though she has YEARS worth of experience in the field (and it shows). She allowed us to make our wedding our own and offered valuable input when necessary.
Felita and That Spark Events is the only wedding planner/company I’d recommend in the Charleston area. Thank you, Felita!

elita and I began speaking at least 2 years before my actual wedding took place. We were suppose to have a destination wedding and when covid happened our wedding was cancelled. Felita was willing to speak with me and suggest ideas even before we officialy booked her as our wedding planner and day of coordinator. She was always happy and willing to talk to me even before paying for services. Planning a wedding can be very stressful, having Felita as my planner defenitely took alot of stress away from me. I don't know how she does it, but this lady definitely knows what she is doing. On top of that, her communication skills are top notch. If you want a weeding planner who knows how to effectively communicate with your vendors, make negotiations, resolve any conflicts, and keep you calm at the same time look no futher. One thing that Felita always told me is that nothing goes perfectly planned at a wedding, there will always be something that may be off, but my job is to make sure that you don't notice it and it doesn't affect your day. edding, Ash-Lee was incredibly responsive to any questions I had, she was very organized and detail-orientated, and she was so patient when I messaged her with updates and changes along the way. :) She communicated with all of my vendors so that everything was clear for them the day of. She put together a wedding timeline, which was sooooo detailed it blew me away. It alleviated a HUGE burden off my shoulders, and it helped contribute to a smooth and perfect wedding day!
She also helped out on our rehearsal dinner, and I was impressed by how she directed my wedding party and the tips she gave! She is a wedding planning machine :).
Our wedding was BEAUTIFUL and seamless. The day of could not have happened without Ash-Lee and her assistants. They even did some light decorating with the decor I provided and worked with my maid of honor to make sure all the decor was perfect. I'm a bit of a control freak so it was GREAT to know that things were in great hands.
I really, really can't thank That Spark Events, Ash-Lee, and her assistants enough! I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

When we had to postpone due to covid-19, Felita went above and beyond her "day-off coordinator" title and helped us through rescheduling all of our vendors to our new wedding day of 4/16/21. She and Sana recommended great vendors, answered every question we had quickly, and just went above and beyond our expectations. Sana was our day-of coordinator and she kept us both sane throughout the day and made sure everything happened just as planned. I cannot recommend this vendor more highly for any couple planning a wedding in the Charleston area!

fferent state (Texas) may make this experience difficult, but it was not. Sana made this the most stress-free experience possible despite the long distance, COVID, downsizing, and the other obstacles that tried to come our way.
Throughout the entire process, I was treated like I was her only bride. All emails, calls, and texts were responded to promptly. I never had to worry about a thing. I even enjoyed her friendly check-ins just to see how I was feeling.
I know some brides spend the last month of wedding planning stressing over the details, but that was not the case for me. And, as I reflect on our big day, small details come to mind that Sana completely managed and executed just like I wanted without me even saying a word. This goes to show how much she invested in getting to know me to ensure that the my vision came to life.
I HIGHLY recommend The Spark Events and Sana. Working with the team was the best wedding planning decisions that I made.

Felita helped us find & hire dependable, amazing & local vendors. Without having someone who is tuned into the local wedding scene, it is very hard to find affordable vendors that you know you can count on. Because Felita could lean on her experiences & connections to the South Carolina wedding industry, she helped us stick to a budget that I really wasn't sure would be enough for a destination wedding in Charleston. Between the periodic check-ins that we had, the amazing planning interface that she uses, and the plethora of decorations that she allowed us to borrow, she made keeping to our budget easy!
Not only did Felita make our whole planning process seamless, but she also helped make the actual wedding day go perfectly as well.The day of she and her team coordinated everything. They took care of working with all our vendors, all deliveries, & all of the set up. We were able to relax & focus all of our attention on each other & enjoying the time with our guests. She was wonderful with recommendations and when the month of my wedding arrived she coordinated with my vendors to get everything in place exactly as planned. She had an important family matter arise the week prior to my day but she was still there to make sure everything went as planned which was more than I could have asked. I didn't see her much during the actual event- which means everything went as planned and she worked behind the scenes to make it all happen! It was a wonderful day and I couldn't have done it without her and her team. I highly recommend Felita as she is more than affordable, very organized, kind, and knows how to make things happen!

portantly help minimize my worries. On the wedding day Felita was incredible! She helped keep the day on track as much as possible, trouble shoot an issue with our car rental and make sure we were having a great time. She truly brought my vision to life and I am so thankful! Felita is truly an expert at what she does and I can't recommend her enough. Even after the wedding, she helped us with an unexpected vendor issue. Definitely add her to your wedding team sooner rather than later!
