On top of the beautiful venue, Leopold’s staff was unmatched in their professionalism, communication, kindness, and organization say of. Jamie and Mataya were so wonderful to work with and were amazing hype women the entire morning of our wedding! We decided to go with a third party day-of coordinator, and while it made me feel good having so many people dealing with logistics the day of, I think we would have been fine without because Leopold’s was so on top of everything. We were worried about only having one option for catering, and were not excited about doing plated dinners but the staff at Mintahoe worked with us and came up with a pasta buffet which was AMAZING. I absolutely recommend Leopold’s for your wedding, you will not be disappointed.

All throughout our event we received compliments from our guests on how perfect the venue was (the open air deck with fire pit tables was an especially big hit for those who didn't want to dance all night, but didn't want to leave the party) and how wonderful the Leopold's team were (seriously so many people told us that not every venue has staff that is this engaged and attentive). Even the bartenders made the night special by saving and gifting the wine opener used for our first toast as a married couple. We were so impressed and so thankful we chose Leopold's as our wedding venue.

They provided a personal connection to us from the first meeting. All the reviews about them are extremely accurate. I did not have a wedding planner, Erin was my day of coordinator and she communicated with my promptly about every single detail for months. She accommodated many requests due to our wedding involving Indian ceremony in the morning and the events being almost full day’s events. The Mississippi River provides such a scenic backdrop which made our ceremony surreal. The flowers, trees, swings- there were a hundred photogenic spots for our guests. We had the ceremony on the riverside, lunch on the lawn, cocktail hour on the deck and reception inside the banquet hall. We utilized every single bit of the gorgeous site. We had guests come from all over the world and they could not stop raving about the beauty of the venue, the very planned execution and the generosity of the staff. If I had to do it all over again, there is not one thing I would change about the day!

been to. Jamie and Erin were a pleasure to work with, especially considering we had to move the wedding due to COVID and talked through various scenarios to keep our guests safe. Jamie let me take multiple naps in her office when I wasn’t feeling well and tried to find medicine for me. She also offered my pregnant friend more bread when she couldn’t eat anything else. Erin welcomed us for each site visit and was very accommodating with dropping off items ahead of the wedding. Jordan took guests up from the ceremony in his ATV, which was very helpful for grandparents and guests who were less mobile. Lastly, Steve the bartender was awesome and at the end of the night, he came up to us to give us the bottle opener he used throughout our wedding as a keepsake from our special day. It was so special and really appreciated. Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens is family owned, and we feel like we’re part of the family

y, COVID hit and attempted to destroy that dream. However, Jamie and Erin were great! They worked with me to reschedule to a new date in April 2021. Then in February they called me and suggested I move the wedding once again. They had my original wedding weekend (just in 2021) available. They knew I was a high risk and thought this was my best option to have the safe wedding of my dreams. This blew me away and made me even more appreciative of working with these amazing individuals. Leading up to the wedding they were always available to answer my questions and listen to my concerns. On the day of the wedding, they were amazing. Jamie, Jordan, Erin and the LMG staff were there to take care of any issues that arrived and calmed me when a few items outside of their control were going wrong. Steve the lead bartender was also amazing. I cannot say thank you enough to Jamie, Jordan and Erin for making planning a wedding during COVID a little less stressful. I am so grateful to everything you did to make us feel special and our day feel like a Disney fairytale.

out LMG. Unfortunately for us that was not the case and we had to postpone. So covid hit (which is nobody’s fault) and the biggest let down was that we were told we couldn’t pick another “peak season” Saturday date. So we had to settle for an April date, which we didn’t want, and we’d already paid for peak season.. which isn’t April but of course we didn’t get refunded anything but I guess at least we didn’t have to pay more to move it. But you would think that they’d want to make sure the couples that were already booked took priority when all of this started happening. And then when we mentioned to them that we were irritated about the date, which happened when we were a month out from the rescheduled date, they offered to change it last minute and let us have a date we wanted. Why couldn’t that have just been an option from the beginning and not when it’s a month away? Another issue we had was that in the time we had postponed the venue made some changes (the venue took over alcohol service) that resulted in us paying an additional fee of almost two thousand dollars for 30 LESS guests due to something that was out of our control. And I don’t know if it was on the Leopolds side or the Mintahoe (catering) side but we actually had less guests than we had originally paid for but had to pay more out of pocket due to this change that they implemented that we had zero say in. Again, if we would’ve had it in 2020 as planned we wouldn’t have run in to any of this. The last issue we had was that when we arrived on the day of, they had several venue tours scheduled. And maybe it was a bridezilla moment but that really bothered me! We’ve had this day scheduled for over a year and in my opinion there shouldn’t have been any tours while a wedding was going on. They were going to tour the bridal room while we were all getting ready but I asked them not to because it was frustrating that we’ve paid all of this money to rent this place for just our people and then there’s 3 tours scheduled to be running around in the midst of us getting ready and taking our photos. Other than all of that, the venue is absolutely beautiful, the owner Jamie put in a ton of effort to make it nice for us, and it did end up being a wonderful day that was managed well on their end. It’s a very gorgeous ballroom and ceremony site that we instantly fell in love with and it ended up being perfect.

e is a dream come true. Our daughter got married outside and had the reception both inside and out. Since the wedding was during Covid season, we didn't know if it was even going to happen. But Jamie , Erin and Jordan were the best support team we could ever have. Their encouragement during a challenging time made this wedding happen with the best possible outcome! We had lots of conversations and when all was said and done, everyone said it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended. The food was spectacular and the detail of everything was perfect. I wouldn't look any farther if you visit this place. You will fall in love. And a HUGE shoutout to Jamie, Jordan and Erin and their wonderful staff who truly are the dream team to work with with. They will not disappoint, I promise!

With Walz new restrictions being set 72 hours before our wedding, they gave us the option to move the whole day up so we could still move forward with our day, and they worked their butts off to make it happen. A lot of our guests commented on how amazing the grounds were! We just got married during the midst of the pandemic, and Jamie and the staff did an awesome job being flexible with us so we could still celebrate while being safe. They have a Day of Coordinator named Erin who works through the catering company, Mintahoe, who also went above and beyond to help me plan all the details beforehand and kept us on schedule on the big day. She and Jamie were so quick to respond to my emails/calls - I planned my wedding out of state and they made it so simple (even during COVID)! We couldn't be happier with our day!

We loved the ceremony location by the river, large deck for happy hour, ballroom with large windows, tree swings, and all the tasteful decorations around the property. It's a great venue for taking wedding pictures for bridal party, family, and guests. The space works great for both outdoor and indoor ceremonys. Honestly everything exceeded my expectations. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

er just as we hoped, but had the weather not cooperated, the indoor venue would have been great too! Not a lot of places we looked at had “backup plans” that still have that “wow” factor. Secondly, absolutely everyone we worked with during planning, the day of, and after our wedding was truly fantastic! Jamie and Erin were great - they have built a fool-proof process that allowed even a super-planner bride like me to relax and truly enjoy my special day because I knew it all was covered. Working with them was easy - I loved that I didn’t have to find a vendor for every little thing (table clothes and chairs and lighting or any of that stuff!) They even streamline the catering piece and everyone raved about the cake!! Our nephews still talk about it months later - and they know a thing or 2 about cake! If you’re considering LMG, know that they’ll do everything they can to make the day perfect for you! We couldn’t be happier with how the day turned out!!

Planning a wedding from a distance can be challenging, but Erin made it very simple. We had countless emails back and forth and she answered each question promptly and completely. It really couldn't have been easier. We had a ton of stuff to drop off when we got into town a couple days early. The LMG staff tucked everything away safely. On the day of the wedding, they came to our rescue helping with things we forgot and answering our last minute questions. Jordan, Jamie, Erin, Elsie, Barbie, and the rest of the crew made the whole experience absolutely amazing! I HIGHLY recommend LMG and wouldn't have changed a single thing.
