anner, I was comforted in knowing that my photographer would arrive on time, work hard, and capture every shot that was important to us. As art appreciators, we also wanted to work with someone who would be thinking about composition, color, scale, etc. Leslie, along with the help of her talented second shooter, delivered a generous set of images that included everything from traditional portraits with family to creative candids. Their presence did not feel invasive and they were both calm and up-beat, which is important on your wedding day. Prior to working with Leslie, we did consider several other photographers who were less expensive, but we both felt that photography was an important investment in our day. We also feel that creativity and professionalism come at a price. We are very pleased with the outcome and would recommend Leslie to other couples.

My husband was very involved in the planning of our wedding and we knew exactly what we wanted in terms of the shots we wanted or didn't want, and she didn't care and did what she wanted. It was all about the "perfect" shot. She said all the right things to us early on, but showed her true colors about a week before our wedding. Tread lightly and do your research by talking to past brides, don't just look at reviews as I did. Of all our vendors, Leslie was the one we were the most disappointed with. While her responsiveness to our inquires and questions was good, her professionalism, complete disregard for photos we wanted, and attitude were awful the day of our wedding. Right from the get go she didn't do as I asked: I was stuck in traffic trying to get to the venue after getting my hair done, Leslie called, I told her I was going to be late and to go take my husband's family photos and him getting ready to save time once I got there. Her response: no, I'll wait for you to arrive. Which, she did, resulting in very few photos of my husband getting ready and none of the family photos for his side that we wanted. Unfortunately, her professionalism went downhill after that. While she did take some beautiful photos, there were photos we asked to have taken prior to the ceremony that she deliberately didn't take because, and I quote, "no one buys those photos." When we asked her point blank at a meeting a few months after our wedding why they weren't taken, she avoided the questions entirely. Her actions on the day of our wedding were unbelievable to us and our families. To name a few incidents: she approached myself, my mother, and mother-in-law and demanded to know how many photographers we hired (which was just her, though we have a couple family members who have a passion for photography), threw her hands up at the sight of an uncle taking picture out front of the venue (she also stormed off and yelled "I'm done"), and when her time was up, she approached me with her hands behind her back and said she'd stay longer but that it would be an additional $550 an hour for her time. I could go on with other issues we had, but our wedding day was still a memorable day. If this review is disputed, know that her services were paid for as a gift for us for our wedding, and that we did hire her.

able to work with us within our budget for the long day (she started at noon and left after 10pm!!) and was always available to talk and calm my nerves. As a bride, that was probably one of the most important things for me aside from the quality of the photos. Many vendors don't understand the importance of communication and Leslie did. She was available to talk and strategize to help ensure we got all of the combination of shots that we wanted on the day. Leslie also took the time to get to know my husband and myself personally, which helped to ensure everyone was comfortable on the wedding day. As for the photos – they are fantastic! We had so many to review and to choose from, each better than the last. My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with all of the photos and know that every moment and memory from that day is captured beautifully. The bonus is that our families are even more pleased than we are with the photos and the service that Leslie and her studio provided us. For anyone looking, I would highly recommend Leslie as a photographer and friend. She took beautiful shots, got us everything very timely, was extremely responsive and easy to work with and helped us stay within our budget – all very important qualities to anyone looking for a photographer on their wedding day!
