In our prep conversations, she took notes, really showed how much she cared about our big day, and was extremely flexible in her schedule and flow to match the lineup of our wedding day. At the end of the day, we are left with an amazing collection of photos that truly blow our mind – she captured the big moments and the little ones, including the capture of a last-minute surprise that she didn't know about until just a few minutes before. tely natural- neither of us is particularly comfortable in front of a camera, but Leslie helped us feel completely at ease. During the wedding, she seemed to be everywhere at once! Many of my guests remarked that she was almost a mind-reader, showing up exactly at the right moment to capture the joy of the evening. ographer -- she has an incredible photographic eye and her journalistic style is amazing. There are many "generic" photographers out there who can take classic staged or posed photos, and Leslie is certainly capable of taking those photos (and happy to do so). But if you want a photographer who is at the next level and always observing and seeking out the special moments among people and in your surroundings, Leslie will capture these and make truly special photos you will cherish forever. We were very lucky that Leslie temporarily lived in the D.C. area when we were engaged, and that she moved back to Maine, where we ultimately had our wedding. Leslie got to know us and suggested great locations in D.C. for engagement photos that perfectly matched our ideas, and was unphased in 17-degree temperatures on an early February morning to capture a lot of fun moments in both urban and nature settings. For our wedding ceremony and reception at French's Point, she again took time to learn our priorities, settings, and ideas for photos and even went to French's Point before our wedding weekend to scout potential photo locations on the massive property, including which locations would be best at different times of day. She was incredible every minute of the very long day, making everyone feel comfortable, ensuring everyone had fun, and constantly adapting to changing wind, weather, and sun on a late-October day on the Maine coast. We 100% recommend Leslie and hope that we can work with her again someday. She is amazing!

All of the photos Leslie took came out absolutely incredible and they really reflect both my husband and myself individually and as a couple.

Leslie is devoted to her craft. She has seemingly endless ideas for creating unique shots. She uses all angles and spaces to her advantage. At one point she ran across a busy street to capture an image of us under a large “LOVE” sign from a traffic median. Ten minutes later, she was up on a stepstool perched atop a steep hill to get a beautiful shot of us with the Baltimore skyline in the background. We were consistently impressed with the lengths she would go to in order to craft the perfect image. In the weeks after the event, Leslie periodically sent us some ‘teaser’ images via email, which were wonderful treats that got us even more excited to see the full set. When our final images arrived, we were just overwhelmed with joy. What we love most about the final product is that each image is composed thoughtfully and captures a really particular feeling or moment in the day. Some are silly, some are romantic, some are serious -- together they form a gorgeous mosaic of our experience sharing the day with family and friends.

tremely sweet and professional during the wedding; all my guests raved about what a good job she was doing. Leslie somehow managed to remain unobtrusive, though our venue was quite small. Most impressively, she made my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera; something neither of us have ever enjoyed. The turnaround time was remarkably fast for wedding photos, and the results are flawless. I love that we were able to receive both a flash drive filled with the images as well as a link to the photos online, making it easier to share with friends and family. The flash drive came in an adorable little box with handcrafted touches all over it. From beginning to end, my experience with Leslie was incredible, and I would 100% recommend her to any newly engaged couples.

rtant to us to find someone who got "us" and took the time to understand the non-conventional approach that we were interested in pursuing. After booking her for a DC wedding we were planning for May 2016, we threw those plans out the window and decided on an elopement in October 2016 instead. Leslie was such a joy and was so flexible. She was gracious enough to drive into the mountains in the Shenandoah Valley (no small feat) and photograph our tiny outdoor ceremony, and to spend several hours with us frolicking and laughing on an absolutely gorgeous fall day while we took photos. We are so happy to have chosen her in part due to her energy and personality, as with such a tiny ceremony she really became a part of it! We will always have the memory of feeling so comfortable and at ease with her and having so much fun. I cannot recommend Leslie higher! She is the best.

She also was incredibly reasonable on price. She could have charged us quite a bit more, but she delivered, regardless of our budget.
