I'm so glad I booked LeslieJo Beauty as the hair and make-up artist for my wedding celebration!
I had her do hair and make-up for myself, and make-up for my mother and my mother-in-law. I so appreciated the care and attention she took with the mom's. I could tell that Leslie made them feel relaxed throughout the process, and that they both felt beautiful with the end result. It was amazing to see them glow with extra confidence and joy. Both the make-up and their happiness lasted throughout the night!
She also made me feel beautiful, too. I looked and felt exactly how I wanted to: glamorous but still myself. I worked up quite a sweat while dancing late into the night, and the make-up held up great. Leslie was amazing to work with, leading up to and during the big day. Super communicative, very flexible, and an expert at what she does.
I would highly recommend LeslieJo Beauty to any bride.

I started as a make-up artist after finishing my Fashion Merchandising degree from the University of North Texas. I have worked for 18 years in the beauty industry. During this time, I have been professionally trained by Bobbi Brown, MAC cosmetics, Makeup Designory, and am a Licensed Esthetician. I am constantly updating my skills, including studying with top industry creatives. In addition, I have done numerous special events, photo shoots, and shows. She has the rare ability to read a situation and understand exactly where her talents fit into a project. Makeup is easy to get wrong. Because she understands the project, she knows exactly how much to insert herself to make the look match the overall vision. Understanding the nuances of a project is what sets her apart from many other makeup artists I've worked with.
Another thing that sets her apart is that she understands lighting scenarios. Going above and beyond to understand how lighting impacts skin in photography is a rare skill that most makeup artists don't fully understand.
I highly recommend her services.
